Just finished reading an article about how obesity amongst children in America is stabilising in the New York times.

The most recent data is based on two surveys — one in 2003 to 2004 and one in 2005 to 2006 — that included 8,165 children ages 2 to 19. In that group, about 16 percent of children and teenagers were obese, which is defined as having a body mass index at or above the 95th percentile on United States growth charts.

Estimates for the number of children who fall into the overweight or obese category also have remained stable at about 32 percent since 1999.

Isn’t it amazing that after being told by Lies and Shlt or outta touch or whatever tablie that the Jolie Pitt Children can eat what ever junk food they want for break fast/all day long, none of them are remotely even over weight??

Isn’t it amazing that there are people who still BUY these tablies??

See, when you go after children, it says more about you and the kind of person you are than it does about us fans. So, keep on enjoying yourself, you’ll get your reward one day. ;)

I was at CBB and saw this article about Chris O’Donnell traveling coach with his family. I found it interesting that he has 5 kids all under the age of 10: 8 and1/2, 7 and1/2, 4 and1/2, 2 and 5 months. Isn’t it funny that he is never criticized or made fun of like the Jolie-Pitts are because he has a large family?

For some reason this really aroused my curiosity, so I looked up some other celebs who have adopted. Specifically I was looking for ones with 3 adopted children (same as the Jolie-Pitts). Sharon Stone has 3 adopted boys, born and adopted in 2000, 2005 and 2006. Rosie O’Donnell has 3 adopted children born in 1995, 1997, 1999 and one born to her partner in 2002. George Lucas also adopted 3 children in 1981(daughter), 1988 (daughter) and 1993(son). Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw have a total of 7 children between them, 3 of whom are adopted. Kate Capshaw actually adopted one of them before her marriage to Spielberg, who subsequently adopted him.

Of all these celebrities, Angelina get the most criticism. She gets accused of being a serial baby adopter (wtf does that even mean?) and using children to “self-medicate”. Can the same not be said of these other parents? She gets vilified by those in the media and public yet Brad gets kudos for parenting the same children! Is he not a serial adopter as well for adopting Mad, Pax and Zee? I am not trying to criticize Brad. I just want to point out the double standard that exists.

I think the problem for some in the media and public lies in the origins of the adopted Jolie-Pitt children. They show these children no consideration whatsoever. It’s almost as though they are some exotic pets that Angie and Brad have taken in and are looking after. I’ll bet if they had adopted children from some poor Eastern European countries, there wouldn’t be such a hue and cry about the size of their family and how fast it is growing.

Happy 2nd Birthday to the littlest Jolie-Pitt (at the moment) SHILOH! You are truly blessed because of your family.
