OlderBrad & Angelina’s New Crib
Parents-to-be Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have just purchased a 1,000-acre estate for their growing family in the south of France for $60 million according to E!.
The estate contains 35 bedrooms, a vineyard, lake, forest, moat, swimming pool, billiards room, indoor pool, gym sauna, jacuzzi, and banquet hall. Looks like enough room for the family and then some!
Brad and Angie are expecting twins sometime this summer, adding to Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, almost 2.
“It’s called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence,” a source tells E!. “And it’s absolutely unbelievable. Brad and Angelina are thrilled, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place as it’s massive,” the insider added. “They’ve already spent almost another million on furniture and the whole family can’t wait to move in.”
The Jolie-Pitt clan is reportedly hoping to move in within the next three months.

I know they’re rich but are they that rich? I would think the high cost of living in this place only STARTS at the purchase price. The upkeep, staff, insurance, etc. and not to mention the taxes gotta be a killer for anyone but the VERY rich. —If— this story is true it means they are tied even more tighter together than ever. They must have a lot of faith in each other for this kind of commitment. I would the like the story to be true but…… I don’t believe it.

You are so wrong. This does not sound like either of them. Brad has paid cash for his properties in the past. The most expensive house he ever bought was the Malibu home (not counting the BHills home he and the X bought and he renovated for 2 years and then moved out of ASAP, even that home they split the profit on as Brad’s agent was the one who found a buyer for that big empty house).
The compund where Brad and Angie and family live in Los Feliz (LA) is composed of 3 modest now renovated homes Brad purchased before he married the X and she refused to live there. Brad made a statement a couple of weeks ago when a parking situation arose near those homes, and said he had lived there off and on since 1996. Their compound is not in ritzy BHills or BelAir like TomC’s $35 million new home.
Brad has been frugal with home purchases as has Angie.

Brad Pitt Benjamin Button trailer out, Jolie’s video leak anger
THE first movie trailer for Brad Pitt’s new film, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, has surfaced on the internet, amid talk of the film to be a future contender for an Oscar.
The film sees Pitt as an 80-year-old man, who falls in love with a woman played by Cate Blanchett.
The trailer comes as Angelina Jolie is said to be upset after a video of her in a New York drug den discussing her experiences with drugs and admitting that she killed her childhood pets was last week exposed by a British tabloid.
The actress, who recently confirmed that shes pregnant with twins; and is currently in Cannes to promote her new childrens film Kung Fu Panda, has previously admitted to to trying everything from cocaine to ecstasy, LSD and heroin.
And the tape, which is alleged to have been taken eight years ago, has brought back some pretty unpleasant memories for the Hollywood superstar.
Jolies partner, Brad Pitt, was, until last week, unaware of the tapes existence.
A source said: “The timing couldnt be worse, particularly as shes here to talk about a kids film. We have known for a while that this video has been on the market and it seemed like the threat of it being released had gone away.”
“But the people who have put it out obviously decided that it would do Angie most damage when she was on show in Cannes. Its not like she can just cancel everything, because she is contractually obliged to do PR for her new movies.”
It is a part of her life she doesnt want to be associated with. To be perfectly honest, the whole thing has brought back some pretty unpleasant memories.
Remember the big lie about them purchasing the big dollar $$ suite at the Waldorf in NYC when they stayed there last year while Brad made BAR? This lie is the same crappy trash.

As it turns out it wasn’t so difficult to find the name of the French estate they were supposedly buying last summer. I just went through Jared’s old links. This is a different property. The last one was called Chateau Val Joanis.

However…this is not to be confused with the estate that all the tabs said they were buying before they went to France. I can’t remember the name of that place. But it turned out to be owned by an elderly couple and it wasn’t even on the market! That one was a few hundred years old and part of the basement was actually caves for storing wine…

The reason I don’t think Brad and Angelina would buy such an expensive property now is because the Euro is at its highest exchange rate compared to the Dollar, and even though real estate properties have gone down a bit, they are still high. Only the filthy rich can afford to buy real estate in Euro, while they are paid in Dollars. Brad is not that rich, nor is he so dumb in doing business. So, I don’t think they bought the place or paid that much for it. Time will tell. Like Angelina said, everywhere Brad goes, people think he is buying a house. LOL
