OlderAngelina Jolie Wigs Out in Green
New pictures of Angelina Jolie from the July 2008 issue of Vanity Fair have surfaced. (The green wig was Ms. Jolie’s idea! It’s also pictured in the background of this photo.)
The photos were taken Jan. 31, before everybody’s favorite humanitarian, mother, and sex goddess publicly announced that she was expecting twins in August. Here are some new quotes from her interview, where she lets us inside her celebrity bubble:
On why they named their daughter Shiloh: “It’s a biblical name,” she told me, “but we didn’t name her for that. It was a name my parents almost named their first child—there was a miscarriage: Shiloh Baptist. Because my father had been shooting in Georgia and that was the most southern name [my parents] could come up with. It’s a name I always liked. I used to go under it in hotels: Shiloh Baptist. I’d gone under it when [Brad] called hotel rooms where I was staying.”
On how she plans on raising her kids religion-wise: “[My mother] was Catholic but also a child of the 60s. She stopped going to confession at one point because she was having sex before marriage. To me, she represented what religion should be. She never preached. If things didn’t make sense to her, she never just accepted it. I had Communion, but she never forced me to go to church. Brad got me this great thing for Christmas. It’s a bookshelf that has a book on every religion. That’s how we plan to raise our kids. Teach them about all religions. They can pick one or be a student of all of them. We’ll celebrate Kwanzaa for our girl. We’ll celebrate moon and water festivals for our boys. We’ll take them to temples in certain countries. Also to church.”
On Brad Pitt coming into her life unexpectedly: “After my last divorce, I said I was absolutely going to marry somebody in another field, an aid worker or something. Then I met Brad, everything I wasn’t looking for, but the best man, the best father I could possibly wish for, you know? I don’t see him as an actor. I see him very much as a dad, as somebody who loves travel and architecture more than being in movies.”
On her father Jon Voight and his film Coming Home, which he won the best-actor Oscar in 1979: “Actually. I’ve never seen Coming Home. Because that was when my father left my mom, and the woman who he cheated on her with is in the film.” (When rumors surfaced about Jolie and Pitt, who was then married to Aniston, Jolie denied them, saying, in essence, Look, this is what happened to my mother, so I could never do it to another woman.)

ROTFLMAO. Missed Angie’s triumphant week at Cannes, did ya? Why would Angie use botox, moron? She’s not even 33 yet. Her skin is still beautiful and clear with slight crows feet when she smiles. Unlike a certain former sitcom hacktress I could name who’s knocking on the door of 40 with her sea-weed wrapped-cellulite-reducing ass, collegen lips, 4-time nose job, restylane-filled mouth-brackets, dyed blond hair, blue contact lens and botoxed-to-the-max forehead.
Brad and Angie attended the Broadcast Film Critics Awards (BFCA) on January 7, 2008. She wears a low cut short black dress. You can see a bit of a tummy on Angie in one of the photos where she is returning to her table. Her boobs are enormous.
You really couldn’t see anything in the brown pattern silk Hermes gown she wore to the SAG Awards. I think it was Hermes. That was January 27. At most you could see a bit of an outline of something when the gown moved.
You also couldn’t see how big she was at the Santa Barbara Film Fest with Clint Eastwood on February 2. That outfit also disguised her size.
We finally got a look at her bump at the Independent Spirit Awards on February 24. The black form fitting dress emphasized her belly and made it seem bigger than it probably was.
If she got pregnant in October when there were reports of her fainting on the set of Changeling then she was about 5 months pregnant in late February. That’s what she looked.
Which means she’s probably due end of June early July. With twins she’ll probably deliver early. In May she said that she had a few months left to go. That makes sense. The rest of May and most of June if not into early July.
It’s not rocket science.

I thought it wasn’t Formula One racing which is why they were pleased to get a big celebrity like Pitt attending.
She is oh so beautiful in all of these pictures. I really don’t like the one they chose for the cover; lips too red and hair too poofy. The other pictures are pure Angelina. She is one woman that does not need any “help” to look beautiful.
As far as the interview goes, I think words can be twisted or edited in such a way to mean something else and come back to bite the person interviewed in the tush. It’s best not to read an interview and treat it as the Gospel truth. The magazine is in the business of selling magazines and making things spicy or scandalous sells!

Why can’t you just accept that the guy had already asked to be free of the chains before he started going after the one he really wanted? OK, I’ll throw in my two cents worth re the VF article.
1-the woman is GORGOUS!!! Those pix are awesome and even the haters know that and are going bananas…which I personally enjoy when they lose their sh!t..nuf said.
2-they are in love and they are lucky to have found each other since they both admire and appreciate being together. It’s obvious they have common goals and out look at life in general and support each other completely.
3-the interview was OK but boring as heck other than Angie’s quotes. For crying out loud, EVERYONE around the world KNOWS Angie’s and Brad’s past. So what the fcuk was this idiot doing rehashing something we all KNOW. Did he think he was going to make us shocked and the whole world shocked (idiot X’s quote) . If I were interviewing her I would have asked about the present and their future goals and interests. So JMHO the interview ain’t bad but boring ….BUT I will buy VF for the pix…man that’s a keeper.
4-The idiot didn’t focus on why he was interviewing her…OK, let me rephrase that ..the idiot didn’t realize why he was rewarded with an amazing opportunity to interview a HW ICON…. which was her current movie Wanted and as an actress. Of course we expected personal questions, but he turned into a tabloid interviewer asking about her past and her personal life instead of why he was lucky enough to have been granted this interview…IMO as an interviewer he blew it, but I also believe he meant well. As I watched the video from VF he really is in awe with her. But he just couldn’t make this a unique interview, he just repeated same old same old stuff we already know from years ago. Sooo, how much time did he take to ask about WANTED, or JP’s future etc, well minimal .. :lol: :lol:
