I think the younger David is more markable! He’s the male versionof a Miley Cyrus. Although David Cook won..he’s not different from a thousand other rocker dudes. Similiar to that Chris Dougherty guy..
whereas the cute David has a something young girls adore!..and he’s got a sweet voice!
ok, i’ve already commented on this, but i just wanna say that i watched this over again (we have it recorded on our DVR), i watched the “Love Guru” part (that was funny), and the end part where they announced the winner. and i think that David Cook was nice about it. like, when Ryan said that he had won, David Cook was like hugging David Archuleta. and when David A. went over to the side of the stage, David Cook was like, “David Archuleta everyone.” and started clapping. i still think that David Archuleta should have won. he has the better voice. hopefully David A. will be more popular, and will see more records that David C. :D
of course not.. david archuleta rocks… he should have win… he sings amazing!!… go david A…. ur the winner 4 us!..

Archuleta had talent, but he was too syrupy and sweet to be the Idol. I picked David Cook from the start. Yeah, America did it right this time.

to all you people hating on archuleta or saying that he sucks, you can’t honestly say that after listening to him sing that his voice deserves ANY complaint whatsover. i mean, listen to the boy sing! his voice is ammmmmazing. AND he’s still so young! how much more awesome would his voice be if he were cook’s age? yeah, think about that. archuleta does NOT deserve to bagged on, so stop it.
i’m not saying that i’m on the archuleta boat or that i’m on the cook boat, because i’m not. i’m on the archuleta-cook boat! haha because, for one, they’re both equally AMAZING singers in their preferred genres, and second because they’re both genuinely niiiiice people. (i really didn’t care who won! i LOVE them both!) but it isn’t right to say that archuleta sucks when it’s obvious that he doesn’t. so stop being such jerks and accept that both davids rock.
So disappointed that David A did not win. I think the judges gave him the edge last night and that made DC’s fans even more determined to vote.
How ironic. The better performer last night…didn’t get the most votes. I think AI should take a cue from Dancing with the Stars. The judges rate the performance and their vote becomes a percentage of the total.
I’m so proud of you David A…..I’ll be waiting to buy your first CD!
