Jake Gyllenhaal is the Prince of Persia
Jake Gyllenhaal has been crowned the Prince of Persia!
The 27-year-old actor and Gemma Arterton, who stars in the new James Bond film, will take the lead roles in the fantasy adventure, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, which starts production in July.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Gyllenhaal will play Dastan, a young prince in sixth century Persia who must join forces with Tamina (Arterton), a feisty and exotic princess, to prevent a villainous nobleman from possessing the Sands of Time, a gift from the gods that can reverse time and allow its possessor to rule the world.”
Last month, it was reported that Orlando Bloom would take on the role.

(RIA Novosti political analyst Andrei Kislyakov) - Sea Launch, the U.S.-Russian-Ukrainian-Norwegian consortium using a mobile sea platform for equatorial launches of commercial payloads on specialized Zenit-3SL rockets, has announced that its planned May 21 launch will be postponed indefinitely. This minor setback highlights major problems plaguing the Russian space program.
The launch was postponed because a similar rocket that lifted off from the Baikonur space center in Kazakhstan in late April failed to place an Israeli satellite into the intended 36,000-km geostationary orbit. The customer will now have to use the satellite’s precious fuel reserve in order to attain the required orbit.
Sea Launch executives have therefore decided to suspend operations pending an investigation of the abortive Baikonur launch.
This is the latest in a series of failures involving the most advanced Russian launch vehicles and spacecraft. In September 2007, a Russian Proton-M rocket carrying a Japanese communications satellite exploded shortly after lift-off. This March, another Proton rocket carrying AMC-14, a communications satellite owned by SES AMERICOM, a New Jersey-based satellite operator, failed to reach its planned orbit

the problem is that jake doesn’t fit for role of a persian prince, why any body want to fit jake in a role so bad when it’s obvious he’s not the right actor, he’s perfect to play the role of INCREDIBLE HUCK, not playing the role of persian prince, it is rediclous.

This film In the Cut was broadcasted very late in a channel whose old people watch the television program in Germany. They don’t like and complain in a newspaper! Thiesae kind of films must be broadcast in a channel of television for pornography too.
It isn’t correct that these films (and others with same themes) would be broadcast when the children watch television.
I am tired to be the sensure at home. Nobody thing about the mothers and fathers whose must work at night or all day long.

It is called fantasy. If every character of a film has to be played by an origin than you can forget the film! Because an ancient Persian Prince was a descendant from Indo-aryan, the modern Iranian nowadays are descendant from Proto-iranian. Who knows how an indo-aryan back there look a like. Without fantasy, there would be no film. Cate Blanchett played as Queen Elizabeth I. If you see how Queen Elizabeth looked a like, you would say: no way! Or Charlton Heston played Ben Hur. Who was Ben Hur, and How he looked a like? I have no idea! But can I accept that Ben Hur could be like Heston? Yes, I can. It is called fantasy!

And I used to see a character of a person, not his/her face. If this Persian Prince is a good hearted man, brave and noble, I will accept him, even if he looks like Frankenstein. But if this prince have the same moral attitude just like Uriah Heep (a character in David Copperfield - Charles Dickens’ book), it doesn’t really matter for me if he looks like Mohammed Reza Foroutan or Mohammed Reza Golzar!! I still will not like him.
