Jake & Reese are a Luxxe Couple
Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal pick up their morning drinks at Caffe Luxxe on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, California on Sunday.
Gyllenspoon seemed in very good spirits, holding hands and smiling all the way back to their car.

Here’s part of the text from the link I posted:
“During an interview with the Daily Mail, Jake Gyllenhaal was asked who he would like to be stuck in an elevator with? He answered, “I know this isn’t quite the same, but I was stuck in a women’s bathroom once with Susan Sarandon. She was interviewing me for a magazine and we couldn’t find a battery for our recording device,
so we ended up in a women’s bathroom. I discovered two things that day: that the floor in a women’s bathroom is colder than the floor in the men’s. And believe me I’ve spent a lot of time on the floor of a men’s bathroom so I should know!”
Well he was comparing being IN a women’s bathroom with being in a Men’s bathroom. In neither case was he lying on the floor. Why would he be lying on the floor during an interview? You are putting a silly and wrong spin on the quote. If Jake were a drunk we’d be seeing lots more pictures of him intoxicated. As Ivana said, the only picture is one of him at a pre-Oscar’s party. I’d probably get a bit loaded too if I had been nominated for an Oscar. He split from Cunst almost certainly because of her drinking.

I read the interview Susan did with him a few years ago and as far as I remember they were sitting on the floor while doing the interview.
How do you interprete his quote :”And believe me I’ve spent a lot of time on the floor of a men’s bathroom so I should know!” ?
I never said he was an alcoholic! But thinking the only time he was drunk was during the pre Oscar party is quite naive.
If he were a drinker we’d know about it by now. Face it, he isn’t. What is odd is why his relationship to La Witherspoon doesn’t shift into second gear. He either needs to marry her or get her with child or we’ll begin to think it’s a fake romance. Or she might just like to have a gay guy as a friend who won’t put any sexual pressure on her. Getting a bit strange however, this relationship that never goes anywhere.

Compare it to photos of him now and you can see he has probably had plastic surgery on his nosey nose nose.
He’s nose looks little bit deformed, because of his weird face..
To compare his nose before and after, you need to look his profile…
By the way, we all have ugly noses, when we laugh, make grimace or something else…
Chris, once again you are ridiculous. There are plenty of HW relationships that don’t have children or marriage that seem real. And there are plenty that do have kids and marriage that seem fake. Jake and Reese haven’t even been together that long. As for the supposed work on his nose, who cares, he looks great now and dorky cute then. So what.

I don’t think he had a nose job. If he had, it was unnecessary, his nose looked just fine.
Chris is right. If you look closely he has had a nose job. Not a big one, but his nose has been slimmed down a bit and shaped up.
He is also right about this relationship. It is going on too long without getting anywhere. That lends credence to the idea it is a showmance that serves the purposes of each. She shows her ex that she doesn’t need him and Jake has a nice beard without much effort. I have no doubt that they enjoy each other’s company, just not in bed.

Since this relationship isn’t going anywhere I have to think it is a showmance. It’s there to be seen, for various reasons. Not to say that they don’t like each other’s company. I think they do. Just that this isn’t leading to marriage or kids or much of anything else. It does help put to rest rumors about Jake’s sexuality. That’s what he gets out of it. And she shows the world and her ex that she can move on and find male company without a problem. That’s what’s in it for her.
