OlderVanessa Hudgen’s “Identified” — FIRST REVIEW
Entertainment Weekly has the first look at Vanessa Hudgens‘ sophomore release, Identified, out July 1.
“[The album] is definitely sophisticated,” Vanessa says. “But it’s also funky and fun–something that I would, like, actually listen to.”
Here’s what EW had to say about three of the album’s tracks:
“Sneakernight” — The thumping first single “is a fun song about hanging out with your girlfriends and wearing sneakers,” says Hudgens, who’s no stranger to stiletto-induced red-carpet cramps. “When I show the video, I was like, ‘I cannot believe I’m wearing sneakers for the first time in a music video!’ It was awesome.”
“First Bad Habit” — Hudgens enlisted producer Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson, Pink) to pump synths into this sassy anthem “about when you like a hug so much but know he’s a complete a–hole.” Is said rapscallion like any particular man in her life? “It hasn’t happened to me, but a lot of my friends have gone through so much crap.”
“Gone with the Wind” — “And now I’m standing my ground/And who I am/For that I’m proud,” she declares in this stripped-down ballad. “I just kind of went for it…. The song basically means: I know a lot more, and that timidness and naïveté is gone with the wind.”

9:28 p.m. — An impromptu “High School” reunion backstage, as a grinning Zac Efron came off stage with his popcorn in hand, showing it to his “Hairspray” director Adam Shankman. Just then, Efron caught sight of Vanessa Hudgens running up to give him a hug. “I was so freaked out!” Efron told her about being on stage. Handing Vanessa his golden popcorn trophy, he said “Check it out,” to which she replied, “It’s not as heavy as I thought.”
So they didn’t come together?

Okay, I’m assuming that some of you can’t read.

This is after he GOT the award. Vanessa WAS NOT on stage with him when he got the award. She-did-not-go-on-stage-with-him. When he is coming off stage, Vanessa runs up to him.
Did you all who are asking if they came together not SEE them sitting together in the audience. It’s called putting two and two together. Or a simpler word, LOGIC.

Didn’t you watch the links to the videos? One of them shows Zac and Vanessa sitting together before his award was ever announced and one video shows when he was announced and Vanessa giving him a quick kiss on the cheek (and he put his hand on her knee and gave her a little squeeze) all this before he got up and went to the stage to accept his award. So, yes, they were definitely together.

I still don’t quite understand how people can not see that Zac and Vanessa went together?!? And was it just me who got annoyed by Nikki shouting ‘I LOVE YOU ZACCY!’ ? Seriously, I love her, I really do, it’s just Zaccy? I mean please! She doesn’t even date him. I seriously need to get help with that!!!

Have to say Nikki’s ‘ I love you Zaccy’ kind buged me too, I mean for goodness sake he is a 20 year old man not a child, so to call him Zaccy just did’nt feel or sound right to me.
Loved the subtle affection they showed each other before Zac went on stage Vanessa’s kiss and beaming face of pride for her man and his gentle touch of her knee and also beaing face,Zanessa at it’s best.
