David Cook Rocks the Big Apple

Keep us updated with David Cook pics and news because we love him, or at least I do. He is a very talented guy who not only can carry a tune, but he’s also quite eloquent and funny. He’s gorgeous, so JUST JARED, I hope you post a lot of him.

Maybe the Davids are together because they actually LIKE each other. ( Or because they LOVE each other) Being the true fan that you are, surely you saw the moment after when Cook hugged Archuleta and told him that he loved him. In the interview he told what he said to him and said that he had the big brother thing going on with him. Maybe he is getting so many interviews because he was a frontrunner throughout the ENTIRE competition. And because of his HUGE fanbase!!!!! If you would watch ALL of the interviews you would see how articulate David Archuleta really is. He has come such a long was since the beginning of this thing. How sad to degrade a 17 yr old boy that has worked so incredibly hard to get where he is….and he is sooooooo deserving. If you are such a fan of Cook’s, maybe you could listen to him talk about Archuleta. He said “How can you hate this face?” He LOVES this guy. Yes, well maybe he is still a little shy and laughs while he talks (I find this quite adorable) but he know what he wants and what he says makes total sense. He is so mature for 17 and just gets better as the days go by. Not to mention his singing voice…..WOW… he is AMAZING. David Cook said that after Archuletas performances the final night, he had conceded to take second. I was going to look up the video, but you can do it yourself. He also said that David Archuleta “has more talent at 17 than I (Cook) know what to do with at 25. “You might want to check out some of his interviews and listen to him speak of the respect that he has for this young man. I have always been an Archuleta fan, but enjoy Cook very much also. After seeing and hearing Cook talk about the other idols with so much true respect, I respect him so much more. Too bad some of his fans don’t follow his example. I have tickets to see the top 10 on tour and I can’t wait. They are all wonderful and I hope that everyone of them finds success in their careers. CONGRATS TO YOU ALL! They will have a great summer, they all get along so well and will be great to watch….FUN!! This is truly the best to 10 EVER :)

If David Cook starts hooking up with every bimbo in Hollywood, he’s bound to lose some fans. He shd just keep singing.

maybe cook should take a lesson from Archie’s book…he doesn’t want to have a girlfriend yet because he wants to focus on his music and career and he knows a relationship would get in the way of that. I remember KC from season 2 of AI and she came off as being one of those “mean girls”. Maybe she’s grown up since then, but hey FIRST IMPRESSIONS are hard to overcome!

To TJ:
“I think much of DC is an act, but he carried it out so well on the show, he deserved to win over DA who just seems unready for the wild world of showbiz (he’s hugely talented though and should suceed inthe future). Starting out geeky with greasy hair and a lame song like “Happy Together”, he knew how to build himself up, shedding those extra pounds (his idol-mates did say he worked out a lot and did you see his demo video for Analog Heart from 2 years ago where he looks almost exactly as he does now, hmmm) and jolting us with “Hello” and “Billie Jean” at the perfect moments in the season. Let’s not forget the tears on the finals after singing “The World I Know”. Perfect! He won our hearts and made us vote 4 hours straight, good thing his musical talent makes him deserving.”

See, I really don’t feel like any of it WAS an act. Alright, the make-over I suppose I can kind of understand where you’re coming from, but I feel like that was more just that he genuinely got to the show, realized he could benifit from a bit of a make-over and working out, so he did it. haha. There prob wasn’t much “calculation” in that. And as for the crying after TWIK, that DEF had NOTHING to do with trying to get votes. Some of it MAY have had to do with just being in that moment sorrounded by so many people, but I think that 95% of that emotion was due to the fact that his brother Adam was there, when he had not been expected to be able to make it before. So for THAT reason it was an extremely, extremely emotional thing for him. Just had to get that out there :)

As for him and Kimberly? Well, okay, I’d be lying if I said I WANTED them to have a long term relationship, but honestly, let the guy have some fun! He’s 25, gorgeous, and single- LET him date a hot chick or two simply for the sake of getting some if that’s what he wants to do! :) And if it ends up being more than that (which I have a feeling it wont), well then I trust his judgment, and maybe she really is a pretty cool girl! I just think it’s so silly to be getting all upset over this. They’ve gone out on ONE dinner date so far! It’s NOTHING serious as of now haha
