Beyonce to Record James Bond Theme
Newly married couple Beyonce and Jay-Z arrive at Nice airport in France on Thursday.
It’s been reported that Beyonce will record the theme song for for the new James Bond film, Quantum of Solace. Amy Winehouse was originally attached to the song project but producer Mark Ronson has said work on the song has been shelved for the moment because Amy is not ready to make music.
Beyonce is rumored to be in talks with Bond producers about performing a new track written by Amanda Ghost and collaborating with legendary Bond composer John Barry.

I could well imagine Lain ey’s gossip site being highly unreliable. I think most gossip sites are. She probably hears all sorts of of gossip, but might not be able to distinguish which is true and which isn’t. I’d also say that any insider to gossip might only release a few teasers, and keep the rest to themselves as not to lose the insider status.
Did you see the lovely clip from Dan at the Kings of Leon concert in London. He just looked so happy. What a s e x y man - especially when he smiles like that!

Mendel, I made some of the bag comments, the first one- not mine- was indeed hilarious. And I made a few others …about the gf being a groupie and aside from the person carrying the bag, the Coach bag is beautiful (something like that).
mendel, no I did not get tix today. I have some other ideas that i am going to try….for tickets…not today but later on. this summer..
I never ever ‘run with the mad rush stampede’ on the first day of ticket sales, or any other sale for that matter.
I wait till things settle down and then I see what the landscape looks like!

yes, you are in the lucky position that you are close to the theatre action. So you can bide your time.
The whole ‘ring-gate’ (love that expression!) is starting to look a bit silly if indeed, they are married and just want to use the announcement at some event for the highest exposure, or if Dan just doesn’t want to acknowledge it. But I still think they are not married, and all the questions might be highly embarassing to Dan (and to Sats, especially if this was done to push the issue).

TOday, Sunday, was a sunny gorgeous day and i went to the beach today, got back late..but I DID get a great tan!

By the way, I went to check on ticket prices and on stubhub.com the tix are about 250 US dollars - low end- all the way up to $850 US dollars high end …and you know the scalpers are going to get 10 times as much!!
There are other ways though…there always are…
i am going to wait this one out………. as I always do! hee!

just got back, and had a quick check upstairs - nothing new, and yes, I saw wannabe’s posts. You’re right, Jimmy, she just wants some attention, because her other personas were ignored. I hope JJ manages to ban her soon - well, that ranting Babs character disappeared and was probably banned, so hopefully, “W” will be gone, soon.

I have been having a great conversation upstairs with UPDATE poster, who of course is Satslumdog.
She is able to give the perspective of the press/paps and what is going on from their point of view.
VERY VALUABLE and CREDIBLE information I think…

Also, the poster trying to detract from the conversation and talk about the tiolet bowl cleaner??? Clearly Wannabe Eve trying to change the subject and get the attention back onto what she wants to discuss… .

This is the bit that drew my attention:

I’ve read a few comments like this by British actors - they all do emphasise that Dan is a very private person and hates all this publicity. So I think ‘ring-gate’ (love the expression) must have really REALLY irritated him. Problem is, since he IS Bond for now, the publicity won’t stop. And if he still finds it difficult to even publicly admit to either being married or not being married, it seems time that Dan really does work out his relationship to the whole publicity circus. I mean, right now, he has to live with it, so why being so contradictory - he looks miserable most of the time whenever he is photographed, and then suddenly he is all smiles for a short while. After 5 years in the limelight, is it not time to really come to terms with fame? If he doesn’t, in the long run, he’s the one who will suffer for it - the press just does their job (ok, the ‘pap in the box’ was really intrusive, but the majority of journalists do not waste their time hanging around in cardboard boxes…). Maybe, working with Hugh will help - this actor seems to have worked out his relationship with the press, and looks a happier person for it. Hope his happiness and professionalism will rub off on Dan a bit - I would wish it for him.

Well, I posted it now. Well better getting it wrong this way, than the other way round.
I really enjoyed Jimmy’s discussion with update - and I do feel that Dan’s attitude is his worst enemy. Unless he is taking a break from filming, I do wonder why he does not get the scripts. He’s a brilliant actor, and he should be out there, showing off his talents.
And the whole ‘ring-gate’…what does stop him from answering a journo’s question with a smile and saying ‘no, we are not married’ or some joke about when they do, he’ll invite the press, or if they are married, so say so. That would stop him getting hassled.
This is the bit I just don’t get. That’s stubbornness taken too far. Of course, he doesn’t HAVE to say anything, but since he is so much in the public eye, it would make his life just so much easier if he did.

Yes, Daniel hates the press atttention and does not court it. I notice how Under the radar he has been, even more so, since this whole thing happened with RIng-Gate!
But the gf courts the press and PR- she thinks they will make her famous and all she has to do is be seen with Daniel and the press and PR attention will take her to her own fame.
I don’t think she has ever heard of ‘innate talent’.
Anyway, I agree with your post Mendel. If he wanted to get rid of the press hounding and speculation, just make a public statement and be done with it all……………. Unless the whole marriage thing is a fake and a fraud and Daniel is doing it just to keep away crazy women fans and psychos and fanatics. They probably scare him and he is definitely stepping up the security i am sure right now, esp. before his NYC trip.

I also think that there is no marriage, surely by now, some journalist would have found the marriage certificate, or been approached by somebody who had information. Furthermore, those two just don’t look happily married or married at all to me…
And I do also think that crazy fans scare him, well, wouldn’t those scare anybody, lol! So yes, the security will certainly be stepped up in NYC, also, because the fans will get double testosterone with Dan and Hugh, the screaming when they both appear will be deafening!!!

i saw James Gandofini in GOd of Carnage and after the show there were tons of fans waiting for him to sign autographs and he just ran out the stage door in the front of the theatre and ran right into a waiting car and took off.
And James Gandofini is not HALF as popular as Daniel, so you KNOW it is going to be BEDLAM outside the theatre after the show for fans of BOTH Hugh and Daniel.
CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY KOOKY man! The crowds and tourists and the fans all mobbed onto the sidewalk!
Daniel better come to grips with this ‘fan’ stuff now-
or he may have heavy heavy security surrounding him.
OR …..mAybe the fan frenzy may all die down after about a month-

Maybe Daniel will be in heavy disguise at least while he is walking around the city, maybe they will disguise him when he leaves the theater… ? But they won’t be able to do that every night for 12 weeks.. I doubt.

it would be a pity if he does run out of the theatre or is in disguise every night after the show - I have a feeling he might have to do the stage door thing, especially if Hugh is doing it, and he sounds like he might. Have you heard anything about what Hugh was like when he was on Broadway before?
But yes, it will be crazy and security will be high - would they put up barriers around the stage door?

mendel regarding your question about putting up barriers around the stage door…I don’t think they will be able to- for one…..they would be totally blocking the sidewalk and the public would be forced to walk into the street if they put up barriers alongside the stage door. They may take him out one other door on the side, but even so, the public will mob that door too and the sidewalk will be blocked bec of the mob.
I have a feeling they will pull the limo into the back alley alongside the theatre, through these huge metal gates and pick him up, then have the limo back out of the alley, bec I don’t think the limo or any car for that matter can drive thru this alley and it is the only one there.
Unless there is an underground way within the theatre itself that he can walk through to get to the other side of the huge block, in which he could conceivably do that and get away without anyone asking him for an autograph. Or anyone seeing him leave the theatre for that matter- go thru an underground walkway?
Otherwise, it will be like the James Gandofini thing where he will be mobbed outside the theatre and they will rush him into the car……….
BUT IF HUGH IS SIGNING…..IT WILL NOT BODE WELL for Daniel if he runs away, or runs into the limo and/or does not come out!
And the girlfriend better get out of the way bec I think she will be run over!!
LOL!!! no kidding! The sidewalk is NOT big at all and can only hold so many people, then everyone begins to overflow into the street and cars are going up and down the street so it could easily become a VERY DANGEROUS situation with someone gettting hit.

But IF HUGH is signing…..then the same will be expected of Daniel or he WILL GET BOOED!!
New Yorkers will do it in a heartbeat!!! POLITE is not in their vocabulary, especially if they have been waiting or paid hundreds of dollars for tix and Daniel does not stick around to sign afterward and HUGH does!!

thanks for posting all this info. Now I have a good idea what the area around the theatre looks like with all the side streets and possible underground ways and expectant NYers who will boo and hiss if Hugh signs autographs and Dan won’t.

I just caught up with the posts upstairs…I am.not sure who is posting but it seems that they are trying to sway everyone towards the ‘ they are married but you won’t find the license’ thing- like that is what they are hoping for.
Sounds a bit like wannabe eve, in that she is taking her opinion and then making it sound like ‘fact’.
FOr now I am willing to take Update on her word and her information as the most reliable.
And NO WAY did Lainey say they don’t look for marriage licenses.

Lainey, if put on the scent of the trail, has many contacts in the industry and if she can smell a wedding, she will have NO reason NOT to blabber it all over her site and anywhere else.
Lainey would just LOVE to break this story IF she had the correct facts and info.
SURE she would look for a license IF she was tipped off to the country and the approximate date….
LAINEY has fact checkers and fact-finders at her disposal and she or someone in her office would be looking FOR SURE.
Lainey is also connected with a tv network that does broadcast entertainment news from Canada- where I think she is based.
The tv network has sources and access to sources to check for this IF Lainey wants to know…

I share your suspicions to the posts claiming the marriage is a fact - sounded to me as if wannabe was posting to herself.
And the press, paps, gossip columnists do routine checks if they get a whiff of a rumour, so I am sure they checked the available databases for a marriage licence, and asked their contacts for information.
Maybe Lainey is more careful about publishing any Dan marriage rumours this time, but that doesn’t mean she’s not checking and sniffing around. That’s her job, so she’ll be on the trail if there is one…
And I don’t believe there was a wedding. Somebody would have blabbed by now. I also find it hard to believe that Dan would not just say so if he was married and was asked.

So far, nothing of accuracy has been posted in the Sun, or the Mirror, no blind items as i have checked those, anywhere else on your side of the pond where you think accurate info could be believed??
Daniel is much more popular and more of a celeb over in the uk than here in the us. We have only just recently been introduced to him over here, so daniel would get more of the focus of the press in the UK for sure, no doubt.
Mendel- YOU would know first before anyone over here I would think….
