OlderKayCee Stroh Gets Engaged
High School Musical actress KayCee Stroh, aka pop-and-lock girl Martha Cox, got engaged to boyfriend Ben Higginson, reports People.
“We shot from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. [on Saturday], and Ben was waiting for me in my trailer,” KayCee says. “He was waiting for me with a single red rose. Then he took me up to the H Rock, a place at the top of a little mountain that overlooks Salt Lake City, and we watched the sunrise. Then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.”
KayCee is currently shooting the High School Musical 3: Senior Year in Utah with Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Monique Coleman, Corbin Bleu and Lucas Grabeel. None of her costars know about the news yet.
“They are going to be so surprised,” KayCee says. “They all love Ben. He’s like one of the gang.”
Higginson, 24, and Stroh, 23, met at a concert in 2007 and are planning a late 2008 wedding. Congrats to the happy couple!

What is wrong with you haters??? To come on a thread to say unkind things about someone who is so obviously elated over a rightfully happy event is just sick. It shows just the type people you are—never wanting anything good for anyone and never allowing yourselves to show a little happiness. Do you people not SEE how disturbing that is? Do you ever ask yourselves why you are such downers and enjoy trying to bring down what is happy and good?
KayCee is young but she is not to young for marriage. You can’t judge maturity—and that’s what it takes for a successful marrige—by a number. And what’s with the “only knowing him a year?” I met my husband and was walking down in aisle with him 6 months and 6 days later! We have been married for 24 years—when I met him I felt like I had known him forever because we knew how to communicate!
And lastly, many people care for KayCee. Maybe some of you don’t but maybe someone you care about and think is important don’t even register on someone else’s “important” list. Some of you need to understand that just because YOU don’t like the person doesn’t mean there isn’t someone who does. AND maybe, just maybe the popularity of an actor isn’t based on what you think.
Lastly, some of you need to grow up. This is a KayCee Stroh thread not a Zac/Vanessa/Zanessa one. So, if you can’t wish her well and only want to know about someone else, stay off the thread.

I have to say something. I agree with Karen and Go Sox. First of all, I want to say Kaycee is one of the most beautiful actresses. Her skin is like porcelein and her smile would light up the darkest room. I had the privledge of sitting next to Ben during filming of HSM 3. We were both extra’s and while on set she would make frequent trips over to talk to him between takes. They are totally smitten with each other. I witnessed her sweetness first hand as she made a point of talking to the extra’s and thanking us for being there. He is really a nice guy and with a funny personality, he kept us laughing during those long pauses between takes. So give these two a break and let them enjoy their moment.

#73– Oh, come on, you are one big pain and that’s your intention and you know it. The reason Zac and Vanessa get so much attention is because more people seem to like them better. At the very least, their fans are simply more vocal and want the press to know that they desire more coverage of them. If all these other people that you have mentioned don’t get the press it is because their fans aren’t being vocal and that is NOT Zac and Vanessa’s fault and they should not be belittle or demeaned because of it. Instead of coming on a thread and saying something derogatory about them, maybe you should go to one of your favorite’s threads or websites and stir up the fans there to be more supportive and vocal for that celebrity. It’s really not rocket science. You just take every opportunity to insult someone who is getting a lot of attention and who seem to have a lot of fans. It doesn’t seem to me you use any energy in doing anything but something negative.
Why do Brad and Angelina get so much attention—because their fans are behind them and vocal in wanting coverage for them. And that is where the press is going to go.
