Zac Efron - MTV Movie Awards 2008

The High School Musical star didn’t walk the gold carpet but accepted the award for Breakthrough Performance for his work in Hairspray. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Lindsay Lohan presented the award.

Looking handsome as always, acknowledging his co-workers, making a very humble and sweet speech, thanking his fans as well, bringing his brother to the show, having his supportive GF by his side - what more can I say? It was a very good night and I’m happy for him.

he’s gorgeous and hot but did not deserve the award. He only won because he’s so popular with the tweens who voted a million times.
congratulations to zac for once again winning an award based on popularity and cuteness alone. he was gracious and gorgeous as usual but really his co-star in HS was the real talent.

Zac looked very tired . He did manage to give a very humble acceptance speech and thanked Nikki blonsky ( she really should have won this hands down but let’s not forget this is Hollywood and popularity trumps talent) which was gracious of him. Congratulations Zac.
Good to see Zac again. Congratulations to him. Great to see him standing alongside of other females. I know the little troll of a girlfriend was there but at least we get some shots of him without her. Can you all tell I am not a fan of Vanessa….you know the fake one.
So glad Zac won the award. He really deserved it. Nice to see Vanessa was given time off to support him. THey really look great in these pics. Surprised to see Dylan there but glad he was able to support his bro. too. Maybe school is out for him already and he will spend a little time with Zac if Zac gets a day or two off. I have a feeling Zac and Vanessa may have driven to the awards but who knows?

Zac has always said he is very comfortable around women and it shows in a good way, but his main lady is not a troll but a very beautiful young lady who he has chosen to have in his life and seems very happy with.
Have to agree about Dylan it was nice to see that he still makes time to hang out with his brother as I can’t imagine that they get to do it very often except for maybe family things and seing how close Zac is to his family and how much they mean to him I bet he and Dylan had a great time.
Wonder if Zac and Vanessa will be going to theLaker’s game this weekend that would be a nice couple of days off for them just relaxing and having some fun before heading back to Utah and filming, although by all the interviews that have been coming out sounds like they are having fun while working hard.
<3 zac definitely deserved it. all the other nominees haven’t really exploded in the movie scene since their movie debut. but i wouldn’t know since i’m not checking out their fan sites i don’t know what their working on. although nikki blonski did a great job in the movie, she did not do tracy turnblad justice. i don’t like vanessa…i don’t hate her but i don’t like her…but she did look good, her hair and make up don’t change.

why did nikki not do justice to tracy? she was amazing in all aspects and if you don’t like her at least be fair…who would have done tracy justice….even zac was raving about nikki and what a great talent she is…
zac won this award due to his popularity and come to think of it his role in hairspray required very minimal acting as compared to what the other nominees did…but i’m a fan of zac but i am just being fair…seth rogen was great and so were the others but we know that zac may have had the most number of fans…
even zac himself was surprised that he won but he was very humble about it…he knew others deserved it more than him…

Zac was nominated cause his good job, not only for this popularity. If he wouldnt won, he always aprecciated the nomination. But he won, cause his role in the movie and his actitude like a growing actor. Congra to Zac.
