OlderBrad & Angelina’s New Crib
Parents-to-be Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just purchased a 1,000-acre estate for their growing family in the south of France for $60 million according to E!.
The estate contains 35 bedrooms, a vineyard, lake, forest, moat, swimming pool, billiards room, indoor pool, gym sauna, jacuzzi, and banquet hall. Looks like enough room for the family and then some!
Brad and Angie are expecting twins sometime this summer, adding to Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, almost 2.
“It’s called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence,” a source tells E!. “And it’s absolutely unbelievable. Brad and Angelina are thrilled, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place as it’s massive,” the insider added. “They’ve already spent almost another million on furniture and the whole family can’t wait to move in.”
The Jolie-Pitt clan is reportedly hoping to move in within the next three months.

Unless the JPs are starting a school or planning a bed and breakfast like Tori Spelling, I don’t think so. This is one rumor that will be shot down by Cindy G if Brad hadn’t gone on hiatus.
Won’t believe this until I get invited to the house blessing and have had a chance to tour the place. No sirreee. I’m not that gullible, I think.
35 bedrooms, huh? We’ve got local hotels with fewer bedrooms…
I still don’t believe this story. It makes no sense for them to waste $60MIL for a property that huge in France unless they’re planning to live there full-time, which I can’t see them doing. Rent it for a few years? Maybe. Purchase? No.

Now that Cannes festival is over, we will be in a drought of any Jolie-Pitt sightings!! I think they’re going to stay low until the babies are born. I also don’t believe the $60 million estate that JJ just posted. That’s an absurd of money!!! Like everyone said in earlier posts, I believe it when it confirms by well known sources.
This is way too ostentatious for them… not their style. I’ll be surprised if its true. Also it is too isolated for the kids.
Ok, so these two..especially her are all about helping the less fortunate and doing charity stuff but they buy a 60 million dollar home?? Who needs a 60million dollar home?? Nobody does. You could go cheaper and still get something amazing and have so much left over to help the people they supposedly care about. It just seems wasteful and selfish.
I’m not really into or against Brad or Angelina but this story just struck me as a wee bit hypocritical and wasteful.
Also, I know he’s well paid.. like grossly over paid but I don’t think she makes 20million per picture like most of these well known people who play dress up and pretend for a living. Just wondering who actually paid for this place and how.
I have never watched Brad’s interview for OC13 until last night.I watched his interviews during Cannes.
and there was an interview in SimplyBrad which was weird.when he was giving interview with Don to that woman from Access Hollywood.at one point near the end,he just got stunned.he didn’t move,look straight at one place,suddenly his face changed,it was like he shocked and stunned for minutes.
have you guys seen it?was he on any kind of drugs at that time.it was seriously the most weird thing I have ever seen,the way he suddenly stunned was so weird.
I just wonder how these people don’t go blind form the flashes. I took a look at all these photos from Cannes and other past photos. Basically, Jolie & Pitt have flashes in their faces all the time, even more so on red carpet days/ other events without sunglasses. How do you go to these red carpet & other events, or even a restaurant or museum (which are usually in the evenings and nights) so often in your life and protect your eyes?

Angie made 2 movies in 2007, Wanted and Changeling, she worked a total of 4 months.
KFP was made in 2006, Angie did a week of voice over work.
Most people rename their adopted children as it is a way of making them part of the family. Do some research and find facts before opening your mouth and letting ignorance out. Meg Ryan renamed her daughter twice after adopting her, where is your fake outrage over that?
Their children have both a mother and a father. Just because you want to ignore that reality, pretend Brad is not an equal part of the family, does not change the truth. It was Brad who told Larry King in Dec 2007, their rule is the family stays together, while one parent works the other stays with the kids, and that is exactly what has happened since they got together in 2005. They take turns working unlike many couples who forge ahead with their career regardless of what it does to the family.

ROTFL. This is really starting to look like the same story from last summer after they vacationed in France. Remember when all the tabs were saying they’d bought a vineyard? That was a bunch of BS then and it is now. Hell, I think it may be the same property, but I’m too lazy to do the research on it. All I remember is that the property had a vineyard and was in/near Aix-en-Provence…just like this property.

I highly doubt they plunked down $60MIL for this piece of property. Together they’re probably worth in the neighborhood of $250MIL - with $200MIL of that being Brad’s money. And it’s not like that’s all in cash. He would most likely have to sell other properties and businesses to raise that kind of cash…or take out a loan. And I can’t see either of them, with 6 kids, more in the furture, charities to support, etc., putting 1/4 of their assets in one property. That’s not sound business sense because if they wanted to sell it in the future - who’s going to buy it? LOL. This whole story is stupid. LIke I said earlier - leasing it? Maybe for the duration of the summer, not long-term…and definitely not purchasing…

This is silly nonsense, pointless. We should boycott it.
