Sarah Jessica Parker dazzles in a strapless silver Nina Ricci gown at the Sex And The City premiere at Radio City Music Hall on Tuesday in New York City.

Forbes just interview SJP about the fashion choices of the show having a massive impact on the success of many companies. On how SATC picks the fashions and the products, SJP said, “We always have tried to be very consistent with Carrie Bradshaw. There was a time when I was a less modest dresser. When you’re off the market, you also change. It’s more refined. In this movie, it’s a higher-end designer look, but it’s still mixed with a $3 skirt or a tutu. I didn’t think about labels.”

Yeah whatever…….that dress is awful. It looks like it’s made from tinsel from an 80’s Christmas tree. I don’t get most of of her ugly clothes. Just because ridiculous pieces are put together and is called fashionable doesn’t mean that it looks good. Case in point., the dress with the weird flower/feather headpiece. Awful!

This is a very ‘fashion’ gown. Definitely for a red carpet black tie premiere. it’s not for the local Junior League banquet.

To carry off a gown like this, one needs a pulled back hair style, not long stringy hair in the face. I’m not so sure Sarah really understands fashion at all. She’s just the product of a stylist (not a good one) and wardrobe people dressing her for years.. In candid shots she is always in jeans or cords and sweatshirts. Nothing wrong with that, but I think she’s more comfortable that way. Some people are made to wear couture and fancy designer wear, she’s just not one of these people.

The dress is stunning. She looks wonderful, hair and all. I have to disagree with #12, she was absolutely made to wear couture and fancy dress wear. She may choose not to wear it every singe day but other than being petite, she has the perfect body to pull off those looks.

to answer kc,i don’t think she had breats implants…i’m a longtime fan of “sex & the city”,and it appears that she has really nice and natural breats…i don’t understand why people find her ugly,she’s really fabulous,and she’s got something that give her beauty:charm.

I feel so bad for her, socialite Lauren Davis wore this dress to the MET gala only like 3 weeks ago!!!! If you’re premiering one of the the biggest and most stylish and fashion forward movies of the year you don’t want to be the 2nd person to wear your dress!!!!!!
