OlderJohn Mayer is Having a “Totally Awesome” Time in Hawaii
Here’s a pic of John Mayer “having a totally awesome time in Hawaii.” (He’s performing in Hong Kong today at a Coach event.)
The 30-year-old musician just posted this pic and the following entry titled “Honeyee matters”:
“While it’s true that the internet makes it possible for information to stretch in all directions at once, I still believe that it still runs on a vertical axis in terms of quality. So while a blog entry may end up having exploded in a scatter-shot of linking and copying, I believe that where it originates from still matters.
“What Honeyee has allowed me to do is to take comfort in the safety in numbers - namely that of an IQ score - of the terrific minds that I post next to. That’s inspiring for someone like myself who’s fighting to keep his mind open to as many new ideas as possible, even when it makes people scratch their heads from time to time. (I still can’t be sure whether that’s a side effect or the desired result.)
“I’ve met, both physically and digitally, some of the brightest people through blogging here, and I’ll continue to try and challenge myself to engage in as much of the world around me as I can. And if my posts get co-opted, reconstituted, re-printed with added editorial from others, so be it. Because what really matters is that it started on a site that promoted getting smarter, cross-culturizing (fake word), taking pictures, being the first to post new gadgets before Hiroshi can, and all around not accepting the self as having graduated past the research and development phase.
Because to butcher something my friend Charlie Hunter once said, don’t seek what your heroes have, seek what your heroes are seeking…

Is it just me, or does it seem he tries to hard to be “intellectual” and “clever”. Every time one of his blogs is on a website, I just shake my head and wonder what point he is trying to prove. How smart and well read he is? Most of the time, people are just trying to decipher what the hell he’s saying.
I think he’s a great musician, but beyond that I get the feeling he is trying too hard to prove he’s something else.

The Internet is an information highway. Nothing new about that. If information stretches in all direction, then why would it originates from a still vertical axis in terms of quality. Knowledge and information are dynamic, and therefore, it is not stagnant or still. Matter is one that occupies space and must have a mass. Information do not have mass,
If you remember an experiment on information - when one dissiminates as information, regardless of its truthfulness, it is never perceived the same way it was originated, and it gets spin out of control. No way information originates from a still matter.
When an information is disseminated, it is interpreted in so many ways. And everyone has his own interpretation, thus, I am agreeing that it explodes and spun in many direction. For that reason, it does not travel in a still vertical axis.
If your position is true, then you would have completely negated Einstein theories on matter.
At best you are pseudo intellectual [ and that is a stretch], and at worst a scatterbrain, BUT NEVER AN EINSTEIN.
I do like some of your lyrics however, although, the melody and rhythm sucks.

John is hot, talented and damn sexy!! I love his blogs too, they are humourous, insightful, ironic, playful, deep and puzzling sometimes (can’t come up with the right word to use) but only to intelligently challenged. The guy is complex, intelligent and a damn good singer and guitar player. Simply put, John is the MAN, A BADASS!!

Is that so hard to understand? He talks about people/blogs who post his blog’s entries (like JJ did, like Perez did) and he says it’s weird how others post what he says always adding other stuff. He also says it’s nice his posts arecopy/pasted in other places, but it’s better to read the original one, without any other comments added.
