OlderAngelina Jolie Wigs Out in Green
New pictures of Angelina Jolie from the July 2008 issue of Vanity Fair have surfaced. (The green wig was Ms. Jolie’s idea! It’s also pictured in the background of this photo.)
The photos were taken Jan. 31, before everybody’s favorite humanitarian, mother, and sex goddess publicly announced that she was expecting twins in August. Here are some new quotes from her interview, where she lets us inside her celebrity bubble:
On why they named their daughter Shiloh: “It’s a biblical name,” she told me, “but we didn’t name her for that. It was a name my parents almost named their first child—there was a miscarriage: Shiloh Baptist. Because my father had been shooting in Georgia and that was the most southern name [my parents] could come up with. It’s a name I always liked. I used to go under it in hotels: Shiloh Baptist. I’d gone under it when [Brad] called hotel rooms where I was staying.”
On how she plans on raising her kids religion-wise: “[My mother] was Catholic but also a child of the 60s. She stopped going to confession at one point because she was having sex before marriage. To me, she represented what religion should be. She never preached. If things didn’t make sense to her, she never just accepted it. I had Communion, but she never forced me to go to church. Brad got me this great thing for Christmas. It’s a bookshelf that has a book on every religion. That’s how we plan to raise our kids. Teach them about all religions. They can pick one or be a student of all of them. We’ll celebrate Kwanzaa for our girl. We’ll celebrate moon and water festivals for our boys. We’ll take them to temples in certain countries. Also to church.”
On Brad Pitt coming into her life unexpectedly: “After my last divorce, I said I was absolutely going to marry somebody in another field, an aid worker or something. Then I met Brad, everything I wasn’t looking for, but the best man, the best father I could possibly wish for, you know? I don’t see him as an actor. I see him very much as a dad, as somebody who loves travel and architecture more than being in movies.”
On her father Jon Voight and his film Coming Home, which he won the best-actor Oscar in 1979: “Actually. I’ve never seen Coming Home. Because that was when my father left my mom, and the woman who he cheated on her with is in the film.” (When rumors surfaced about Jolie and Pitt, who was then married to Aniston, Jolie denied them, saying, in essence, Look, this is what happened to my mother, so I could never do it to another woman.)

Putrid doesn’t do the macrobiotic thing anymore. I’m pretty sure during the Iron Man press blitz she gave an interview and said she gave it up a few years ago…and now loves fried food and doesn’t think she can go back. No shite, Sherlock. She said that’s why she started working out again - because she was getting thick around the middle from scarfing down real food.

You know what’s funny? That’s not even the real reason we do it! LOL. It actually started because we were going boycott her name and I started calling her She Who Shall Remain Nameless or SWSRN for short. Then I got lazy and didn’t want to type all of that out just to make fun of her…so someone on the board suggested using “X” instead! Every since then she’s been X to me. Someone with more patience than I have needs to give you a lesson in genetics. If Angie is inseminated with sperm from someone other than Brad, then it’s not possible to have a “black Brad” or an “Asian Brad”. Brad’s sperm would have to be inseminated in a woman of those races in order to achieve the results you’re looking for. I’m sure any number of women here would volunteer for the job…provided the insemination was performed the old-fashioned way!

George Clooney didn’t just break off his fairytale romance with Sarah Larson — he did it abruptly, leaving the former cocktail waitress shocked and heartbroken and moving back to Las Vegas, friends of the former couple tell FOXNews.com.
“She thought they were getting married. Instead, she got dumped,” a friend said. “She’s really upset. Devastated.”
Larson found herself teary-eyed, packing her bags and walking out the door of the home the couple had shared in Los Angeles.
Friends said the 29-year-old fled to Las Vegas, where she was working at a nightclub in the Palms Casino Hotel before Clooney swept her off her feet one year ago.
The pretty brunette, a former “Fear Factor” reality show contestant, is already back with her old crowd. Larson made her first public appearance since the breakup on Saturday at the Palms Place Hotel & Spa’s grand opening party.
As things got serious with Clooney, Larson had moved into his Los Angeles mansion, subletting her home in Las Vegas. Tongues wagged that she might be “the one” when he took her to the Oscars this year.
Less than a month ago, the couple were in New York celebrating the actor’s 47th birthday. They were taking it slow, but they were planning to eventually wed, they told friends at the time.
“She’s totally heartbroken and doesn’t deserve this,” a friend said. “It came out of nowhere. They had made all these plans.”
Adding insult to injury, friends say, is this month’s issue of Harper’s Bazaar, which features Larson posed on a motorcycle, clad in Dolce & Gabbana.
The headline reads: “It Girl: Sarah Larson. Don’t hate her because she’s beautiful, fearless … and dates George Clooney.”
Even more painful: In the accompanying interview, Larson gushes about the love of her life, George Clooney.
The Oscar-winning actor/director/producer is one of Hollywood’s notorious bachelors — he’s been named People magazine’s Most Eligible Bachelor and Sexiest Man Alive (twice) and has been romantically tied to a bevy of Hollywood beauties.
He’s been married once, for four years to actress Talia Balsam. Ever since their split in 1993, Clooney has sworn he’ll never remarry. He’s had relationships with actresses Krista Allen and television host Lisa Snowdon.

Could I just point out to those arguing that its better they sell the photos to a mag and donate to charity than allow a sneaky pap get the pic and make all the cash, that Brangie, just like Britney are totally in league with the paparazzi. They have a deal with them, just as Britney did, where they tell the paps where they’re going to be and receive a percentage of the money made by selling the photos. This used to be half and is now rumoured to be 2/3 - a substantial amount of cash. This is why they’re so bloody over-exposed lately, they’re doing more pap shots to pay for that new house they’re renting. Seriously have you never wondered why they’re always so immaculately turned out in every supposedly unplanned pap shot? Angie always has full make-up and hair, sometimes they’re even wearing bloody co-ordinating outfits (see pics of Jolie carrying Shiloh and Zahara all wearing matching black dresses). Seriously this pictures game is BIG business. Thats where most of their earnings comes from right now, they’re not making films. Perhaps they will donate some of this money to charity, but they can write it off against all the tax they should be paying on the money they get from other pictures so they won’t be losing a penny. The notion that they’re selfless philanthropists is nonsense. At least JLo etc don’t bother to pretend they’re doing it for someone else’s benefit - at least they’re honest about how mercenary they’re being.
Hi irma and guli I hope this posts, yes guli, I am ready to party smile. Angelina will be 33, she has done so much.
