OlderVanessa Hudgen’s “Identified” — FIRST REVIEW
Entertainment Weekly has the first look at Vanessa Hudgens‘ sophomore release, Identified, out July 1.
“[The album] is definitely sophisticated,” Vanessa says. “But it’s also funky and fun–something that I would, like, actually listen to.”
Here’s what EW had to say about three of the album’s tracks:
“Sneakernight” — The thumping first single “is a fun song about hanging out with your girlfriends and wearing sneakers,” says Hudgens, who’s no stranger to stiletto-induced red-carpet cramps. “When I show the video, I was like, ‘I cannot believe I’m wearing sneakers for the first time in a music video!’ It was awesome.”
“First Bad Habit” — Hudgens enlisted producer Dr. Luke (Kelly Clarkson, Pink) to pump synths into this sassy anthem “about when you like a hug so much but know he’s a complete a–hole.” Is said rapscallion like any particular man in her life? “It hasn’t happened to me, but a lot of my friends have gone through so much crap.”
“Gone with the Wind” — “And now I’m standing my ground/And who I am/For that I’m proud,” she declares in this stripped-down ballad. “I just kind of went for it…. The song basically means: I know a lot more, and that timidness and naïveté is gone with the wind.”

Hi, Boji!! Haven’t met up with you here in ages! Hope all is well, and so sorry about your good friend. I worked with oncology patients for a long time, and they’ve come a long way in breast cancer treatment!! I know you’ll be there for her, and that’s so important!!
#137, what do you base your comments on? Don’t see ANYTHING about her that warrants such stupid remarks. Having some creep steal a picture and splashing it around doesn’t make her one. And I’d say having ONE boyfriend, dressing always appropriately, and not getting high and drunk every night CERTAINLY doesn’t make her one either. You must not know the definition then.
vanessa always behaves like a true lady. that’s why I refer to her as lady vanessa. and she’s only 19.

#114 When you have four posts in a row worded almost exactly the same way it’s a a fair indication that it’s 1 or two people posting under multiple screennames and yes I would be willing to bet that’s the case this time.
And to answer your question I can honestly say I don HATE anybody. Hate is a destructive and useless emotion that often harms the hater more then then hatee. Life is too short for that.
But if hatred did have any value I certainly wouldn’t direct it toward a celebrity that has done ABSOLUTELY nothing to me or those I care about.
Think about it.

I’m just happy that her album is getting showcase in EW and Blender.
The songs sound more mature which is what she wanted to achieve with this second album. Keep the Vanessa threads coming JJ, I for one will support you.

Hi Fans! Go Sox, Boji and the rest.
Yeah it looks like school is out. The haters are in full bloom as well. The way they run Nessa down you would think she committed a federal crime. She made one mistake, which she said she was sorry for. She, as well as others in this great big world will continue to make mistakes until we leave this walk of life. I know it is hard for some people to accept that they are not perfect, but I’m here to tell them they are not, SORRY!
Vanessa and Zac are good young adults that have worked hard to get where they are through much adversity and handled it with love and respect for each other and their fans. They help other charities, and have visited kids that are sick. They did this because they care and not just because they have to.
If you don’t like them all you have to do is leave. Someone has already said by being here and leaving your commits, though bad and disrespectful, you are making her more popular!

A belated hi to Angels Go Sox and tealeaf. I was expecting to see a new thread or some news of our HSM 3 but all I get is 2 posts of Ashley out and about in California. I wonder what the emergency was about, anyone any idea?
Go Sox, thanks for sharing. My friend’s had her op.Now she’s seeking consultation from 4 diff. Oncologists just to make sure and for the most effective treatment. She’s very cautious. This incident has been a wake up call for me, I really should appreciate life and what God has given me and stop my grouching. There are people in much worse positions and situations than I’m in.
The interview with David Cook on Larry King Live, has endeared me to him. He’s such a humble and appreciative person, so down to earth like our fav. couple. His not wanting votes based on sympathy got to me.
Back to Vanessa, I have to wait till her album comes over here for sales. July seems so far away. All you fans who get to see her in concert pls give your account of the event on JJ and share with the rest of us, thank you.
You know, it isn’t just Vanessa and Zac threads that the haters post comments on. Since Zac and Vanessa threads are the only ones I ever visit, I decided to look at comments on some of the other star threads. What I found was interesting–the same nasty, hateful comments are there, too.
These sad souls who jump from one thread to another saying the same thing: someone is too ugly, too fat, too skinny, has no talent . . .
They have no love inside them to give. They have only bitterness and anger and a LOT of free time to spread that venom.
