OlderAngelina Jolie - “Vanity Fair” July 2008
Angelina Jolie looks lip-smackingly good on the the July 2008 cover issue of Vanity Fair, out next week. Here’s a preview:
On being pregnant with twins: “I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depend-ing on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.”
On her international family: “When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn’t have parents. It’s not a humanitarian thing, because I don’t see it as a sacrifice. It’s a gift. We’re all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh—because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little—and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’ I suppose I’m giving them the childhood I always wished I had.”
On daughter Shiloh’s birth: “We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing…. I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.”
On nannies never sleeping over: “We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher—wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Bel-gium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.”
On artists as parents: “Artists raise their kids differently,” she said. “We communicate to the point where we probably annoy our children. We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It’s what we love. So I think you can see how artists in some way raise other artists.”

God send me an angel. She made me a video using Brad & Angie’s pictures .. she told me the song lyrics she used is what she feels towards me >> I love it… I feel this morning God send me a daughter I ‘d been longing for. She is young Brad & Angelina fan.
She is teaching me how to download softwares ,installing and how to use it to update my videomaking.techniques. She is a valedictorian student.. & she would like to be a lawyer.. I told her I prefer a doctor so she can come to USA and be my daughter.. I am so proud of her.. I let her call me “Tita Char”. “Tita or Ate” means respect towards a person older tahn you. For 18 and under I ask them to call me “Tita Char”, for 18 and above ” Ate Char” and for 40 years and above ” Char ” :smile:

Only AJ can cause troll(s) to have meltdowns, seek therapy or go from blog to blog ranting. AJ is just a woman living her life. She can’t help that she is a beautiful woman. However, she is also a compassionate, maternal, committed and caring woman. It is not all about the outward appearance but what makes up the inside also. You can only live and learn in this life, making mistakes along the way. I guess troll(s) have not figured that out yet since they are all about PR driven “girl next door” images. Peace to all.

I remember what French actress Marion Cotillard said about Angie:
“There’s an amazing positive energy that comes out of this woman. She has such a wonderful aura.”
Angie is such a beauty inside & out that she never fails to amaze both who do like her or don’t (like the trollers or haters). People who do not like her would not admit the kind of POSITIVE AFFECT Angie has on them. They just won’t admit that she simply fascinates them otherwise why they keep on looking at her threads. is that their way of showing their hate to her??? They didn’t realize that Angie doesn’t care whether she is being hated or liked. As what she said before, she rather be hated for who she is than to be loved for whom she is not.
Fortunately, a lot of people is taking notice & admire Angie more of what makes her more fascinating.

She’s an artist. Actors/actresses always consider themselves artists. Doesn’t mean they have to paint you know. Why don’t you go to Paltrow’s thread and criticize her for calling herself an artist as well.
What have you done besides taking up precious resources of the earth? Her giving millions to charities is doing a great deal of good. Getting praised by critics for some of her movies (two in the last year and a half), getting respect for her work for UN, being loved by her significant other and children are some other few. And most of all, turning her life around, change for the better is worth admiring and respecting. Unlike someone like you who probably likes to claim “I have never changed”. Well, good for your stagnant self.
And just because you don’t like the movies she did doesn’t mean they are all bad. An Oscar is an Oscar. So what if she played her “psycho” self in that movie. I bet if you are put in front of the camera and hundred of people to act, you couldn’t act out your psycho self lest being judged psychotic. Hell, when you are in front of a boy you like you couldn’t even be yourself. And when you finally showed your true self, the boy ran away so quickly. Is that why you are so bitter about another woman and go to the Internet where your true self can shown but your face is be hidden to unleash your unpleasant self?
And by the way Amber, I’m not a fan of Angelina, just one who intensely dislike people, particularly women, who keeps digging into another’s woman’s past to judge her present.
