OlderBrad & Angelina’s New Crib
Parents-to-be Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just purchased a 1,000-acre estate for their growing family in the south of France for $60 million according to E!.
The estate contains 35 bedrooms, a vineyard, lake, forest, moat, swimming pool, billiards room, indoor pool, gym sauna, jacuzzi, and banquet hall. Looks like enough room for the family and then some!
Brad and Angie are expecting twins sometime this summer, adding to Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, almost 2.
“It’s called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence,” a source tells E!. “And it’s absolutely unbelievable. Brad and Angelina are thrilled, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place as it’s massive,” the insider added. “They’ve already spent almost another million on furniture and the whole family can’t wait to move in.”
The Jolie-Pitt clan is reportedly hoping to move in within the next three months.

She said she is going to take a year off and be a stay at home mom, due to all of the drastic changes for her children with adoptions in 2 years.
All she did was work and drag her children from one hotel room to another.
I can’t trust a word they say. They are all talk, especially promises they won’t keep, just to enjoy the kudos and never deliver.

I read the French source of this story with my rusty French and it said they are LEASEING/RENTING THIS, NOT BUYING. Leave it to to tabs/blogs to rewrite the truth if that is even the truth.
When CNN and The New York Times reports this, I’ll believe it. Until then, it goes into the bullshit file.
Who the hell cares if this is indeed true? It’s their money and they have it to spend if they choose. Honestly, I doubt the house is worth that much, now the 100 acres? Potentially. Privacy costs and with them being as tracked as they are I wouldn’t blame them for buying the land. All that said, until/unless they confirm it’s a mute point.
Whichever the case, if true, this will just be another home for the Jolie Pitts just like LA and NO. With their lifestyle they’ll put it to use and real estate is always a great investment.

They didnt promise to move to N.O, but they do have a home there and get there when they can.
Angie said she would take a year off from making movies after she finished changling. she finished that last dec and isnt planning on doing another film this year soo how is that a lie. THIS IS THE YEAR SHE SAID SHE WOULD TAKE OFF FROM ACTING. AND SHE IS. doesnt mean she wouldnt promote her films or stay in bed the whole year./

so annoyed: Is it your money they are spending? Did they make the promises personally to you, especially Angie? Why do you act so directly involved with their spending, their work ethic, etc.? The truth is-
They said they were in NO for Brad’s movie and would be back in their home from time to time.
That is exactly what they have done. No lie here.
Angie said she would take a year off after filming Changeling and that ended in December.
Angie has not worked since December 2007, will not work this year 2008. Is that not a year or is your calendar different for these two only?

Brad has donated $5 million to NO, plus he and Angie have given money to schools and paid rent and for funerals and helped quietly in other ways. This i know from a friend who lives in NO.
They have not lied about anything re NO. They also do not tell others what to do with their lives. They are nonjudgemental which you are not.
Now how much have you given? How is what they do any business of yours?
They take their kids with them when they work like CateB, MattD, Will and JadaS, Jennifer and Ben, Kate and Tom, Goldie and Kurt, Russell Crowe, and the list is endless. Jump on all these people as well as their kids also always travel with them for work.

Sheesh, you act as if they owe you something personally LOL. Me thinks your living in an alternate universe where your thinking they are promising something to you specifically as that is the only reason you would type something like this HAHAHA
1. They get to and stay in New Orleans when their work schedules allow. Hard to be there when Brad has to work in New York, LA, and Smithville Texas. Is Angie supposed to go there and hang back while Brad works in other places? They’ve said they don’t separate their family and travel together.
2. Isn’t it true Angelina hasn’t stepped on a movie set since December? If so, how has she violated her ‘vow’ to take off for a year? She hasn’t ‘worked’ since her last film late last year. Since then the only thing she’s done is a few interviews for her upcoming movies. She doesn’t have any film work slated for this year (AS is not starting until next year, if it even does then). WTF are you talking about? LOL
Are they humanitarians only when a movie is coming and they need to promote it?
There have been 2 gigantic natural disasters in Asia, and regular people have donated money to help, and these two fake “HUMANITARIANS” are buying a castle with a lake and a forest?

Nah, I don’t believe this…if it is true, then they could never fund-raise and be taken seriously…could you imagine heating and cooling cost on a mommafooka this size?…maintenance and upkeep?…It would be the single most worse investment to pay such a price with their humanitarian and environmentally efforts…not to mention too much to drop on a single property even with their combined incomes…now, if they could get the property for say for a third of that then, that would be better even though the other cost will eat them up…after all, they aren’t billionaires…I don’t seriously see them put that many eggs in one basket…umpf!

Remember when Brad and Angelina were first pregnant with shiloh and they stayed in this squalid 1200 sq feet apartment in Paris which smelt of cabbages because Angelina felt guilty and wanted to save money and how Brad was soooo unhappy? Seems like Brad won that battle and now they are super deluxe.
Out of curiousity, I google mapped Chateau Miraval. It’s a lovely chateau with vineyard that grows organic grapes and produces wines.

After she renamed the 3.5 old boy “Pax”, and forced him to be photographed at the hotel right after she adopted him and got money from People for that, she promised she would only attend to her children and take a year off.
She went on to make 3 movies during that year, the movies are going to come out soon (Wanted, The Changeling, and that animated film with Panda…).
Angelina lies and puts her career first while nannies are raising her children that don’t get any sense of stability since she is always dragging them for her work and pleasures.
it’s funny how brangelina fans say “it’s their money, they can do whatever they want with it” and then back them up for some obvsiously excessive money spending.
And then they curse maniston for not using her money to do good (like their god, angelina).
So, isn’t it maniston’s money? Shouldn’t she do whatever she wants with it without having people scream at her for “not donating”
