Taylor Momsen Oozes for Opera
Gossip Girl sweetie Taylor Momsen looks regal in Marchesa at the American Ballet Theatre’s 2008 annual spring gala at the Metropolitan Opera House on Monday in New York City.
“I love wearing jeans and T-shirts. That’s like a uniform for me,” the 14-year-old rising star told Access Hollywood recently. “But at the same time, I love getting dressed up. I don’t follow trends with my everyday fashion. I wear what I feel like. Sometimes it doesn’t match and sometimes that’s okay.”

Lissa, I know exactly where your coming from. I totally agree with you. And shamrocks gave a perfect example. Dakota Fanning’s wardrobe is always appropriate for her age no questions asked.
I also forgot to mention. Check out the recent event Dakota attended. I personally think it was lovely for her to wear at the age!

Lissa, her FEATURES are what make her look older, if you’ve ever seen her without makeup or just dressed in a pair of jeans and t-shirt you’ll see that she STILL looks older then her age. I believe the dress fits the occasion and is much more suitable then anything you’ll see at prom these days. I’m sorry, but I think sometimes parents are stuck in their “ways” and just need to be a little bit more openminded. “Just my opinion.”
I dislike Jenny Humphrey, but I love Taylor Momsen. lol. Ironic, much? And hard to believe she’s only 14! :D

but lissa she isnt even wearing that much make-up and she isnt a normal 14 year old she’s a celebrity and she can’t dress like ur daughter to a gala she has to wear a dress and make-up i wear nice dresses all the time and im younger than her now come on its a new generation today and the dress isnt tht bad who cares u cant blame ppl cuz the child has to wear a nice dress to a celebrity event she cant just show up there looking like she is going to a prom she has to blend in with everyone else duuuh!
i wear make-up like that just to go to the grocery store well not nessacarily but u know where im coming from its natural today and we need to get out of the dark ages there r girls younger than me wearin more makeup and im younger than taylor

i can see her *** hangin out the side of the dress, and shes too young for a dress like that. It’s a hot dress, but shes too mature and too young for it.
Her make up makes her look like a drag queen!!!
