The Jury is in For Natalie Portman
Natalie Portman attends the annual Cannes party thrown by designer pair Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana at Baoli, Port Canto during the 2008 Cannes Film Festival on Friday in Cannes, France.
The 26-year-old Cannes jury member wore a cute paillettes-embellished Lanvin shrug over her Balmain LBD and accessorized with a Chanel satin bow bag and Te Casan shoes.

Natalie is such a natural beauty, unlike anyone in Hollywood she looks wonderful with make up or without. She also has the most beautiful body among all the young actresses. She actually has the body of a beautiful professional ballet dancer. I think ballet dancers have the most beautiful bodies. As to the surgeries, I understand that Natalie Portman never had any surgeries in her life cosmetic or medically necessary. Some people are just very mean and stupid like @20.
Natalie is on the jury at Cannes because she represents the young generation of actors, and who could do it better than an Academy award nominated Harvard grad. Not only is she an A-list actress, she is also very intelligent, knowledgeable and experienced.
Not every one knows that, so may be you should read her biography first before making any ignorant comments.
If Natalie wore matching shoes she would still look gorgeous but not as much fun, I think the shoes add some cuteness and youth to the look.
I like her choice of the purse and shoes, after all, she is only 26.
Natalie could wear a paper bag with accessories by Flip-Flops and i would think she was totally beautiful!!! So I’m the last person you should ask! Did you know she will have a birthday in the first part of June? She and Paris Hilton are about the same age. Ditto Britney Spears.
This look comprises youthful elegance and fun. Love it, she is taking all kinds of chances at Cannes, which only she can pull off. What an amazing girl. A judge at Cannes at her age, can you imagine how her parents feel, I would have liked to have a daughter like that.
I don’t think the shoes go with the outfit, it looks…odd.
I love Natalie and thinks she’s so beautiful but sorry, here she looks like she’s going to the prom or worse. I think it’s the dress that’s too short and the jacket is all wrong. I like the shoes, just not with the too short dress. Poor thing

Natalie looks stunning, as always, she has a great body, the shorter and the more open the dresses, the better. Her stylist knows what they are doing.
The shoes and the jacket complement the classic dress and make it youthful and even funky. She looks beautiful.
I find her smile completely and utterly disarming, and she’s been growing on me lately. While I don’t care much for the shoes and jacket here, the dress looks divine on a petite frame. oh and the hair, loove it.
Natalie is a petite, slender woman who can pull of many outfits by designers. Now I would have chosen different shoes but, for the most part all the outfits were given to her and she makes them look exceptional. She does represent the youth actors in hollywood and since she has the intelligence and the talent this was why she was put on the jury.
I think she is the one female actress of lately I can say that doesn’t need to have a PR team call out the Paparazzi dogs to follow her around town. Unless she is doing something note worthy we dont’ get over abundance of pictures of her day to day life..I’m always happy to see her picture. Unlike some actress’s that can be media whoring just to keep their reputation alive..Natalie is the genuine artical

Did she choose the outfit or isn’t she who choose the clothes??? I thought her dress style was more simple. Finally, she wears make-up that maker look younger and let us see her wonderful, sweet and adorable features!!! I like the hair too. About the clothing, I like her better when she dress casual clothes.
Ididn’t know she is a fashion follower… that disappoint me, I hate the world of fashion, I think it’s totally superficial, vain, frivolous, hipocritical, absurd, harmful, disagreeable and dictatorial. There are very few actors in Hollywood who don’t have PR.
Gorgeous girl, but I don’t care for ruffles on her. She has a TINY frame and ruffles make her look like a little girl. But I love her though.

I believe those shoes are from her vegan line. Well, they’re not actually “hers” per say, but she worked with people who have an established collection of vegan shoes, and she had input into one line.
Natalie, do not listen to Jill @46, she has no taste, I love Dolce and Gabbana.
