Brad & Maddox: Go, Go, Grand Prix!
PITT GRAND PRIX
Brad Pitt and son Maddox, 6, both put on earplugs for hearing protection at the starting grid before the MotoGP Italian motorcycling Grand Prix on the Mugello circuit in Italy on Sunday.
It was the third consecutive victory for Valetino Rossi, who also won in France and China. It was Rossi’s seventh straight win in a row.

yes true…however why glorify it and have jewelry made up and wear it, when it’s such a destructive thing and actually kills people. Why are people refugees? because people and governments forced people out of their country or land by force…with guns or the threat of violence.
It just doesn’t go with this image she is trying to promote of a peace loving humanitarian.
for all the fans who said the article was negative, did you actually read the whole article? there is nothing negative about that article, actually i liked the article and the writer was good in approaching her.

Get the **** over it. Hello idiot, she’s in Wanted a movie about assassin. She used a gun in the movie. She collects knives too
I read the VF article. I thought it was OK. I will be buying a copy.
the last paragraph where the writer was talking about the woman and the napkin, he was refferring to the other woman and not angelina, therefore before you start ranting with your senselessness, try to read and understand the article, and not just read between the lines
… one more thing … You’ve really come a long way, Brad Pitt!
Congratulations to Brad and here is hoping for more projects to come.

Even Hollywood can’t distract Rossi from his seventh heaven
Brad Pitt watched on as Valentino Rossi’s clinched his seventh straight Italian MotoGP

The presence of Brad Pitt at yesterday’s Italian MotoGP was a shot in the arm, PR-wise, for a sport that has never competed with formula one in terms of celebrity guests and hangers-on. Pitt, who attended the race with his six-year-old son, Maddox, hid under a hat, but he was not so well hidden that the world’s press didn’t notice him. I could also tell you that father and son both wore sunglasses and ear plugs, but you’re not here to read a celeb blog; you’re here to read about the real star of the day, whom not even Pitt could overshadow: Valentino Rossi.
Almost 100,000 Italians turned up at Mugello, a terrific circuit set in the Tuscan hills, to worship at the church of Rossi. They came to see if their hero could win a third grand prix in a row. They came to see if he could win a seventh straight Italian MotoGP - Rossi owns Mugello, like Federer owns Centre Court, or Tiger owns Augusta (although unlike those two, he never loses at his favourite venue). And they came to see for themselves if reports of the Doctor’s decline were exaggerated.
Rossi did not disappoint. He did not quite cruise to victory, as he has before in his home race, but he led for most of it, and there was never much doubt that he had the pace and resolve to keep Casey Stoner (second) and Dani Pedrosa (third) at bay. If the crowd seemed unusually quiet for the majority of the race, it was because they were holding their breath, waiting until the moment when Rossi flashed across the start/finish line for the final time. Only then did they go mad, pouring on to the track in huge numbers, arms aloft, homemade banners held high. Several riders, including Rossi, had to take short-cuts across the grass to avoid the attention of the most exuberant spectators. If the Italian had dared to stop, he would have been mobbed and probably stripped down to his underwear. If one enterprising fan attempted to make a souvenir of Rossi’s Yamaha, clear a perimeter fence, and ride off into the Tuscan sunset, I would not have been surprised. Everyone wanted a piece of the winner, but somehow he made it to the parc fermé intact.
What does this result do for the championship race? Since I last reviewed a MotoGP, after China, Rossi has won two races in a row, and jumped into a 12-point lead at the top of the table. His Yamaha is now working like a dream, an ominous sign for Honda and Ducati, and, even more ominously for the rest of the field, there is talk that Rossi will sign a new contract to stay with the team for another two seasons. That’s great news. MotoGP needs Rossi more than vice versa.
Pedrosa continues to be the most consistent rider of the top quartet, but podiums won’t be enough if he is to overhaul Rossi; the Spaniard has to start winning again. Jorge Lorenzo is now 28 points adrift of Rossi, and there is a feeling that the young sensation is beginning to feel the pace, physically more than mentally. He crashed in practice in China and France, and crashed out during yesterday’s race, a simple rider error for which he has since apologised to his team.
Pedrosa and Lorenzo may be Rossi’s closest challengers, but the Italian won’t have forgotten about Stoner, who lies in fourth, some 46 points off the lead. The reigning champion can still retain his title, but he needs much more help - any help would be nice - from dismal Ducati team-mate Marco Melandri. Stoner is a one-man team, and so far ahead of Melandri, it’s embarrassing.
As for Britain’s James Toseland, he had his best ride of the season to finish sixth, again on an unfamiliar track. He is improving all the time, and moves up to eighth in the table. Toseland fans must now be desperate to see how their man fares at Donington on 22 June, on a track he knows well from his time in Superbikes.

Pandas prove at hit in Hollywood
Giant pandas joined Jack Black on the red carpet
Giant pandas invaded Hollywood for the premiere of Kung Fu Panda, striking fighting poses on the red carpet with the film’s star Jack Black.
Hundreds of fans crammed onto the sidewalks of Hollywood Blvd to catch a glimpse of the funnyman and his famous co-stars.
The animated family film follows Po (Jack), a clumsy kung fu fan who works in his family’s noodle shop. He’s unexpectedly chosen to fulfil an ancient prophecy and join the kung fu world to study alongside his idols. Dustin Hoffman, Angelina Jolie and Lucy Liu also voice characters.
Jack revealed he’d signed up for the flick years before his two babies were even conceived. He said: “I signed up to do this movie four years ago, before I even had kids, and it just worked out perfectly.”
Dustin, who plays baddie Shifu, revealed he’d found the experience of voicing his character “painstaking”.

Nicolas Cage returning to New Orleans
NEW ORLEANS — Brad Pitt did it last year with “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” and now Nicolas Cage will get to enjoy some homecooking, as he becomes the latest part-time New Orleans resident and full-time A-list celeb to sign on for a locally produced film.
“The Bad Lieutenant,” which production company Pressman Films is calling an “update” of the gritty 1992 Harvey Keitel corrupt-cop tale, will come to town for a scheduled 35-day summer shoot, from July 7 through mid-August.

Interesting interview with the writer
Maybe not, author Brooks says of his topical ‘Zombie War’ chronicles
He’s currently working on a graphic novel about zombie attacks throughout history and is eagerly awaiting the film version of “World War Z.” Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio went into a bidding war over the book, and it went to Pitt’s Plan B production company.
J. Michael Straczynski, creator of “Babylon 5″ and writer of the new Clint Eastwood-directed film “Changeling,” wrote the screenplay.
“He’s a brilliant sci-fi writer, understands politics, understands history and human nature,” Brooks said. “I read the script, and I can tell you it’s really good.”
It’s estimated release date is 2010.
the article is ok,not that bad,but a little tabloid shi*

hmm are you sure?
the entire article is negative about angelina and the last paragraph:
She shoved a napkin in front of Jolie,WHO SMILED AND SIGNED.
to me that was a intention to show angelina like a hipocrite person, but maybe is only me

everytime I read anything about her and knives and vials of blood and drugs I assume it’s in the past tense. That’s she’s changed and become a humanitarian…so what if she plays an assassin in a movie..that’s make believe not real life. In real life her son draws pictures of machine guns and she get’s them made into jewelry and wears them around her neck. Nuff said.
nnn,huh,please

Good morning all!!!!

Good Morning all:
I see the hens have a new rallying cry, “Oh no, tombraider star keeps her tombraider guns”. Too funny. I guess these other male actions stars do not get to keep souvenirs from their film sets. Don’t worry hens, I am sure that they are in a safe place(in one of their 50 homes, I exaggerate) and not traveling with them. Afterall, it has been over 5(?) years since the last Lara Croft movie. Hens are forever looking for something on AJ. It is amusing to see what they will come up with next.
Thanks for the article about BP’s latest architecture project. He is at his creative and professional best and has a woman that totally supports him. When you have a strong homebase and not a whiny insecure partner who only thinks of her career, then you and your partner can accomplish a lot. AJ is a woman who has a family, a career and her humanitarian work. It seems like she has it all and there are people, in the media and hens, who resent this. Thanks for all the updates Just Jared. Have a great day and make it a MIR day.
hello to all bampzs
I going to buy a copy tomorrow.
Thanks for the link to the Vanity Fair article. I have not read it yet, but scanned some of the comments. I am sure it is an interesting read, with some of AJ’s quotes, a lot of the writer’s bias, rumors and myths. At least Mama Angie looks sexy and beautiful in the pictures. Peace to all.
i will get my copy too
bdj,thanks for articles
