Plot summer via Wiki: John Malkovich plays Ozzie Cox, a CIA vet who is fired because he is an alcoholic. He takes his revenge by writing some inflammatory memoirs. Cox’s soon-to-be ex-wife Katie (Tilda Swinton) steals the disc containing his memoirs and accidentally leaves it at the gym where it is found by a trainer, Chad Feldheimer (Pitt) and the gym’s owner, Linda Litzke (Frances McDormand). They believe they can use the info to blackmail Cox. Harry Pfarrer (Clooney) is an oversexed, fanatically fit, lactose-intolerant federal marshal who is sleeping with Cox’s wife. He meets Linda via an online dating service and gets entangled in the blackmail scheme, when he stumbles across Chad breaking into his and Katie’s house.
Burn After Reading is due to premiere on August 27 and will open the 2008 Venice Film Festival. The film is the Coen brothers’ first since the Academy Award-winning No Country For Old Men. Watch the trailer below!

Brangelina Buns Still in the Oven

Despite rampant reports to the contrary, the Jolie-Pitt offspring count is at four, and holding.
Angelina Jolie’s manager, Geyer Kosinski, told E! News that stories of the actress and Brad Pitt welcoming twin daughters this week are “not true,” meaning the most-watched baby bump in the world has yet to pop.
In a separate statement, Pitt’s manager, Cynthia Pett-Dante, also was in full denial mode, saying, “It is a rumor.”
Similarly, a source close to the family in France said that Jolie was still at home sans newborns as of Friday morning.
The stork non-delivery puts the kibosh on voraciously circulating and rather detailed reports, led by Entertainment Tonight, that girls Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane arrived via C-section at a Catholic clinic in Aix-en-Provence, France, earlier this week. ET has since removed the story from its website.
While Jolie has previously claimed that she wants to give birth in her late mother’s home country, she has yet to confirm the genders of her pending progeny, let alone whether they will in fact be named in honor of their grandparents (Jolie’s late mother is Marcheline; Pitt’s is Jane).
Regardless, whenever the genetically blessed babes make their debut, they will mark kids No. 5 and 6 for the Jolie-Pitt brood, joining Maddox, 6; Pax, 4; Zahara, 3; and Shiloh, who turned 2 just this week.
Jolie left it up to Kung Fu Panda costars Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman to serve as advance men for the baby news while promoting the cartoon at Cannes earlier this month. Black confirmed that Jolie and Pitt were expecting twins, while Hoffman may prove himself as potentially reliable as Deep Throat, claiming stork delivery wasn’t due until Aug. 19.
Last weekend, as the 32-year-old Oscar winner supposedly delivered the tots, word broke that she and Pitt, 44, were moving into a 1,000-acre, $60 million estate, complete with 35 bedrooms, a vineyard and a moat, just outside Aix-en-Provence. The family relocated to France back in April in anticipation of the baby-delivering.

he looks very funny in it. his talking, moving and dancing. seems like an interesting movie with a very talented cast and directors! but i think its unlikely it’ll pick up any nominations but benjamin button might! wonder what angie thinks of the movie ahah

HW loves Coen brothers, you never know. But I agree with you Benjamin Button may get some nominations. That movie looks like a brilliant movie.
Brad is so great in this movie. He is really a character actor in a leading man body. He is a great actor and very talented.
Clueless E! The names that were given did not sound like Angie’s.
If the names were like “semper fidelis” or “kyrie eleison” then maybe.

It’s odd how in the latest E! update they call themselves correcting the record and publishing a statement by Angie’s manager Geyer, and yet in the same piece, they STILL can’t fact check a simple thing like Angelina’s mother’s background, not only something that she’s clarified two dozen times in various publications and interviews, but also something that they themselves had to fact check for programs like E! True HW Story - in other words, they now are not even on the same page with themselves. They must hand out these jobs to the illiterate uneducated offspring of people in high places in Hollywood and NYC - that’s the only explanation why someone can’t google, or wiki, or read one of the 25 or so background pieces on Angelina which state that Marcheline was an American of French Canadian and Iroquois ancestry who grew up in Chicago.

Agreed. Angelina and Brad need no defending from any of their fans. They live their lives. Their actions speak for themselves.
Love Brad, the man is so beautiful inside and out. He is a very good actor. This movie looks like a fun movie.

Having seen this trailer, I have no doubts who acts better in the Jolie-Pitt family - Angelina, of course. The difference between her talent and his “talent” is so huge it is embarrassing.
I’m not saying Brad has no talent - he has some and he’s done some acceptable parts over the years but that’s how far his accomplishments go - acceptable. The quality of his acting is as changeable as the Moon and if he managed well in one movie, that doesn’t mean he will be good in another.
I’d rather rent a Troy DVD again than see this one - not that he was too brilliant as Achilles but he was more bearable there.
I can’t wait to go see this film. I adore the Coen Brothers films.

This is NOT funny.
See, the problem is that people seem to believe that if you act in a comedy you ought to act funny (pull stupid faces, or act like a naive kid).
But the truth is that most funny actors are acting even more serious than necessary. You need timing, precision and that certain look.
Brad, unfortunately, possesses neither. He may be fun in real life- but that does not mean that he can do comedy.
Take Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler or even (the best example) Rpbert DeNiro.
They are funny without being ridiculous.
Wow black, you can actually tell how unfunny Brad is in a 2 hour movie just from watching a 2 min preview, Shutup dumbass!!!!
