“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” Movie Trailer
Here’s the trailer for Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett’s new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
To refresh your memory, 80-year-old Benjamin Button (Pitt), is born aging backwards, causing complications when he falls in love with a 30-year-old woman (Blanchett).
Director David Fincher said, “It’s dark, it’s romantic, and it also deals with mortality in a pretty unflattering way. Button is born in 1919 - with the film itself beginning in World War I, traveling around the world and carrying on all the way through to the year 2000.”

Hey Piper with a low, I saw your comments concerning BB, and Indy Jones. I agree with you on both of them. Here are my thoughts if you are interested.
I saw Indy Jones today. Somethings are best left alone. Cate Blachett won’t win any awards for this movie. Also saw the CCofBB trailer. On the full screen there is a lushness that is produced by the colors, the cinematography, the visuals and the music. It truly rich.
The other previews were KFP, Wall e, and the picture with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman. KFP was the best of the three, IMHO. The colors are bright and the characters are cute. Wall e didn’t move me, nor did Nicole’s movie.
I stopped by Half Price Books and found the book with the BB short story. It is only 20 pages long, therefore I sat down and read it there. The story is written in a very straight forward manner. Description is mimimal, but adequate. The movie seems to have added a few more characters, situations, and dialogue. The book doesn’t explain why BB was born old. But it does show how his birth affected those close to him and his life naturally. BB in the book is a slightly selfish man.
This is a movie that will generate a lot of buzz. If for no other reason than the special affects. But didn’t Fincher say that he coaxed a great performance out of Brad. That will also generate buzz. This should win lots of praise for Mr. Pitt. Peace
If it is true that Brad and Angie have signed a three year lease on a villa in France, to me that would not signal breakup. But that is JMHO.

Seriously, haters.
You’ve been calling ___’s ‘food babies’ pregnancies for the last three years; of course you @$$holes can’t discern a legitimate, multiple pregnancy.
And regarding Holly… what are you hateful heifers afraid of? Are you scared that Angelina will, yet again, set a higher bar for how Hollywood actresses should act, i.e., provide her personal assistant with the best maternity leave/compensation package unheard of by Hollywood’s standards? Because, IMO, I think Holly will get that.
Given that Angelina will not be working for several months to a year, more than likely, neither will Holly, meaning more bonding time with her baby than most working mothers could ever dream of. Paid maternity leave? Access to products and services that will help Holly bounce back from her pregnancy? Maybe even access to the JPs nannies when she and her husband need husband-wife time?
Face it… you need to rid yourselves of the compulsive need to feel jealous or inept when it comes to Angelina. Nothing this woman has or will do will ever have the impact on your lives that you continue to manufacture within your own warped minds.
Get some therapy!

“Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull” found a massive international treasure with $143 million at 8,300 playdates in 56 markets — the sixth biggest foreign launch of all time.
As expected due to the franchise’s worldwide recognition, “Crystal Skull” dominated in every market with all demos responding strongly. Paramount reported that the U.K. led the way with $21.5 million, following by France with $14.1 million, Germany with $12.6 million, Spain with $11.7 million, South Korea with $10 million, Australia with $9 million, Russia with $8.4 million, Italy with $6.5 million, Brazil with $5.7 million and Mexico with $4.5 million.
The offshore opening nearly matched the $144 million launch of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.” Only four other films — “Pirates of the Carribean: At World’s End,” “Spider-Man 3,” “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “The Da Vinci Code” — have posted bigger international opening weekends.
“Crystal Skull easily outperformed “Transformers,” which went on to gross nearly $400 million, in major markets such as 84% higher in the U.K., 138% better in France and 153% higher in Germany.
By contrast, Warner Bros.’ “Speed Racer” continued to crash and burn, dropping 58% to a quiet $3 million at 3,400 in 40 markets in its third frame. The high-priced tentpole has shown little traction internationally, cuming just $29.8 million from foreign markets.
