Gwyneth and Madonna Know Nobu
Gwyneth Paltrow and BFF Madonna have a girls night out and head to the Nobu Berkeley restaurant in London, England.
Gwynie, 35, with Iron Man Robert Downey Jr. have been burning it up at the box office and have earned over $250 million already since opening earlier in the month.
Ms. Paltrow’s new movie, Two Lovers, premiered at the Cannes Film festival and co-stars Joaquin Phoenix. Her experience in shooting that film was much different than Iron Man, saying, “It gave to me kind of a lifeline. I feel like I was really able to be very free and raw and true. Going from being a mother at home for a long time, which is the greatest joy of my life, to feel like an artist again … that was a gift.”

I get so angry when people say how great Madonna looks for 50. Do they not realize all the work she’s done the past few years. Take a look at how haggard she was just 2 -3 years ago…that’s how she aged folks and how she’d look without her plastic surgeons help.

Jesus, I love how for every movie that Fishyth has had out over the last 5-6 years, breaking her azz for trying to get it seen (those that aren’t superhero franchises where people could give a f*ck if she’s in it) she tries to pretend like each movie is her comeback after the stay-at-home Mum thing. Why does she do that when she works as much as the next actress?? Tell Stephen Huvane (who is also the TV sit-com hack ANiston’s monster PR dude, to stop with the bullsh*t, we’re on to this tactic). News bulletin: No one cares about Fishyth unless she’s pared with an Ironman, Superman, Spiderman or Hulk…same as Kirsten Dunst, Liv Tyler or any of the other franchise ‘girls.’ Or make that approaching 40 women, in Paltrow’s case. I much prefer Madonna to Gwyneth. Madonna made herself what she is, and is a leader, a thinker, and an individual. Gwyneth is boring as hell with parents in the industry who helped her along and their famous friends, like Spielberg, also helped.
Kate and Gwyneth have the same pose, and look how much cuter Kate Moss is, and how much better dressed.
The only gift as an artist that Gwyneth received from working on Two Lovers was getting the chance to work with a TRUE artist — Joaquin Phoenix!
dml, actually they probably have slept together. Th two were seen kissing at an industry party several years ago. But given madonna’s tendency to make out randomly, maybe they didn’t. if they didn’t, though, it was because madonna didn’t want to. gwyneth is such a hangeron when it comes to madge. when they’re out she literally mimics her. it’s truly sad but i see it as a stuffy rich girl’s amazement with a girl from the wrong side of the tracks. anyway, its annoying to see…and i’m waiting to read about gwyneth’s divorce anyday now…her hubby clearly doesn’t want to be married to a famous actress. and she clearly never wanted to be anything but…break from acting to be a mother my eye, her well had simply dried up… “oscar curse,” isn’t that what the old people are calling it?
i can’t even begin to imagine how boring dinner with these two would be. Doubt Kate would be out with them, she actually likes to enjoy herself.
