Heidi Montag Wedding in the Works

Even though The Hills is on summer hiatus, the show’s feminist hero Heidi Montag is still newsworthy enough to make it on the latest cover of Us Weekly.

Ms. Montag called off her wedding last year but–SURPRISE!–she’s changed her mind.

“I’m ready to marry Spencer,” the 21-year-old fashion designer says. “He’s my soulmate.”

“Heidi read me biblical passages like ‘Honor thy wife,’” says future on-again fiance Spencer Pratt.

The new season of The Hills premieres in August with 19 new episodes.

The nytimes called her a feminist hero in a tounge in cheek way when “she was climbing up the corporate ladder” while spencer was at home decorating their appartment like a video arcade. Anyway, she makes me want to vomit. I know she thinks its great to be famous, but I would rather be nonfamous than be famously wack.

Really. I’m sorry, but somehow I can’t imagine Heidi reading biblical passages from a bible, to her sweetheart that she likes. That is lame. And her ” soulmate”? Every soulmate says that. Kate Hudson said it about Owen Wilson. Lance Armstrong said it about Ms. Crow. Where are these ” soul mates” now? That is such an empty pharse …..over-used-hollywood term, that they need to find something else to use for awhile. We will see if they make it up to the altar. I give it less than 6 months.
