Full House actress Ashley Olsen rocks a simple black and white number at the 2008 CFDA Fashion Awards at the New York Public Library on Monday in New York City.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America handed out its annual awards at its evening ceremony. The event is like the Oscars of fashion!

OMG! She’s not dresses like a freak, or a baglady. Thumbs up for her - and I think that’s a first.
She’s better then that look, she can look gorgeous when she wants to. However, as of late she’s looked so much happier I don’t care what she wears. Her finger however looks strangled by her ring.. ouch.

I love that Ashley. so classy and understated at the same time. At first glance, she looks like she’s trying hard to pull off this look but after a while, I realized how unique she looks and how well she’s pulled this off…there’s a Marlene Dietrich/Asian/I Dream Jeanie feel to it. She’s the best!

I think she is too short for that of outfit. It only suits tall lean women like models. But since it’s in memory of YSL, well, that’s ok.
