OlderHilary Duff Has Blessings in Her Backpack
Hilary Duff brings her bright smile to the “Blessings in a Backpack” event held on Thursday at Boca Raton Elementary School in Boca Raton, Florida.
Blessing in a Backpack is an organization designed to help meet the nutritional needs of children and families over weekends.
“I like to donate my time and feed people and make a difference and help people that aren’t as fortunate as me,” The Duffster, 20, said, “It’s cool to do that it’s not dumb… You come to the school and it makes it all real, you get to see the people that are taking the food home this weekend and are getting to feed their brothers and sisters at home. Bring something to the table in the family.”

I am in charge of the blessing in a backpack program at a Louisville,Kentucky Jefferson County Public School,Dunn Elementary. We are a very fortunate school to get the program. I wish you could see the children’s faces when they recieve their backpacks on Friday.
Then on Monday’s when they bring them back in to me the first thing they want to know is what’s for snack this week Ms. O.
