Vanessa Hudgens - MTV Movie Awards 2008
Vanessa Hudgens keeps it cute in Diane von Furstenberg while backstage at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday in Universal City, Calif.
Both Hudgens and costar boyfriend Zac Efron didn’t walk the gold carpet but posed together backstage with Zac’s popcorn statue for Breakthrough Performance.

Just wanted to drop in and say Hi to Zac and Vanessa Fans everywhere.I haven’t commented for a while,but check out JJ everyday.
Confession is good for the soul,or so they say !!! So I’m 43 and a Mom of 4 and I’m proud to be a Zac and Vanessa fan/supporter.
These two truly shine in Hollywood,both as individuals and as a couple.I love their chemistry,obvious delight in each others company,the way they support each other…..and those looks…..well…..don’t think I need to say anymore !!!!
It certainly looks like those who said Palm Springs was a turning point in them acknowledging their relationship were right,they seem much more open now,which I think is a good thing.
Anyway,so nice to see so many positive comments.Those who were around these threads from September to Christmas know how hate-filled and offensive it used to be.
Its also great to know that there are so many ‘older’ fans,as Karen said, a lot of younger fans can be much more fickle in their support.That said,there are a great many ‘young’fans on JJ who are FANTASTIC in their support .

I do too Liz. That’s one of the things I love about her. She always goes for the simple and elegant style. She brings out the potential of a dress most of the time.
I might sound really old now but I really really love that you rarely ever see her bra straps when she’s wearing a sleeveless top or gown. For me, she always appears very neat and classy. I get that young people might not mind it but for me except one is going to the gym or in exercise wear, please get a srapless bra or a bra with transparent straps! V wears that a lot and I’ve observed that no matter how low her tops are cut, one never sees her bra. That is a huge tick in my books.
Another big tick is her choice of handbags. She has great taste in bags and apart from once in 2006, I haven’t seen her with a handbag that has the designer’s name branded on it (I hope she’s binned that LV bag!). I love the understated style, yeah we know her bags are designers and expensive, but she doesn’t need to carry those as a badge, for that I’m grateful.
Looking at her pictures from 2006 till now, you can see she’s grown in her style in a positive way. Here’s to hoping she continues that way, simple, appropriate but still stunning!

i agree with you no. 491 there is no way that camp rock will be more successful because i’m from Ireland and the jonas brothers are not very popular in the area which i live in and besides the people in my school hate the jonas brother but they love hsm so i don’t think camp rock will be as big as hsm and also we will have to see what the critics say about their acting.
I watch the Disney Channel sometimes with my grandson and they advertise Camp Rock and the Jonas Brothers so much–between every commercial–that it’s reached overkill in my book. And we’re only watching a half-hour a few days a week. Also, I’ve seen clips from Camp Rock, and I’m certainly not impressed with any of the songs (the lyrics) or the singing. I’m sure it will be a cute movie that young girls will love and relate to. But as for any adults latching on to it the way we all did to HSM . . . I just don’t see that happening.
Since I didn’t know about HSM or HSM2 until August 16th, 2007 when I first saw HSM on the Disney Channel, I don’t know if they pushed either of them as much as they are pushing Camp Rock.
Yeah Malia i agree with you on that one because not only are the jonas brothers not popular where i live that some people don’t know who they are and others just don’t like them but all of my friends are counting down the days until hsm3 and so am i but camp rock is a no go for me. p.s i’m only 13
