Thanks bdj for posting the articles.I swear some of the so-called fan’s are worse than the haters with the whining after every interview.
Waterlily @ 06/02/2008 at 7:58 am Angelina in famous for her generosity when it comes to autograph signing … always included in the top ten list.
_____________
ok maybe it´s only me but when a writer that wrote all that stuff about angelina in the article I can think bad about his intention to show angelina like a hipocrite person in the last paragragh.
# 500 bdj @ 06/02/2008 at 8:04 am Thanks for the link to the Vanity Fair article. I have not read it yet, but scanned some of the comments. I am sure it is an interesting read, with some of AJ’s quotes, a lot of the writer’s bias, rumors and myths. At least Mama Angie looks sexy and beautiful in the pictures. Peace to all.
______________
the only interesting are the angie´s quotes and the photos the other is BS
the real lou, there is nothing wrong with the interview,is goog an i will get my copy
Always love to see their pictures. God Bless them.
i love the pics, they are perfection
And damn skippy, I would protect my children at all costs. So all you deranged hens out there, pining for Shiloh, wishing harm on un-born babies, hating on Zahara, Maddox or Pax, Mama Angie is putting you on notice. Step to her and she will take you out. She is like a lion when it comes to her children, so keep your deranged thoughts, whining and ranting to blogs. That includes you also whiny. Okay, I am through. Have a great day to all.
Thanks bdj, even though this was is not a fav interview by a longshot, I suggest everyone buy a copy, I want Angie’s issue to do gangbusters.
Don’t forget Jennifer Garner she has to be number one in parading her daughter around on a daily basis.
Why call it parading. This is not parading. If it is so then when you go out to any activity that is what you are also doing. It is called spending time at an activity you enjoy. No more no less.
Based on Angie’s interview, she is the key to Brad;s having accomplised so much the last 3 years or so. She is very supportive of Brad’s passion in other fields, and because of her, Brad was able to do what he likes to do the most, travel, architecture, humanitarianism and fatherhood.
I thinks its very telling, Brad wasnt that accomplished during the most part of his life with Aniston. He did fewer films and most were mediocre. He wasnt able to travel much, I suppose because his exwife has fear of flying. Having a lazy partner like Aniston before had made Brad’s life boring, I think all they did was have parties in their house or attend parties of their friends. Also his passion for architecture was not fulfiled and most of all his dream of fatherhood did not came true until Angie came to his life.
Im sure Brad realizes how his life is so much fuller and fulfilled now, he has been doing better and better films, and winning an oscar is no longer impossible, his dream of becoming a real architect is soon to be fulfilled with the Dubai project , he has his Nola project and most of all he has experienced fatherhood, 6x fold!
Brad would have not accomplised all these things without Angie’s support and encouragement, Angie is a doer, she just doesnt talk about her dreams and wants, she makes it happen. With Angie on his side, Brad has been more confident and inspired, hence more productive and more accomplished, just a much much better person.
I thought the interview was pretty good. nnn , I have no idea why you would say they are making Angelina to be a hypocrite because she signed an autograph.
Brad have a ‘quality’ woman.
Angelina said in her VF interview that she realised through her mother that the noblest and at the same time, most fun, is to set aside your life for the little people you love the most. Her children are the centre of her life . This woman clearly demonstrate unconditional love to her children. It shows by her words. It shows by her actions.
Sweetest thing.

It’s just science-fiction — right?
Interesting interview with the writer
Maybe not, author Brooks says of his topical ‘Zombie War’ chronicles
He’s currently working on a graphic novel about zombie attacks throughout history and is eagerly awaiting the film version of “World War Z.” Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio went into a bidding war over the book, and it went to Pitt’s Plan B production company.
J. Michael Straczynski, creator of “Babylon 5″ and writer of the new Clint Eastwood-directed film “Changeling,” wrote the screenplay.
“He’s a brilliant sci-fi writer, understands politics, understands history and human nature,” Brooks said. “I read the script, and I can tell you it’s really good.”
It’s estimated release date is 2010.

Thanks ,bdj. :)
This article is very interesting.
Everyone praised Straczynski’s script of Changeling and Plan B chose him for World War Z.
VF’s new issue is what I expected.
From their new cover I expected not much.
The writer even did not mention to her new movie ‘ Wanted ‘ .
I’m waiting for Entertainment Weekly’s article .
It will be better than VF.
pendant,
It’s obviously a symbol for protecting her family. It doesn’t take much brain power to work it out!
The VF is not that bad, I don’t get why people are freaking out so much. The parts about angie telling maddox about marcheline’s death and why they choose the name shiloh are the probably the most sweet things angelina has said in her interviews.
thank you ladies for all the smokin post!
They were talking about Brad in the Bloomberg Business Report, for his involvement in the Dubai hotel project. Go Brad! BBL
FYI ,
I suppose you have to take the good with the bad. I loved those parts as well. I have printed the artical off and am heading to bed for a second read. Goodnight/ morning / evening ???!!!!! (wherever you are in BAMPZSville)
I find it very paradoxical that Angelina Jolie is allowed to be a UN Ambassadeur (UN - an organization that works for peace, amongst others) when she clearly is interested in all kinds of weapon and combat sports. Does anyone agree?
Jolie first became personally aware of worldwide humanitarian crises while filming Tomb Raider in poverty-stricken and widely mined Cambodia. She eventually turned to UNHCR for more information on international trouble spots. In the following months she agreed to visit different refugee camps around the world to learn more about the situation and the conditions in these areas. In February 2001, Jolie went on her first field visit, an 18-day mission to Sierra Leone and Tanzania; she later expressed her shock at what she had witnessed.[44] In the coming months she returned to Cambodia for two weeks and later met with Afghan refugees in Pakistan where she donated $1 million for Afghan refugees in response to an international UNHCR emergency appeal.[45] She insisted on covering all costs related to her missions and shared the same rudimentary working and living conditions as UNHCR field staff on all of her visits.[44]
Impressed by her interest and devotion in the subject, UNHCR named her a Goodwill Ambassador on August 27, 2001 at UNHCR headquarters in Geneva.[46] In a press conference Jolie explained her motives for joining the refugee agency:
“ We cannot close ourselves off to information and ignore the fact that millions of people are out there suffering. I honestly want to help. I don’t believe I feel differently from other people. I think we all want justice and equality, a chance for a life with meaning. All of us would like to believe that if we were in a bad situation someone would help us.[44] ”
During her first three years as Goodwill Ambassador, Jolie concentrated her efforts on field missions, visiting refugees and internally displaced persons (IDPs) all around the world. Asked what she hoped to accomplish, she stated, “Awareness of the plight of these people. I think they should be commended for what they have survived, not looked down upon.”[47] In 2002, Jolie visited Tham Hin refugee camp in Thailand and Colombian refugees in Ecuador to take a closer look at the “Western Hemisphere’s most severe humanitarian crisis”.[48] Jolie later went to various UNHCR facilities in Kosovo and paid a visit to Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya with refugees mainly from Sudan. She also met with Angolan refugees while filming Beyond Borders in Namibia.
Jolie with Colin Powell in Washington, D.C., June 2004.In 2003, Jolie embarked on a six-day mission to Tanzania where she traveled to western border camps, hosting Congolese refugees and she paid a week-long visit to Sri Lanka. She later concluded a four-day mission to Russia as she traveled to North Caucasus. Concurrently with the release of her movie Beyond Borders in October 2003 she published Notes from My Travels, a collection of journal entries that chronicle her early field missions (2001-2002). During a private stay in Jordan in December 2003 she asked to visit Iraqi refugees in Jordan’s remote eastern desert and later that month she went to Egypt to meet Sudanese refugees.
On her first U.N. trip within the United States, Jolie went to Arizona in 2004, visiting detained asylum seekers at three facilities and the Southwest Key Program, a facility for unaccompanied children in Phoenix. With the humanitarian situation in Sudan worsening, she flew to Chad in June 2004, paying a visit to border sites and camps for refugees who had fled fighting in western Sudan’s Darfur region. Four months later she returned to the region, this time going directly into West Darfur. Also in 2004, Jolie met with Afghan refugees in Thailand and on a private stay to Lebanon during the Christmas holidays, she visited UNHCR’s regional office in Beirut, as well as some young refugees and cancer patients in the Lebanese capital.
In 2005, Jolie visited Pakistani camps containing Afghan refugees, and she also met with Pakistan’s President Pervez Musharraf and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz; she returned to Pakistan with Brad Pitt during the Thanksgiving weekend in November to see the impact of the October 8 Kashmir earthquake. In 2006, Jolie and Pitt flew to Haiti and visited a school supported by Yéle Haïti, a charity founded by Haitian-born hip hop musician Wyclef Jean, and while filming A Mighty Heart in India, Jolie met with Afghan and Burmese refugees in New Delhi. She spent Christmas Day 2006 with Colombian refugees in San José, Costa Rica where she handed out presents. In 2007, Jolie returned to Chad for a two-day mission to assess the deteriorating security situation for refugees from Darfur; Jolie and Pitt subsequently donated $1 million to three relief organizations in Chad and Darfur.[49] Jolie also made her first visit to Syria and Iraq, where she met with Iraqi refugees as well as multi-national forces and U.S. troops.
Jolie and Condoleezza Rice at World Refugee Day 2005.With increasing experience, Jolie became more involved in promoting humanitarian causes on a political level. She regularly attends World Refugee Day in Washington, D.C., and she was an invited speaker at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2005 and 2006. Jolie also began lobbying humanitarian interests in the U.S. capital, where she met with congressmen and senators at least 20 times from 2003.[46] She explained in Forbes:
“ As much as I would love to never have to visit Washington, that’s the way to move the ball.[46] ”
In 2005, Jolie took part at a National Press Club luncheon, where she announced the founding of the National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children, an organization that provides free legal-aid to asylum-seeking children with no legal representation which Jolie personally funded with a donation of $500,000 for its first two years.[50] Jolie also pushed for several bills to aid refugees and vulnerable children in the Third World.[46] In addition to her political involvement, Jolie began using her public profile to promote humanitarian causes through the mass media. She filmed a MTV special, The Diary Of Angelina Jolie & Dr. Jeffrey Sachs in Africa, portraying her and noted economist Dr. Jeffrey Sachs on a trip to a remote group of villages in Western Kenya. There, Sachs’s United Nations Millennium Project team is working with locals to end poverty, hunger and disease. In 2006, Jolie announced the founding of the Jolie/Pitt Foundation which made initial donations to Global Action for Children and Doctors Without Borders of $1 million each.[51] Jolie also co-chairs the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, founded at the Clinton Global Initiative in 2006, which helps fund education programs for children affected by conflict.
Jolie has received wide recognition for her humanitarian work. In 2003, she was the first recipient of the newly created Citizen of the World Award by the United Nations Correspondents Association, and in 2005, she was awarded the Global Humanitarian Award by the UNA-USA.[52] Cambodia’s King Norodom Sihamoni awarded Jolie Cambodian citizenship for her conservation work in the country on August 12, 2005; she has pledged $5 million to set up a wildlife sanctuary in the north-western province of Battambang and owns property there.[53] In 2007, Jolie became a member of the Council on Foreign Relations,[54] and she received the Freedom Award by the International Rescue Committee
Angelina jolie received
1.Citizen of the World Award by the United Nations Correspondents Association –2003 ( This award was created for Jolie’s devotion to UNHCR work)
2.the Global Humanitarian Award by the UNA-USA.–2005
3.Cambodia’s King Norodom Sihamoni awarded Jolie Cambodian citizenship for her conservation work in the country.–2005
4. a member of the Council on Foreign Relations–2007
5.the Freedom Award by the International he International Rescue Committee–2007
bdj, thanks for the articles.
I thought the interview in VF was okay. I don’t think the writer needed to rehashed the whole past and bringing up Aniston name. She don’t have anything to do with the Jolie-Pitts anymore, it is over 3 freaking years, people need to let it go and get out of the damn past. And is this going to be a pattern from now on? Everytime Angie or Brad give an interview, the writers bringing up that woman name, I sure hope the hell not. I love the pictures. Angie is gorgeous
#523 Thanks for this articule.Love this gracious Lady.
