The cast of High School Musical 3 is here with a sneak peek at their new feature film!
Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu and director/choreographer Kenny Ortega all talked with ABC’s Good Morning America on Tuesday.
Zac shared about coming into rehearsals a few weeks late because he was busy shooting another movie, Me and Orson Welles. Apparently he couldn’t keep up with girlfriend Vanessa: “It was tough catching up with everybody. Vanessa’s tough to keep up with, man. She’s really coordinated. It’s tough.”
But the entire cast seemed to have a hard time!
“I’m still hurting. We’re all kind of limping around,” Hudgens said.
“I think I grew a full shoe size. My feet are so swollen. It’s pretty bad, but it’s worth it,” added Coleman.
“Well, actually, the shoes are comfortable,” Tisdale said. “We had ballroom shoes on and everyone was wearing heels and everybody was like, ‘Argh, my feet hurt,’ and I’m like, ‘Mine are great!’”

okay - I love Ashley but I am one of those who thought Sharpay had way too much screen time in HSM2 - maybe her being home while some of the others film is a good sign that she won’t totally dominate HSM3. I also thought it cute how the continuing saga of Lucas and Ashley was brought out in the GMA Interview - they showed that in the Road to HSM2 as well - she is pretty “bossy” if that is the right word toward Lucas - in a fun way - but you can tell in her interviews she is definitely - a little “out there” when it comes to being “in charge and confident”……with that said, I do like Ashley and think she is very sweet and probably just home for a few of her days off while OTHERS are filming scenes that she is not involved in. I do think they organize their shooting schedule that way.

liz, you have to check your channel guide. Cause it’s on channel 7 where I live. ABC, NBC, and CBS are different channels in different cities, as are every other channels.

#152 Pit- I see where you are coming from, but I prefer HSM2 over the original as far as entertainment value. They can never replace the chemistry and originality of the first, so that is also special for fans.
It seems like people may be jumping the gun on what this 3rd movie entails? The 2nd was about summer (and a country club owned by Sharpay and Ryan’s parents so I felt it made sense that she/they got the amount of screentime) I’m trusting that Disney realizes there are MANY characters we fans want to see their stories come to a close with attention to not just one character like we may have seen in the 2nd.
Ashley plays a strong character, with over the top drama, which does add that element of comedy. But I hope we see Taylor, Chad, Kelsi, Martha, Jason, Zeke, Ryan, and of course Gabriella and Troy’s stories all get a decent amount of screen time. I wouldn’t say I want “less” Ashley/Sharpay, but more wildcats in general.

what the heck?! how did ashley rank TEN & vanessa TWELVE?? what the heck is that anyway?? don’t they know how many fans vanessa has?? just because ashley’s the blonde one (not even naturally) doesn’t make her “sexy” or whatever. vanessa’s so much naturally prettier! very confused here…
not hating on ashley by any means, but i think most of us can agree. i never thought ashley would be on one of these lists, or w/ vanessa! i believe vanessa should’ve at least been ahead of her! doesn’t really seem to make sense to me.. or beleivable. these rankings were on appearance.. right?? anyway, the interviews were awesome! & a lot of zanessa!
Both Access Hollywood and Extra is on YouTube now so if anyone didn’t get to see the actual show, you will be able to view it there. Also, I noticed someone mentioned ET—were they on that too? However, Extra is on the same time as ET is where I live. Did someone get that on YouTube? Well, ET repeats at 2AM in my area so maybe I can catch it if someone will tell me they were on there too! LOL I guess nobody wanted to be left out of the HSM blitz.
This is the first time I have ever posted, but just wanted to get in on the fun. I am a 35 year-old teacher who only started looking up information about HSM so I could talk with my 5th grade students about something they are all crazy about; I enjoy having some “common ground” with them. However, I have become completly hooked and reading posts such as Just Jared has become my guilty pleasure! I find the whole Zac/Vanessa relationship to be a great relief from all the typical Hollywood hype-relationships. I think it’s great that my students have such wonderful role models available to them and I have enjoyed watching Zac and Vanessa grow and mature over the past year. I am so excited about HSM 3 and am also looking forward to seeing all of the projects Zac and Vanessa have been working on.

What a day! They made all the major networks. I brought sneakernights on itunes and requested it on Disney.
