Amanda Lorber, the editor-in-chief of Cypress Bay High School’s The Circuit newspaper, will be ringing up Just Jared for an exclusive interview later this afternoon to talk her addictive MTV reality TV show, The Paper.

Ok i love the show. I have on staff at my college paper for 2 years now. I started calling my editor Amanda even though his name is Rich.
My Question is are the ratings doing bad and is that why there ending the season so soon, or was it like an eight episode thing? and, Will there be a season 2. Team Amanda *******!

I live in the same city and this was filmed over a year ago! All of these kids are already in college!

I wondering about the production of reality shows…
- What was the process of agreeing to be on an MTV reality show?
- Do you feel like the editors/producers cut certain scenes or encouraged certain conversations in order to create drama?
- Did you have any qualms while filming about being put on tv for the whole world to see?
- Do you feel like people were accurately portrayed?
Either way I think you’re really brave Amanda and just keep doing what you do!

First off; Amanda is the shiz!! I freaking love her sense of humor and way of attacking things. She has amazing patience to deal with the people she does and the way they treat her.
I too was editor of my school’s pape this year and had a butting of the heads with another editor and it ended up working fine but for a while we joked we were on The Paper. What I want to know is how has being on TV effected her life? Does she have people come up to her and say crazy-esc things to her? If so how does she handle it?

I love this show! I started watching it yesterday. I think amanda is just awesome. Screw the others, even though I love Adam the drama queen! she’s definitly gonna get far in life. I like how she doesnt really let others bring her down, she continues trying. Her friend that is always with her is definitley a true friend. Giana is probably just jealous that she isnt capable to do all that Amanda does.

Hah i went to cypress bay high in 10th grade,my family always moved and i went there for half of the skewl year.Basically everyone drives expensive cars and everyone who goes there are spoiled little rich kids.But alot of them still have great hearts! LIke amanda! I wish wen i was going there they were filming!She seems nice…everyone there has a personality alot like hers like there not afraid to just be them! In case ur wondering where cypress bay is its in broward county florida,i lived in southwest ranches…im not sure wht towns all went there but anyways i have no questinon just this comment…
