I have not read any of Francine Rivers’ books. I have a friend who read a lot of her books, though, and she loves them. I used to read loads of things but my time is limited now in doing so. I must admit the my eyes are not what they should be anymore either which makes it harder.

Family Channel Introduces New Music

Family invites viewers to the cutting edge of music with exclusive Summer Sneaks listening parties. During Family’s Friday night Popcorn Pix films a secret code will appear on screen. Viewers are invited to visit Family.ca, enter the code, and listen to new, unreleased songs from hot artists, including new releases from Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens. The soundtrack from the Disney Original Movie Camp Rock will kick off Summer Sneaks on June 13 – four days before the album hits stores on June 17.

OKAY, JJ HAS REALLY CROSSED THE LINE WITH HIS NEW ZAC POST.

IT’S A STUPID MADE UP ARTICLE FROM STAR RAGAZINE.

IS HE THAT DESPERATE TO HAVE SOMETHING ON ZAC???

The worst thing about a Star “article” is that this story will get picked up by other ragazines and will go around the internet world for a few days like it is actually true. Star has a pretty poor track record in reporting reality.

#564 “Camp Rock” could possibly top “HSM2″ ratings in its premiere but I think the real question is does it have the staying power of the “HSM” movies do? I have my doubts about that. As a student and connesieur of pop culture I’ve noticed that when the studios try to consciously “create a pop culture phenomana” it never qutie works.

One of the more recent such failures is “Snakes on the Plane” there was manufactured internet buzz about that movie for almost a year before its release. Then it finally opened and it turned out to be flat out LOUSY (one of the worst times I’ve ever had at the movies). It quickly slithered out of the theaters and has been pretty much forgotten.

I’m not saying “Camp Rock” will be that bad. Who knows maybe it will be so good it will actually buck that trend and become just as big a francise as “HSM” like Disney hopes. But as I said I really have my doubts.
