Celine Dion Gets Waxy
Celine Dion joins her husband René Angélil, 66, and son René-Charles, 7, as she’s honored by French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Paris on Thursday.
The 40-year-old Canadian chanteuse received one of the country’s highest recognitions, a Knight of the Legion of Honor.
The family also attended the Celine Dion and Rene Angelil wax figure unveiling held at the Grevin Museum also in Paris.

I know I’ll be one of many to make this similar comment, but for the love of God, Celine: CUT YOUR SON’S HAIR ALREADY!!! He looks absolutely ridiculous like that. I read an article where she said that he doesn’t want to cut his hair and she doesn’t want to make him do it, but comon—I just don’t get how any little boy would want to go around with his scraggly long hair hanging down to his **** almost. Does he not get teased about it by other boys? At any rate, it’s a damned shame because he’s an otherwise cute kid.

This is true, René-Charles look like a girl… but, he don’t want cut his hair! Unfortunately…
So many people get it wrong when they think that a son who’s father is bald will get bald. Baldness actually comes from the mother’s side - so if Celine’s dad is/was bald, then her son will get bald.
Anywho…
The kid looks absolutely ridiculous with that long hair. What is it with parents that let their kids do whatever they want? The way he’s dressed is pretty bad too. A kid that age shouldn’t be wearing suits. He could look perfectly appropriate for the occasion in less formal wear - he is after all just a kid.
Wills someone give that freakin kid a jaircut.. its not cute to have hair that long. What is he aspiring to join twited sister or some hair band.

Celine is beautiful as always. Good for her. BUT PLEASE. CUT THAT CHILDS HAIR. I read they let him make that decision. He is to young. Take him to the barber now. It is past ridiculus. You can save the hair in his baby box. I saved my children’s first hair clippings. But, you go any longer, Celine will need a Hefty size lawn bag.

I’m sorry, but just because the kid doesn’t want to get his haircut doesn’t mean one should indulge him. He is going to be, wait…I’m sure he already is, one spoiled brat. His hair must be awfully hot in the summer. It wasn’t bad before but now it’s getting so long it’s almost to his rear end. I guess if he’s a well-adjusted kid, that’s the main thing. He’s probably home schooled so no problem with being teased. Anyway, I’m done on the Rene-Charles hair comments - it’s getting boring already.

Doesn’t want to cut his hair? Come on….if she had cut his hair as a little boy, he would want to look like a boy instead of a girl in the year 2008. Further, he always looks tired in his photographs.
They may be super rich and she may be attractive but their offspring will end up with emotional problems from the “unreality” lifestyle they have led since their marriage.
Congrats to Celine Dion! She has a cute child, but like a lot of people here, I too believe that she needs to cut his hair.

Why is it always the same: the wax statue does not look like Celine Dion. maybe a bit, but Celine’s face is not that round as this statue and over all I just don’t think it looks like Celine. Maybe the hair and the mouth but it does not look well… For Some reason all those wax statue creators cannot make a statue really look like the person it is supposed to look like..
