Brad & Maddox: Go, Go, Grand Prix!
PITT GRAND PRIX
Brad Pitt and son Maddox, 6, both put on earplugs for hearing protection at the starting grid before the MotoGP Italian motorcycling Grand Prix on the Mugello circuit in Italy on Sunday.
It was the third consecutive victory for Valetino Rossi, who also won in France and China. It was Rossi’s seventh straight win in a row.
Other pictures include Angelina Jolie looking like perfection in the July 2008 issue of Vanity Fair.

Yup - it’s a great strategy JJ keep it up, I suspect even though the multitude of threads aren’t reaching the high post count — the sheer number means more HITS for Jared - as the millions of JP fans are clicking on JJ constantly just trying to keep up…JJ you are brilliant! It also turns JJs into more of a JP stronghold than ever before - the JPs will have more threads in the countdown list. Way to go JJ. Some of you haters are really silly…What is wrong with a dad taking his son to a a motorcycle race for a little bonding time? They can’t raise their kids in a bubble! Occasionally, like other parents (celeb or not) they are going to go do these kinds of things and that is perfectly normal. If the cameras follow them pics will be taken. If they start taking them to red carpets and premiere parties one may have a point of them ‘pimping their kids’ but that isn’t the case. They are no different than their friends Gwen/Gavin and the everyday outings they take their son on. They pimping him too? No. All of them are living their lives LOL.
Finally, regardless what some would like to believe, the public is still fascinated with this family…if they weren’t the case the paps and helicopters wouldn’t be hovered at the french house they rented just waiting for a glimpse.

thanks JJ. These are not pap pictures. This is a car race where you have many photographers. Havent you seen NASCAR or been to their races? There are more cameras at the races than in Hollywood.

Gee I must have missed your mean comments on all the Gwen Stefani threads as she is constantly out with Kingston. Or Tom Cruise with Suri. Or on the Denise Richard’s thread where she is pimping her kids in her reality tv show. Or what about Britany Spears and her kids when she had them that is.
And why aren’t you complaining about the other three being abandoned. Left at home. While Mad the clear favorite is out with Dad–gosh the other three are at home being blobs and neglected and ignored by Angelina.
Why don’t you critize Jennifer Lopez who insisted for years she wanted kids and family was everything. Now that they are here–she is out constantly without them. Same with Halle Berry. If it was Angie being seen without the kids, you’d be saying she was a bad mother.
Angie and Brad just can’t win with folks like you, but that is okay–they have each other and their absolutely wonderful family not to mention the respect of their peers whether as actors or humanitarians. They have changed countless lives with their humanitarian efforts. And for Mad, Pax and Z–they probably rescued them from a really poor future.

I heard that Angelina will not be attending any of the Hollywood premieres of Wanted. It’s not a big deal because she really has a small part in it and can’t travel.
Angelina would look a lot more youthful if she would keep some extra weight on her frame. Even now when she is about to give birth to twins she looks borderline anorexic to me. She appears at least fifteen pounds underweight for where she is with her pregnancy, and a premature birth wouldn’t be a surprise. I am an RN and she would surely be advised to take it easy and gain some weight.

Sexy mama Jolie earned accolades at Cannes for dramatic role, but she’s proudest of her work in kiddie flick Kung Fu Panda

CANNES — Even pregnant with twins, Angelina Jolie is incredibly versatile. She just dazzled the Cannes Film Festival by showing up on the red carpet with Brad Pitt for two different movies that demonstrate her dynamic range.
One was the adult drama, Clint Eastwood’s Changeling (or The Exchange) — and Jolie is already in the running for a possible Oscar nomination for her serious role. Earning accolades, she plays a distraught yet determined mother whose child has gone missing. It is a true story with a probable fall release.
The other movie was the animated comedy, Kung Fu Panda — and no one expects this romp to be generating Oscar noms except in the specialized best animated feature category. But it could be a big summer hit, if there are any theatres left over that are not showing Indiana Jones in his hit revival.
Of her two latest movies, Kung Fu Panda is the one that Jolie can bring home to the Brangelina brood. While she said she did not make it only because she is a doting mom, that factor doesn’t hurt, she told the media at Cannes.
“Our eldest three have seen the film and they loved it, which is a huge relief because they are my biggest critics,” Jolie said. “The truth is, I would have done this film even if I didn’t have children because I think the message is great and I had so much fun doing it. But it is a real pleasure as a mom to be able to bring your kids to a film you also feel is a good film.”
An added bonus is that the story is set in China and two of her adopted children are from Asia, Jolie said, emphasizing that she is teaching all her children about cultural diversity and their own general history.
For Jolie, Kung Fu Panda also “gets back to the classic animated films” of her own childhood, when most of the animated features on screen and on televison were fairytales. Her own favourite was the Disney classic Dumbo, and she still loves the message — that the big ears that earned him ridicule turned out to be the feature that made him special. Kung Fu Panda has a similar theme about celebrating that which makes one unique, Jolie said.
Kung Fu Panda comes from DreamWorks Animation, which is run by Jeffrey Katzenberg. He was instrumental in reviving the moribund Disney animation studios when he was there, especially by exploring the world of fairytales with successful films such as The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast.
At DreamWorks, under Katzenberg, the fairytale has morphed into the satirical Shrek series and spun into fare such as the less successful Shark Tale. Kung Fu Panda is a bit of a throwback, given that it creates its own Chinese fairytale world where a roly poly panda bear (voiced by Jack Black) accidentally becomes the chosen one who must save the people from an evil tyrant.
Jolie voices a hero character, a tigress who is one of the Furious Five, all of whom are upset to have a novice panda chosen over them after their years of training in the kung fu arts. The Chinese setting is vivid, lush and beautiful. The characters are all stylized animals, including Dustin Hoffman’s kung fu master Shifu, an endangered red panda.
“As much as Jeffrey is terrific doing the modern references where things are hip and cool,” Jolie said of Katzenberg’s contributions to animation, “this is a real classic tale, and it is beautiful, and it’s got a lot of nice words and messages to it. So, as a parent, I can sit back and say: ‘Good!’ I can relax.
“And, of course, it’s always that much more exciting to do it when you have kids.”
Jolie is not the only one who is wild about Kung Fu Panda. Jack Black was on his best buffoonish behaviour at Cannes, joining Jolie to interact with a stuntman in a panda suit. With Katzenberg stage managing it to perfection, the stunt earned the movie free publicity and gave it a fun image — not always easy to do in the middle of the Cannes Film Festival.
Black sat with Jolie for the interviews — grinning. “As Angelina says, it is always a joy to go out and promote a movie that you’re proud of and I’m as proud of this as any movie I have ever done,” Black said. “I think it is some of my best work, personally, and I can’t wait to unleash it!”

I gotta disagree there. There’s a decided lack of originality in these pix. Angie looks stunning…but the settings they’ve got her in are bland. The picture of Angie on the chaise lounge is very similar to a photo she did years ago where she’s sitting in a chair. The one where she’s standing in front of the ocean? That looks like a St. Johns ad she did where she’s wearing a trenchcoat with one bare leg showing up to the top of her thigh.
Contrast those photos with Annie Leibowitz’s shot of Angie strapped to the front of the airplane, the black & white shots of Angie with the wind blowing through her hair…and that mego-hot photo of Brad & Angie in the desert with Brad on his bike. Even in shadows Brad looks like he’s about to devour Angie!
Angelina is so sexy in those VF pictures and it looks like she had fun on the shoot.Loved that she tried different look hot hot hot.

I know I’m late to the Brad Pitt Appreciation Society - I really only started paying attention once he hooked up with Angelina - but I watched Twelve Monkeys for the first time last night and his performance was great.

LOS ANGELES, California (CNN) — A fast-moving blaze Sunday at the back lot of Universal Studios destroyed several movie sets and the “King Kong” exhibit, and damaged a video vault.
The set of “The Changeling,” a film recently directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Angelina Jolie, was “completely destroyed,” Meyer said.
Another area, called “Courthouse Square,” also was destroyed, Meyer said. Numerous movies have been shot in that area, including several scenes of the 1985 hit “Back to the Future,” Meyer said.
And two of the eight locations used by the CBS series “Ghost Whisperer” were affected, he said.
There is nothing weird about Angie. She is a kind, sweet, loving person, devoted mother and talented actress. She has a huge heart and has helped so many in her relatively young life. She is also one of the most beautiful women in the world.. I wish I was that “weird”.

Pitt, 44, will also be seen in fantasy drama, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, in which he plays a man who ages backwards. It hits cinemas in the US shortly before Christmas.

I happen to think women that are UN Global Ambassadors, or top Time Magazine’s Most Influential 100 list for three years running, or who have won Oscars, and adopted children from war torn diseased ravaged 3rd world nations, who have had children and who are raising children and supporting and loving their partners, who have been awarded citizenship in foreign nations, who have met with troops in Iraq, and who has generals, Kings, Presidents and great directors singing her praises, and who has her peers doing the same and expressing admiration and respect, is a simply magnificent amazing woman, who at 32 years old is already a LEGEND. But alas takeabreak, that’s maybe what happens when you don’t care what self-righteous nasty jealous people think, and risk being called ‘weird,’ for doing what you think will help yourself grow, and give back to the world. You don’t let that affect you. IF people call you ‘weird,’ you laugh and keep on struttin; even harder than before….

Angelina Jolie, is a woman whose life is bigger than TV sit-com bit parts. Aniston in the end, is less interesting in life, than Rachel Green, always will be. Her interest level has always been relative to who her significant other was, or her TV show and the words that the writers put in her mouth, along with other things they put in her mouth. Bahaha!
That, I find even MORE weird, because frankly I considered Rachel and Aniston the least interesting and the least talented thing on Friends. When your nipples upstage you and your ugly face at every turn, you know you are a bore, and a dullard to the 10th power.

If her goal was press, she got it to great success, and was attached to ‘Brangelina coattails,’ for all time.. However, if her goal was NOT to be known as a PITIFUL LOSER, then she FAILED miserably. Hahaha!

I’ll be very explicit in my point (and will even add illustrations to help you out)….which is both of these woman have positive and negative attributes. For instance, in the op, I expressed an opinion that these latest pictures are not flattering to Angelina Jolie; an opinion which frankly (and disturbingly), sent some of you over the edge. IMHO, these photos are tacky and cheap. I also expressed the opinion she looked good in the photos taken in Namibia prior to the birth of Shiloh.

(She has said as much in interviews.) This is a very mature decision on her part; it would have been so easy to give into temptation and get pregnant to avoid divorce. Using a child to prolong a bad marriage is a despicable thing and kudos to her for not doing it.
Here is a negative about Jennifer Aniston. She needs to get over this hiding the face thing. She needs to deal with the press (even those hideous paparazzi) in a better way. John Mayer seems to know how to handle them (by making them the butt of all jokes…lol!), so maybe she’ll take a few notes from him.
Positive about Angelina Jolie. I do think she has the desire to help others and it is genuine. But, here’s the negative….she has the hubris to think she can instruct others on the issues. Too much ‘do as I say and not as I do’ from Pitt and Jolie. We should all log in to their NOLA site and buy a toaster for one of their pink houses…but can you imagine how many toasters the equivalent rent on a 35 bedroom mansion would buy for Katrina victims? They don’t consider the relativity of the sacrifice they request from others. (In other words, $500 to me is a lot different than $500 to them….) Furthermore (and I apologize, I am not John Mayer, just an ordinary CPA and nonprofit organization auditor), their propensity to create and abandon charitable organizations is worrisome to me.

But there she was at Cannes last month, doing the French poodle-and-pony show for a computerized cartoon film she wasn’t even in. Except for her sultry voice.
“It is a real pleasure as a mom to be able to bring your kids to a film that you also really feel is a good film and goes back to the classic animated films,” she said, during the press blitz igniting the international launch of “Kung Fu Panda,” the highly hyped DreamWorks feature, which cross-pollinates Bruce Lee with your teddy bear.
“Kung Fu Panda,” which opens Friday, is one of the last 2D films DreamWorks Animation reportedly plans to make, but when Jolie said “classic,” what did she mean?

This includes Rosen’s very straight, very crotchety MOTHER who declared that she would very much like to “munch on Angelina’s lips.”
Lesbians behave as if crushes on Angelina Jolie belong to them. They behave as if having a crush on Angelina is an essential part of being part of an underground lesbian society that holds the key to the Cult of Angelina when in fact, the Angelina Jolie crush is the Barack Obama of celebrity crushes. Angelina Jolie crushes transcend gender, race, sexual orientation, income level and age. People in Red States love Angelina Jolie. People in Blue States love Angelina Jolie.
The Angelina Jolie crush is the thread that ties all of humanity together. If the United States and Cuba could just focus on their appreciation of Angelina Jolie instead of obsessing over that little tiff over capitalism and communism, they would stop bickering and bridge their differences, and the ridiculous charade of smuggling Cuban cigars through Canada would end. Here’s a little secret. When I decided to come out to my friends, I decided to do so by announcing I had a crush on Angelina Jolie. Why? Because having a crush on Angelina Jolie is totally acceptable to ANYONE. I could turn back at any time if the going got tough. Announcing that you have a crush on Angelina Jolie is the equivalent of announcing that you like chicken soup. Everyone likes chicken soup, and no one will give you **** about announcing that you like chicken soup.
Hence, the Angelina Jolie crush is plain vanilla. It is generic. No one owns it; it is in the public domain.
Put succinctly, it is safe, expected and boring.
Ladies, there isn’t anything lesbo-exclusive or distinctive about crushing on Angelina. Recognize, and move on.
Why do i admire Angie? because she’s a total package of any human being. She possesses what i call the 5 Bs:
B1- BRAINS (check). She may have not finished her higher education but she was schooled in prestigious schools such as Beverly Hills HS, Lee Strasberg (theatre acting), New York University (directing/ sreenwriting). She also got her UK & US pilot licenses. She keeps upbreasts on global or foreign affairs. Reads a lot of books. Also, when she was younger, she learned ballroom dancing, fencing, boxing. Now she is learning French. For her, learning is a continuing process. Her smart answers to every question really impress me every time. She never gives stupid answers. Very seldom she gives monosyllabic response. Instead, her answers are mostly something that we can ponder on. By the way, if she’s not smart, she can’t be a member of Council on Foreign Relations. She is not afraid to lobby whatever causes she believes in. And people can really see that she has something between her ears. That’s why she is respected by a lot of dignitaries, VIPs & people from all walks of life.
B2-BRILLIANCE (check) - Her talent especially in acting blows the mind of every producer, director & actor she has worked with. The awards & accolades she received only show that she is not just a star but an A-list professional actress. Her co-workers in every film she makes have only very good words to say about how brilliant her performance is.
B3-BEAUTY (check) - Her facial asset is never boring to look at. The more you look at her, the more she becomes beautiful & beautiful. Her mesmerizing eyes, luscious lips, the enigmatic smile, hair, the glowing skin, the eyebrows, the mole (which I think has a mind of its own) etc. ..are just WOW! Her name is always mentioned by patients in every cosmetic surgery there is.
B4-BODY (check) - She is always on top of every list or polls conducted about her body. She is always sought after by designers & photographers. She may not be in total perfection but her sex appeal is a 10. Her poise, her movement, her walk, everything.. the way she carries herself. The X or IT factor is just there. Words to describe is not even enough what makes her so stunning that lots of people from whatever gender or sexual orientation never fail to admire her.
B5-BENEVOLENCE (check) - This is the most striking & most important of her many assets. Her kindness to human regardless of race, culture is beyond question. Her voluntary efforts to help (be in financial or to really witness the life of the unfortunate) & eventually became a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador is what I admire about her the most. Her book “Notes from My travels” is very inspiring, & its profits all went to UNHCR. In other words, she has a good soul, & it’s just second nature to her.

We use to take our sons to the races and they are loud.I can see why this might have bothered Brad’s son.Because it did make one of our son to want to leave.But after it started he was always the last one to want to leave.Now he is fifthteen and he wants his dad to take him all the time.Brads a good father.

I know some of you mean well, but when you mention that Aniston ‘blew it,’ or ‘messed up,’ you are actually negating everything that Brad says. I repeat: Aniston did NOT have a choice. He wanted out. He did not want a family with her. He did not want to be with her. He did not love her in that way. IMO, he NEVER did.
Though like a good midwestern boy he was willing to WORK. And at the beginning of their ‘merger’ he was hiding out from the pain of a failed romance and a tenuous career that was being attacked - he probably thought with some elbow grease and hard work they could manage something for a time. But ultimately, as he probably suspected, it was destined and DOOMED to fail. We’re you’re truly in love, you don’t need to work all that hard. Not that he even considers his Maniston jail term a failure which is even more of a cold diss to maniston: Brad essentially has said, it was a relationship that ran it’s course - it’s done, and we wish each other well.
You can read Maniston’s own interview in VF, and that of her gaggle of hens. Brad was out of there. End of story. I personally believe with all my heart - that their marriage was a mistake to begin with. I think Brad knew it straight off, which is why he was in therapy. She’s not only admitted that their relationship went through what she called “rough and nasty patches,” she also said Brad was not the love of her life, while he said, some people weren’t necessarily meant to be together long-term.
She and her friends have said that Maniston did not want the divorce, did not want the separation - said that during the last couple yrs of their relationship, that he didn’t want kids but she did. They realized that they had taken their relationship as far as it would go - that they were done, but hey, best of luck.She finally realized she couldn’t hold on to someone who wanted out - they went on vacay, said their goodbyes, swore to be pals, then released their statement.
To say SHE “blew it.” or should have had kids - Is to ignore everything Brad has said, and everything even SHE has said.
Point is. They were done. They weren’t each other’s true love, soul mates, or even partners at the end - she had her thing, he had his - they had very little in common, could not relate to one another, wanted different things - and probably realized at the outset or soon after, that they shouldn’t have done what they did anyway. It says a LOT about her, that she would want Brad to continue to be miserable within the marriage, unfulfilled and unhappy.
It says she was with him for what he could do for her career wise, and probably was the one thing that made her feel like not such an ugly homely person - the notion that ‘Brad Pitt,’ was with her. She didn’t see him - she saw the ‘image.’ She didn’t want to lose that.
Brad escaped, found his destiny and fate and true love in Angelina, raising a family and helping teh world — while she continues her quest to NOT be seen as ‘homely,’ by buying more and more plastic surgery, wearing junior outfits and ensembles and great shoes and getting her hair did.
Says a LOT about who they are as people, and what they consider important.
I repeat, if you think there is anything a person like THAT could have done to ‘keep,’ a man who did not want to be, you are DELUSIONAL. He was gone, LONG before they separated - LONG BEFORE.
Which is one more reason why I loathe her, the fact that she sicc’d the public on a beautiful young woman like Angelina Jolie and her babies.
But in my opinion, it’s something that a woman without character who at her core, is nasty and vindictive.

It’s the result of a root canal. Once the tooth is dead it slowly starts changing color. I had the same thing happen. The solution is a cap or a bridge. Granted he’s got the money to pay for it…but I don’t know too many people who voluntarily go to the dentist if their teeth aren’t killing them. Look at Porgie…his had bad chompers his whole freaking life and only recently made an effort to start fixing them. 32 fcuked up teeth and his cheap ass fixes 2? If he spent less money on hos he could have gotten a full set of dentures!
