OlderVanessa Hudgen’s “Identified” — FIRST REVIEW
Entertainment Weekly has the first look at Vanessa Hudgens‘ sophomore release, Identified, out July 1.
“[The album] is definitely sophisticated,” Vanessa says. “But it’s also funky and fun–something that I would, like, actually listen to.”
Here’s what EW had to say about three of the album’s tracks:
“Sneakernight” — The thumping first single “is a fun song about hanging out with your girlfriends and wearing sneakers,” says Hudgens, who’s no stranger to stiletto-induced red-carpet cramps. “When I show the video, I was like, ‘I cannot believe I’m wearing sneakers for the first time in a music video!’ It was awesome.”
“First Bad Habit” — Hudgens enlisted producer Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson, Pink) to pump synths into this sassy anthem “about when you like a hug so much but know he’s a complete a–hole.” Is said rapscallion like any particular man in her life? “It hasn’t happened to me, but a lot of my friends have gone through so much crap.”
“Gone with the Wind” — “And now I’m standing my ground/And who I am/For that I’m proud,” she declares in this stripped-down ballad. “I just kind of went for it…. The song basically means: I know a lot more, and that timidness and naïveté is gone with the wind.”

I also thought it was great when Ashley praised Zac and Vanessa on their SONGS for HSM3. So, it would seem that all we have heard about the song list for the movie is bogus since i don’t think there was but one song listed with Zac and Vanessa. It is good to know the movie will have more than just one song with our leading couple.
So happy to hear that too Karen. I can’t wait to hear the songs, especially the ones with Zac and Vanessa. They are always my favorites . Love to watch the rehearsals in the studios of them recording their duets too.
Well, the FAKE list that has been floating around did not have “A Night to Remember” or “Now or Never” on it. Yet, the fake one has already been published in magazines as the gospel truth.
Interesting how magazines grab at anything they find on a blog site. Just look at the Brad and Angelina story–having their twins and naming them. Some rag picked that up from a blog speculation.

I saw the ZA info, but I thought Radio Disney would update their Top 30 page on Monday, the 26th, but they didn’t.
They’ve had the same info up since Monday, the 19th.
I could be wrong of course, but I think they updated it on the 24th and the countdown is where the songs ends at the end of the previous week so it says the 19th. They will update this Monday and say it is for the week of the 24th. But like I said I could be wrong.
