Brad & Maddox: Go, Go, Grand Prix!
PITT GRAND PRIX
Brad Pitt and son Maddox, 6, both put on earplugs for hearing protection at the starting grid before the MotoGP Italian motorcycling Grand Prix on the Mugello circuit in Italy on Sunday.
It was the third consecutive victory for Valetino Rossi, who also won in France and China. It was Rossi’s seventh straight win in a row.
Other pictures include Angelina Jolie looking like perfection in the July 2008 issue of Vanity Fair.

Angie hopes Pitt will spend more time working on architecture—though he’s in fact not an architect. “He just has an eye for it,” she said. “You hear people talk about design or buildings, and assume, especially when somebody has another career, ‘Oh, that’s a hobby.’ Like somebody coming into money appreciating Picasso. But I have seen him design, with his partners, everything from hotels to studios. Or in New Orleans, with other architects, re-doing a shotgun house with green architecture, bringing light in, angles of the sun in summer and winter, how that would affect the rooms. You are deranged. You are not an Angelina fan. Fans of Angelina’s support her and want her to be happy. Brad makes her happy. Brad is Angelina’s choice as the man that she loves.

ITA, JA thought for sure BP would never dare leave her for AJ, who was mostly known for being a bad girl by the general public, as doing so would mean the end of his career. But he risked everything to be with the woman he loves. We can’t say the same thing about Joaquin Phoenix with ReeseW, and Owen Wilson with KH the first time around. Those two men didn’t dare follow their hearts, they didn’t want to risk their careers, while BP did. I am a romantic at heart, and that’s why I love BP.

People on JJB are panning this interviewer’s style, and basically saying - just read Angelina’s words, not his, and you’ll be fine. LOL
I was disappointed in the interview. Mainly because Angelina is such an honest, straightforward person. I kind of felt this guy didn’t deserve to interview her after reading it.
Like she gives her honesty and heart in her answers and he sits back and was just studying her like a specimen under glass. He had a strangely clinical approach. At times just when I thought he was loosening up, he would revert back to his dissection.
…and though I know what this one person on JJB was saying (jen3xsomething.. lol) — that the little bit this interviewer was saying regarding Aniston was in ‘theory,’ and speculative - that he wasn’t actually accusing Angie of anything, it still came off (and will come off) that he’s just furthering the lore that Brad was ’stolen.’ (Don’t get too miffed, he mentions their coming together, and Aniston in a couple paragraphs - but many think that was a couple lines too many, ya know?)
In the end none of this discussion helps any of the parties concerned. Especially Aniston. Who is seen as something so inconsequential that she can just get picked off or ‘torpedo’d’ as Cohen put it.
Plus, people often forget, it was Aniston herself who first put forth the lore, and validated all of our fantasies, by saying Brad, while still married to her, was falling for Angelina.
Unfortunately, or fortunately, Brad never addressed that in his subsequent interviews, as well he shouldn’t - he’s out promoting a movie, why bring THAT up. But it’s odd, that these interviewers give males that space and don’t get particularly intrusive — they allow a male star to just not address things or answer. Which is why I think it strange that all this is always laid at Angelina’s door. She remains the siren because of articles like this that infer and theorize.
Vanity Fair could have used this as an opportunity to mend fences, to correct the slights done her in the Aniston piece. The article on Angie in 2008, could have read like, Look, we know 3 years ago we did a piece that made Angelina out to be the evil seductress - but it wasn’t true then, she’s always been honest as the day is long. It’s not her fault Brad fell for her and was still technically married though in a troubled rocky relationship - Angelina did the right thing, as did Brad.
But they didn’t…and so…the drama (and lore) continues.

Hi Cliniqua I am a fan of Brangelina and a fan of YOURS. I really admire the way you depend them. I hope you don’t mind but I would like to check with you if you can remember or did it ever cross your way a certain Hollywood article sometimes in 2000 when BP and Maniston got married, this article was so negative about the union of these two and Hollywood felt that it was unlikey and unfitting. It specifically mentioned Angelina Jolie whom Hollywood preferred BP to be with. I kept a copy of the Entertainment Section in a daily paper but I lost it eventually. I now think that this two seem to be destined together.
if i remember it right, it was maddox and pax who was w/ her in washington d.c. and not z & shi as stated in the vf interview.

While what you say is 100% true, the truth is that some people will always cling to the version of life that they want to hear, they close their ears and eyes to the truth. So no matter what VF might have said will make no difference to those who prefer tabloid tales.
Now I just posted an article in which Brad is to design a new project, and his words are:

I don’t see Angie wearing the green wig in those pix. The cover pic is photoshopped to the max that it kind’a ruin her natural beauty. There’s no need to alter that pretty pretty face.

My take on her not thinking he would leave her is more “her” than “him” i.e. she was on a superficial “confidence high” and started to believe in her own “stardom and popularity”…blinded by a precarious self assurance, her “feeling” invincible was at a peak. She was coming off a successful series winning awards, getting paid big money, on a magazine cover every week being interviewed, getting movie offers and accolades for The Good Girl and she started to believe in herself too much i.e. that she was finally “A” listed on her own merits. Failing to be grounded and cognizant of the seriousness and extent of his unhappiness and despite going through ongoing therapy, I don’t think she is (was) intelligent nor insightful enough to attribute the possibility he would not leave the marriage because of his beliefs…that would require considerateness on her part. She has demonstrated herself to be quite the opposite by her self-involved words and actions e.g. “adoption is not my thing,” purposeless bodyguards (which is laughable…how self important is that?) further embellished with over-the-top egotistical behavior as demonstrated in her flagrant open-legged “I’m giving birth”positions, bending over bikini butt stances and perky nipple exhibitions.
She obviously didn’t learn any lessons from her parents divorce… only to use it as an excuse for her own insecurities and failures to take public responsibility as demonstrated in the VF interview.

^^ Wow. Interesting. I’m so glad Brad is pursuing another one of his dreams, most likely because Angelina is encouraging him to do what he loves and that she’ll support him.
One last thing about that interview…this might sound harsh but…
My second reaction, is that I would hope in the letters/editorial section of the magazine’s next issue - that this interviewer issues an apology to the readership and Angelina Jolie. I know it’s a pipe dream. LOL He was just so not worth her time.
My best description for it, is bullshit surrounding a rose.
The bullshit does not affect the rose - it actually will make the rose bigger, and brighter and more beautiful. This writer’s bullshit, really just enhanced the truth and the light that was Angelina. She was like a clear blue sky peeping thru his dark repetitive clouds.
Plus, I agree with what some have said — what’s with him going over the questions that not only does most everyone know the answers to already, but that even Vanity Fair knows the answers to, because in her LAST Vanity Fair cover, they discussed Angelina’s UN work, Refugees and Maddox, etc!!
It was almost like this guys was stuck in a time warp. I mean, with Angelina, you have so many amazing NEW things to cover - the Jolie Pitt foundation, Time’s 100 Most Influential, the respect they have amongst their peers in the industry, their critically acclaimed performances (I mean Angelina was nominated for almsot every major award last year - and yet her acting in my opinion was treated very dismissively - was this strategic?? VF is a BIG part of the AAs, and it seems to me, this article COULD HAVE emphasized her artistic side, and what she’s put on the screen and what she deserves in that way — especially since AMH was so lauded…yet while BBT, blood vials, Aniston, WERE mentioned, her tour de force acting in AMH, was not. Coincidence?? Probably not. VF might be out to torpedo her again, much like they did the first go round with Aniston. I think CAA and the Huvanes are VERY tight with TPTB over there.
He also could have explored her time on the Council on Foreign Relations and how remarkable a woman she is — yet he seems to be JUST meeting Angelina circa 2002 and 2004-2005. Ask her about her dad - check. Ask her about her dad’s movies - check. Ask her about Refugees - check. BBT - check Shimizu- check JLM - check Blood vial - check. Jon Voight on TV crying - check.

If you are a true angie fan you should be more critical to the haters than to brad who loves angie.
You only bash brad but not the haters who wishes harm to angie and the children.

When we were talking about Voight, I asked Jolie about Coming Home—the movie for which he won the best-actor Oscar, in 1979. “Actually,” she said, “I’ve never seen Coming Home.”
