Angelina Jolie glows in Reem Acra with her main man Brad Pitt by her side at the Changeling premiere at the Palais des Festivals during the 2008 Cannes Film Festival on Tuesday in Cannes, France.

Reviews for Changeling have been really positive! Says The Hollywood Reporter, “Jolie puts on a powerful emotional display as a tenacious woman who gathers strength from the forces that oppose her. She reminds us that there is nothing so fierce as a mother protecting her cub.”
Adds Variety, “But impressive as [Jolie] may have been as the wife of Danny Pearl, her performance here hits home more directly due to the lack of affectation — no accent, frizzed hair or darkened complexion, and no attempt to consciously rein in emotion. ”

Brad is jealous of Angie’s success in Cannes. Even if his movies do well this year his acting will not get the rave reviews Angelina is receiving right now.

Joaquin Phoenix Hospitalized for Stomach Flu

Joaquin Phoenix has been hospitalized for a stomach ailment, forcing him to skip the premiere of his new drama Two Lovers Monday at the Cannes Film Festival, according to Entertainment Tonight.
In an email read at a press conference for the film, Phoenix, 33, said he was “very disappointed” he could not attend the premiere.
Director James Gray added that Phoenix wanted to attend, but doctors insisted on hospitalizing him.
Gwyneth Paltrow plays one of one Phoenix’s romantic interests in Two Lovers.
When asked at about Phoenix’s health, she told Fox News, “He’s all right.”

If Brad does not walk the RC with Angie then the gossip will be that they are breaking up. Other couples can get away with it but not Angie and Brad. Brad is not jealous of Angie, he had his time last year. I really don’t think it bothers Brad. I think he really enjoys not being in the limelight and laid back. Angie made the comment that” he will get ready at the last minute as usual” when asked if he was going to be on the RC during the Kung Fu Panda interview. I think Angie and Brad have a really good chemistry together. They fit just right! Love the resturant video. So affectionate; Brad has always said that he can sense the papz shoting them from a distance. He was right on target!

Brad is extremely proud and totally supportive of Angie. He cast her in AMH which got her plenty of raves.
Brad put up with the tv girl for years, sitting in the back at award shows with the tv girl and her Friends, dining out with the tv girl and her Friends, only vacationing with the tv girl and her Friends, and living in a sterile childless home with the tv girl.
Now Brad has a megastar who loves him for himself, sits up front and center at award shows, vacations with Paul Allen, dines with Clint and Mick, and is the happy father of 4 soon to be 6 little munchkins with Angelina.
Oh c;mon, he’s a hollywood actor with a big ego standing there while his woman gets to show off her clint eastwood directed film . A blow to the male actors ego. Brangelina fans betta hope his movies are decent because I’m sure y’all remember what happened when Ryan got all jealous of Reese’ success. Jealousy and ego trippin’ leads to divorce. It is better for the relationship when the man is more successful than the woman.
He’s used to being the big star well *ahem* where are his movies being viewed @ the Cannes film festival ? The last move he had there was the lame ass oceans 27 movie.

It’s funny. Hasn’t Gwyneth Paltrow tried to claim some sort of voluntary ‘family leave’ absenteeism, and claimed she was making some type of ‘comeback,’ for each of the 137 films she’s done in the last 4 years? Hahahaha!
If she’s trying to say she hasn’t been working, that’s a lie. I’ve seen her working throughout the last 4 years constantly.
I don’t know why media outlets swallow this line of bullsh*t from her and her PR agent - every single time out of the box. Perhaps it’s because you really don’t care.
That’s a legitimate reason.
But I tend to like accuracy, and I like people called out.
I saw Paltrow plugging a couple of films in Toronto a couple years ago - she was working hard. So all of this, ‘my place, since I kinda left,’ the business is just incredibly disingenuous at best, and a bald faced lie at worst.
I guess it’s to explain away the disinterest and the fact that no one cares now, and they really didn’t care then.

Excuse me to Gwynnie but Jodie Foster is on a whole different plane than her. She is a star…she only comes back when she wants to and people don’t seem to have forgotten her. She hasn’t lost her place in the A-list although parts for her kind of roles and her age level had become limited. She has 2 Oscars that she thoroughly deserved to win and she can still command the price that she asks (with all the perks).
Jodie is a pro and I wish Gwynnie would stop riding on her name. She should speak for herself alone. She’s still a freaking social climber and a name dropper (Madonna, Prince Charles, etc.) You don’t hear Angie say the names of people she’s been cozy with, do you? And these are real VIPs who have a lot of respect for her.
