I’m not impressed with this VF interview. Same shite, different day. Is there ever going to come a time when legit journalists don’t sink to gossip level? It’s no great surprise that VF chose to continue perpetrating the usual tabloid lies - the vial of blood, kissing her brother at the Oscars, etc., - but that low-blow crap about stealing Brad and forever making X look like a victim and not a woman who screwed up her own marriage is getting old, lame, tired and just plain stupid! Enough already. Give X her share of the blame and stop this busllshit about Angie “stealing” a grown ass man! Sheesh.

And then to top it off…there’s this bit where he says Angie had the girls in DC and Brad took the boys to LA…

I met Jolie again in Washington, D.C., at the Hay-Adams, one of the oldest hotels in the country. It’s across the street from the White House. She had come to town with her two daughters—“Brad took the boys to L.A.”

Brad Pitt to Help Design America-Themed Dubai Hotel (Update1)

June 2 (Bloomberg) — Brad Pitt, the star of “Fight Club” and “Ocean’s 11” who professes a passion for architecture, will be a design consultant for an 800-room hotel and resort Zabeel Properties plans to build in Dubai, the developer said.

Zabeel, based in Dubai, hired architecture firm Graft LLC to design an America-themed hotel in the United Arab Emirates city, the closely held developer said today in a statement. Los Angeles-based Graft, which has worked with Pitt on rebuilding efforts in New Orleans, will include the 44-year-old actor on its Dubai design team, Zabeel said.

“Acting is my career, architecture is my passion,” Pitt said in the statement. As “my first major construction project,” the Dubai hotel will feature “environmentally friendly architecture, but also embrace my career in entertainment.”

Detailed plans for the hotel and resort will be made public in the next few months, Zabeel said. The developer didn’t give the project’s exact location or say how much it would cost to build.

The company’s properties comprise about $5 billion of residential, commercial and hotel projects, including Tiara Residence and Tiara Hotel, which are part of the Palm Jumeirah artificial-island development.

Graft is one of the architecture firms Pitt began working with in 2007 to rebuild New Orleans’s Lower Ninth Ward neighborhood, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Pitt’s New Orleans-based Make It Right organization is working to build affordable homes in the area.

Pitt has long been an admirer of Scottish architect and designer Charles Rennie MacKintosh and American architect Frank Lloyd Wright, BusinessWeek magazine said in a 2005 profile of the actor. He became friends with Frank Gehry during a home- renovation project in 2001, and studied computer-aided design at the architect’s Los Angeles offices, the magazine said.

LOL. Good for Brad. I just finished reading the VF interview where Angie said she hoped he’d do more of that in the future and lo and behold… This project certainly makes me think this move to France may indeed be their new home base. It’s much easier to get to Dubai from France than from LA…And 3 years sounds like about how long it would take to build this hotel and resort.

I think her quote “artists raising artists” was about artists in general, not only her and Brad.

I am not too upset about the article. I wish the JA reference could have been kept out, but who are we kidding, we have a few more years before that will happen, no thanks to JA. From what i read, the interviewer did her no favors, and instead reiterated that Brad and Angie fell in love.

This woman is phenomenal.

the article is a pure BS, there are many things weird of the writer, in the final he put jolie as a hipocrite.:

I find it weird that an actress who professes to be a humanitarian allows her son to draw a machine gun which brad pit gets made into necklace. Even if none of the story in the daily mail is true (which seems odd as they said she had it on) and low and behold we see pap pictures of her wearing it… even if Maddox didn’t design it…why would you buy it and WHY would you wear it.? Sorry I like her…in fact I’m facsinated by her like most people but this has left me stunned.
