Nikki Blonsky Targets Converse
Nikki Blonsky smiles away at the Target and Converse One Star Collection Movie Awards after party at the Lot in West Hollywood on Sunday.
The 19-year-old Hairspray actress recently shared about her obsession with perfume! “I wear it everyday. I wear perfume no matter what season it is,” said Nikki. “I have to be wearing perfume. No matter if I’m staying at home or if I’m going out, I have to be wearing it. “My favorite perfume is Escada Magnetism. I wear that on dates. Marc Jacobs Daisy I wear when it’s a spring day. Vera Wang when I’m going to events. And then I wear Euphoria by Calvin Klein when I’m hanging around the house.”
This summer Ms. Blonsky is working on her first album! Can’t wait!

why should there be pics of nikki and zac? they did a movie together and promoted it. they worked together. the movie and promotion are done.
zac has been in the business since he was 13 and he knows how to keep a working relationship just that.
true, nikki is new to the business and may have had a crush on him. but zac is a true professional and he did not reciprocate those feelings. maybe he told in in a very nice way to “bug off.”
If people don’t care about Kelly Clarkson, they definitely don’t care about Nikki.

How the hell do you know how Zac feels??? You don’t personally know him, so stop assuming, it’s his own business anyway, at least the whole world doesn’t know about his personal life unlike a certain someone else who shall remain nameless.

no actually leslie has an excellent point. if they were ’such good frineds’ why arent they hanging out anymore? simple answer: they probably weren’t that great of friends to start with. that and nikki’s crush on him (which was as obvious as night and day) probably made things awkward. but the kiss, the hanging out, whatever, it was all for promotion. i dont doubt they respected each other, but they certainly werent ‘joined at the hip’. im not stating this as a fact, because no one knows, but why is zac keeping his distance now that the movies out and promotions over with?

I have to say, the thing that showed me that the friendship between Zac and Nikki is still there was that he took the time to thank her last night. He had already congratulated his fellow nominees and thanked the cast and crew so he didn’t have to single her out and thank her individually but he did. That says a lot, IMO.
Whether they just have a friendship or something more, we may never know but it was good to see them last night doing what friends do…supporting each other.
And as for them not hanging out anymore I’ll say this. If Zac’s only friends are the people he is photographed with then he must have a very small circle. Just because we don’t see them hanging out doesn’t mean that they don’t. That just means they weren’t caught or the paps weren’t tipped off as to their whereabouts. Zac has mentioned that he hangs out withhis old childhood friends in interviews and stuff but as far as I know we’ve never seen pics of him hanging out with them. But that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.
Point is, just because it’s not captured by a camera doesn’t mean it’s not happening

Okay. These are the facts.
Zac is in love with Vanessa. Vanessa’s in love with Zac. They’re constantly photographed at award shows, shopping, out for lunch, going into his apartment etc. and in nearly every set of photos they look happy and smiley around each other.
Zac and Nikki are friends. I’m guessing they were a lot closer when Hairspray filming/promotion was going on than they are now. They’ve never been photographed seperate from something to do with Hairspray.
When Zac thanked Nikki on stage, he did not smile, his eyes didn’t light up. However, if you watch the Extra interview where he talks about keeping up with Vanessa his whole face just literally lights up as well as the interview behind the scenes of Seventeen Again where he talks about his relationship being sacred and again his face lights up.
Zac and Nikki did not have a secret relationship, if you all claim to be fans of Zac’s, do you think such a lovely guy would do that to the girl he loves? Yes, she had a crush on him. It was unrequited. And those are facts.

Love her! Love her! Love her! She is real , honest , fresh and totally talented. I would also like to add that she really deserved to get the breakout award over her co-star Efron. In Hollywood when you let tweens vote the hottie will win every time. congratulations to Zac for his charm and classy acceptance speech. He obviously respects Nikki a whole lot more then people on this site.
She is really beautiful and has a major talent. Nikki and Zac were adorable together on and off the set of HS. She complemented her and he did the same. Would love to see them together if he could get rid of that albatross of a Vanessa.

Oh honey, maybe you should stop reading fanfiction for a minute and come back to the real world. Not only does your post sound like some big Zikki fangirl fantasy, but it’s way too silly to even come close to the truth.
How could Zac have been dating Nikki since the filming of Hairspray (two years ago) if he was seen with Vanessa in Hawaii just months before the promotion of Hairspray a year later? If Zac was really dating Nikki, why did we see more pictures of him and Vanessa together, instead of him and Nikki? Why did he talk about Vanessa more?
I know there are tons of girls out there who relate to Nikki and want to think even a girl like her can lead a hottie like Zac, but that isn’t the case this time around. Sorry.

She should have won that “breakout” award. Efron is a sissy boy who gets where he is because of the teenage population who obcess about him.
Nikki Blonsky is the new Hollywood. Pretty, confident and extremely talented. She is one gorgeous young woman who will have much success. Love her relationship with Zac, too. I read somewhere that they talk often and e-mail all the time. Good for their freindship.

Really people, have you heard of publicity? I’ve never said that Zac doesn’t or didn’t at one time really like Vanessa, or possibly even love her, but now? I just don’t see it. I don’t see chemistry or anything. Just two people who work together and are comfortable with each other. I don’t see them lasting once HSM3 is over.
Zac and Nikki had chemistry. Good chemistry based on a good friendship, it came from both of their mouths multiple times. If we’re going to discount anything said about Nikki for promotional purposes, then I guess we have to do the same thing for Vanessa, and that narrows down his comments alot too. They’re both his costars. For right now I see that he’s with Vanessa, thats fine. But they’re both young and famous and will probably move on to other people once they’re not making movies any more. So as much as you say that Zikki is a fantasy, so is Zanessa.
And I personally enjoyed seeing BOTH girls proud of Zac at the awards. He looked uncomfortable and I was glad he had people there to encourage him and be proud of him. For how famous he is, Zac still seems to be rather shy in front of big crowds and I’m glad that BOTH of them were there to support him.

Did it ever occur to any of you nikki fans that your insistance there is something more between them then friendship may be the reason zac seems to be keeping his distance from her even as a friend? What does he have to do to prove to you there is nothing going on between them? He even went so far as to say that the kiss on that talk show should not have happened.
I am a beautiful, (inside and out) overweight woman like Nikki and think she can go the distance if she puts her mind to it. She deserves to have a great guy in her life, but the truth of the matter is, that guy is not zac.

Thank you, I’m a Vanessa fan who really likes Nikki because I think she’s a great girl too. However, other Nikki fans make me cringe at their obsession and delusion about Zac and Nikki.
Nikki’s fans do her the greatest injustice and are so unfair to her. Why does every post about her be linked to Zac? Are we not secure in her achievements and personality that we have to bring other female stars down just to make her look good? Why should Nikki fans hate Vanessa because she is with Zac, is Zac the only prize stud? Does Nikki need him to make her life complete? Does she not have her on man that she’s proud of? Why does this have to be a rivalry?
I’ve never heard Van make a comment about Nikki and vice versa, I prefer to assume that they have a professional respect for each other ( Vanessa did not appear to mind Zac thanking Nikki and she should not as that was the right and professional thing to do), why can’t their fans be that responsible and mature?
Another thing that bothers me as a Nikki fan is that I go to Vanessa’s threads and despite a few tweens most of the posters are mature and manage to have a lot to say about Vanessa without bringing in any other celebrities and a lot of times, a lot to say without bringing in Zac at all.
I go to fanforum as a lurker and Vanessa is the the most popular female celebrity and her boards have the most number of posts, more than jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon etc. Only two threads there have anything to do with Zac, the rest are about her, her music, roles, friendships with Ashley, Aly, Corbin, Chris Brown etc She has many fans on her board that don’t post on the Zac thread. Vanessa’s fans give her more credit than Nikki’s fans give Nikki. With all the popularity of Zanessa, they still manage to allow Vanessa a life independent of Zac. What about Nikki?
Does Nikki have a board? No! Are her fans interested in starting one? No! All they’re interested in is to go to Zac’s board and maintain a thread about Zac and Nikki as if all there is to her is the delusional fantasy of being with Zac. And to think that it is women that do this!
Nikki deserves so much better! there is much more to her that can fill a whole forum than to always be cast in the role of ‘the other woman’ by her fans. It shows that many of these fans are just interested in Zac and do not appreciate Nikki for the beautiful girl she is.
Nikki and Vanessa are both beautiful, strong and independent women who happen to have their own respective boyfriends and trying to chart their careers. You don’t have to put down one to boost the other (this also goes to Vanessa fans).
#62, shame on you! Nikki’s life goal does not consist of being thanked publicly by Zac.

zikki fans are considered silly by many people (not just zanessa fans) for this reason: they insist that something thats probably never going to happen, is definitely going to happen. zacs only seen with nikki when theyre promoting something. of course, theres a lot of zac we dont see, but if he was spending as much time with nikki as you guys like to think he is, then we definitely would have seen them together at least once before.
the whole idea of “untapped potential” is crazy. i cant say for sure about nikki, but i doubt zac even likes her that way. i doubt he ever did. just because you get along well with someone doesnt mean your a perfect match. sometimes it works out that way, and your lucky. but other times, you can get along well with someone and still not be right for them.
Kenna, the people on the Zac and Nikki board have been campaigning for quite a while to get a Nikki board, we just haven’t gotten one yet. And you might as well get used to the fact that Nikki is well known because she starred in a movie with Zac and is good friends with him. That is a FACT. But its also a fact that she is an AMAZING and TALENTED woman who can stand on her own two feet. She will get more of a fanbase as she continues to make more movies and albums, etc. But Hairspray was her beginning, like it or not, and thats not going to change.
So everyone freaking stop with the conversations about Zanessa, Zac, or Zikki. Save it for a place where its appriciated. What will be will be and none of that will change with all the rudeness and name calling that goes on.

No offense, but you have no idea what you are talking about. We Nikki fans have been trying to get her a board for months. He friendship with Zac is not why we like her. I can’t speak for everyone but can say for certain my reasons for being a Nikki fan have nothing to do with Zac.

Hey gang just read that Nikki may be in a tv comedy show as a main character next year. Wow! that would be great…she is a wonderful talent and courageous young lady for pursuing her dreams despite all the haters out there. She is beautiful and a true role model.
Love this girl! I think what intrigues me the most is her ability to just go out there and be who she is despite the odds. She’s the real deal and a sweetheart of a person who deserves the best with all the talent she has!

Wow you finally acknowledge Nikki at an event that u posted about. There has been numerous events recently liked he Fifi Awards and her Harold Premiere which you never posted about. Then you dont even post pics of her at the MTV Movie Awards…she was nominated not like some other people u posted about that was only there as someone’s date and not recognized for their talented work. Even MTV notices her and showed her in the audience alot….especially that great moment of Zac thanking her in his acceptance speech and her cheering him on “I Love You Zaccy”! But all we get is pics of her at an aftery party….and she looked amazing! All the websites and entertainment shows gushed about how great she looks and again you posted an unflatering pic of her. There arent many but for some reason, you seem to find it and post it. I want you to know Nikki has a lot of fans and just keep that in mind.

YAY A post about Nikki! Thanks Jared!!!!! Can you add some of the amazing pictures of Nikki from before the show? Also, thanks for your comment about the perfumes that came from an interview with Nikki at the Fifi awards a few weeks ago. Too bad we didn’t get a JJ post on Nikki from that night, or from the premiere of Harold in NY or her attendance at the Cry-Baby premiere on Broadway or at the Indy IV premiere in NY. She also hosted the Voice awards in LA the other day.
OMG I loved her hair! So full and shiny and fun! Her dress was fun and totally appropriate for MTV.
Since so many people have been talking about it, I’ll give my thoughts. I think it was great that she was so genuinely proud of her friend Zac, and wonderful to see him thank her. I think the way he thanked her shows that it was more special than a run of the mill speech thank-you. Whatever their relationship was/is/could be, I don’t know. No one does. But seeing their little moment at the awards, the way he thanked her, how she cheered for him and called him Zaccy, just shows me that the connection they have is real. At PSIFF the first thing he did when he saw her was to hug her. Whatever that means is between them. Again, between them. They may not hang out together all the time. Maybe they do connect when she’s in LA. and they don’t do it in front of cameras. (I’m sure Zac has a lot more friends than the 5 people he has ever been photographed with by paparazzi). I don’t know. But I can tell that they are important to each other, they have each had a significant impact on each other, and that they shared an unforgettable and life-changing experience. I think it is disrespectful of people to say that Zac would never date her because of her body. He has commented on that very issue many times, actually. I’m not saying that they have dated, or even that he wants to date her, just that thinking he never would makes him seem quite shallow, and I think he has a lot more to him than that. What I have seen between them in interviews and off-camera moments that were caught on film shows that he cares about her and is attracted to her. I think he is as attracted to her spirit, her courage, her charisma, her sense of fun, as anything else. I think they respect each other a great deal, and that they would stick up for each other, and that they could say anything to each other and it would be ok. It is also possible to be interested in someone, have a crush on someone, and be in a relationship with someone else. And I really think that Zac has as much of a crush on Nikki as she has on him. I’m not saying that they have ever acted on their crushes, or that they ever will. But I really do think that Zac looks at Nikki and acts around her the way he does with Vanessa. Body language is a lot, and I have seen a lot with Zac and lots of people he has been filmed with (Psyc degrees do come in handy lol). I also think that the chemistry between Zac and Nikki is fun and great stuff to inspire the imagination. Why not?
But, there is a whole lot more to this girl than Zac Efron. I just wanted to say my two cents on this conversation.
Nikki is a dynamo! She has spunk! She sees the best in people. She accepts anyone and everyone. She is professional and responsible and confident and outgoing and caring. She carries herself so well, from the very beginning of Hairspray promotions. So much that Zac and Queen Latifah have commented on that. She has a killer voice that will only get stronger with time. She has such a natural way in front of the camera, and on a set, like she was made for it. She is a beautiful girl. Yes, she is overweight. For the record, she has lost quite a bit of weight since the fall, and is looking more and more fantastic and happy all the time. She is inspiring. She is the kind of young woman that I would be proud for my students to look up to. She is where she is because of her talent and charisma and personality and the respect that she has earned from people in the business. She is down to earth and open and honest and has no veils she hides behind. I believe in her. I believe in her dreams and I believe in her character and I believe in her potential to go to amazing heights. But, more importantly, she believes in herself. She knows who she is in a way that is exceptionally rare for a woman so young. Her family is proud of her. Her friends are proud of her. Her fans are proud of her.
I am thrilled that Nikki is working on an album of original material that she is writing herself. That shows that she has passion for what she does, and that her music really means something to her. I really respect that about her. I’m looking forward to seeing her in Harold this summer, and just seeing where she takes herself and what new challenges she goes for. She has talent, and she is genuinely a nice person. She’ll go far in life, and I am honoured to a witness to it.

As far as chemistry, you can’t tell anyone who knows about Zac and Vanessa’s relationship that they don’t have it when we see it all the time with them, in every glance or touch or smile. I can’t wait for what she has coming up - a new movie premiering this summer, an album in the works, and now it looks like a television series is being developed for her! She is truly a breakout star and as much as I love Zac, I think she should have won the award last night. I’m guessing he thinks so, too, because he didn’t seem to think he deserved it, especially when she was the star of Hairspray and he had what amounted to really a supporting role.
It’s refreshing to see two young actors/celebrities who obviously have a lasting friendship. It takes a strong man to be friends with a girl when he is dating someone else. I think Nikki is important enough to him for him to keep that friendship alive. They likely don’t hang out much because they live on opposite coasts, but when they are together you can really see how much they care for one another. Kudos to Zac for acknowledging her during his speech, and for her being there to support him last night even though she had just lost an award to him! That is a classy young lady!
As far as his or her love life, I think they both deserve to be happy whomever they are with, and frankly, I think Nikki’s love of live and strong spirit are appealing to a lot of men. It wouldn’t surprise me if *she* chose not to become involved with Zac. They certainly spent enough time together during/after Hairspray to become very close, and he was obviously more than happy to be in her company. She has so much of her life and career ahead of her. She’s smart to not enter into any relationship where she would be mentioned only in reference to who she was dating.

I think that one thing some people have to understand is that shipping a couple is supposed to be about having fun. It’s about looking for the little things, the small gestures and a turn of phrase and a look or touch that just hints at something. It’s about noticing what isn’t said, too. It is also about being silly and creative and imaginative and building relationships with the people you talk to online. It is about looking for the potential, the possibility. No one really knows what happens between two people when you aren’t part of their lives. No one knows what someone feels in their heart. No one knows what conversations people have had or feelings they’ve shared or the dreams they’ve had in their lives. I’m not delusional. I don’t have my head in the sand. I can see what is in front of me. But, the difference is that I also can see hope and possibility, and affection and a connection that isn’t splashed on magazine pages and exploited by TV tabloids. I think the people that criticize Zikki fans need to understand that it’s all in fun, and not take it seriously. Relax.
Anyway, this thread is about celebrating Nikki, and I am thrilled for her! I hear that she has a TV show in development for her, as well as her album, and I’m so excited for her!

If nikki had not been up for the same award, she would not havwe been there and he would probably have just said “thanks to the cast”.
Wow! I like Nikki Blonsky and personally have enjoyed her performance in Hairspray. But as far as the so-called strong bond, chemistry or supposed special friendship they shared or potential romantic ties that they may have in the future, I personally don’t see that at all. To compare Zanessa with Zikki is totally different in the sense that Zac and Vanessa are in a real relationship. I don’t see the point in bringing up Zac into this thread in the first place. Nikki can stand on her own. To assume even further that Zac’s polite thank you to Nikki means more than what it is at face value is really stretching it too far.

That sounds awesome, I have seen videos of comedy bits Nikki has done with her high school and they were great so I think she would do an amazing job at a comedy show devedloped for television. I happen to love this girl, I loved watching her in Hairspray, and she’s got a lot of talent which I can’t wait to see more of.
However, I have to say that all those who believe so exceedingly that there was, is, or will be something more than friendship between her and Zac are living in a fantasy world. Yes they’ve held hands here and there, yes, he tongued her on MOD, yes, they have great chemistry, yes, he hugged her and “ran his hand along her back” back in January, but he hadn’t seen her in a while and some of you read into things WAY too much.
But really, to say that there’s potentially been more between them, WHILE he was with Vanessa nevertheless, is completely out of line not just because Zac is with Vanessa, but because you want so badly for Zac and Nikki to be something more that you wouldn’t care what he did when it came to Vanessa. Some of you say that the Zanessa fans are really shallow, and while that’s true for some ignorant, immature posters, I myself am a huge fan of Zac and Vanessa as individuals and as a couple and I’m a fan of Nikki, so I really don’t understand why some of you so-called Zac fans would love to see him ditch Vanessa, maybe even cheat on her, just as long as him and Nikki are together. It makes me cringe to know that some of you wait there, day after day, hoping and wishing with all your heart that THIS time, that break-up rumour will be true and all your Zikki dreams will finally be within reach.
And all the excuses about Zanessa are obviously really old already: It’s publicity, they’re unhappy, Zac looks depressed whenever he’s around Vanessa, as soon as HSM3 is done, they’re done too, that’s all BS. Yes, I don’t know everything, no one does, but to say that two people who have been dating since BEFORE they were famous, since BEFORE HSM ever premiered and became the phenomenon that it is, are publicity, is plain ridiculous.
I mean, just as Nikki got her life-changing role through HS, so Zac and Vanessa got their life-chaning roles through HSM. Everything changed for them when that movie premiered. Suddenly came fame, red carpets, interviews, media attention, paparazzi, and eventually of course the never-ending list of haters and cynics who would do anything and make themselves believe anything to escape the fact that Zac is with Vanessa, that he CHOSE Vanessa. They’ve been side by side, been through everything, been there for each other and still have that indescribable, breath-taking look in their eyes and on their faces after nearly three years of being together.
I laugh when people say he looks unhappy around Vanessa, because they’re just refusing to see what’s right in front of them, they’re denying reality. Zac hasn’t and doesn’t look at any girl the way he looks at Vanessa-not Kay Panabaker, not Brenda Song, not Monique Coleman, not Ashley Tisdale, and yes, not even Nikki Blonsky. Vanessa Hudgens is the girl he steals glances at, whose name makes him blush and his eyes sparkle, who wears his jacket when she is cold, whose hand he takes, who makes him smile like no one else. I know one day Nikki will have her own amazing man in her life, but that man is not Zac Efron. And did anyone ever stop and think, and remember that you can’t help who you fall for? It just happens, NO ONE can tell you who to be with, for all you saying that Disney is behind their relationship, Zac is a grown man who can make his own decisions.
He decided he should act on his feelings, he himself has said that him and Vanessa fell in love while making HSM and that is evident every day no matter how much people critize them, no matter how much cynics and non-believers analize their pictures, no matter how much they wish he would be with someone other than Vanessa, no matter how much some Nikki fans think she’s the girl for him. Everyone has an opinion, everyone can believe what they want to believe, everyone can embrace what they want to embrace. I happen to be of the opinion that Nikki is an amazing girl, but I’m not of the belief that she’s the girl for Zac. I’ve seen reality for a long time, I’ve seen Zac and Vanessa interacting, seen their love for each other, for a long time, and I choose to embrace that reality.

Zac filmed Hairspray with Nikki, then went to Utah to film HSM 2 with Vanessa who as it is reported was glued to her. They were caught cuddling in their private quarters more than once. Then they went off to Hawaii for a private vacation. Zac and Vanessa were together at the Hairspray premiere in LA where it was reported they sat together holding hands throughout the movie. It was there that Zac also laughed when questioned about that infamous kiss withe Nikki on that one interview. He said it was like kissing his sister and that he had actually wiped the kiss off afterwards, and he did do that. I guess that was one of those romantic moments between them. Then came the Australian premiere where Zac and Vanessa were together again. Just how many couple travel the globe together who are not intimately involved with each other? You must remember that all these things happened before HSM 2 was released and nobody knew it would be such a big hit much less that there would be a big screen movie made of it. So that blows the theory Zac is with Vanessa to promote HSM 3. Also all this took place before that naughty picture was released of Vanessa to the world. Not once did Zac and Vanessa go their separate ways after that either. There are tons of documentation of that fact right here on JJ. From the time Hairspray was released there are constant pics of Zac and Vanessa together nearly every day. There are none of Zac and Nikki. With Zac being with Vanessa and working I don’t know when Zac would have had the chance to be with Nikki, nor is it believable that given the way the paps follow Zac around that one wouldn’t have gotten a picture of the two if they had seen each other on an occasion that wasn’t Hairspray involved. The paps would have loved nothing better than to catch Zac with some other female, especially someone like Nikki. Also, the thing about seeing pain in Nikki’s eyes at the MTV awards, yes I could see it when she was screaming making a spectacle of herself with “I love you Zaccy!” She looked all teary, for sure.
Furthermore, if Zac had had any kind of romantic feelings for this girl, he could have made his move while filming since he wasn’t a married man and according to reports he and Vanessa had an agreement between them that each should date if that’s what each other wanted to do since they would be away from each other so long. Also, once apart from Nikki, if he felt something special in that way he could easily have gone off to Australia alone and made those feelings known without Vanessa. But he chose to leave Toronto and go quickly back to Vanessa by whose side he has stayed. And again, all these things happened before the picture was released so he didn’t have to be there for her support. He also told Billy Bush on Access Hollywood how he had entered into his first love during the HSM filming and it was a scared thing to him and why he doesn’t talk publicly about it. Have any of you notice the last several threads on JJ in regards to Zac and Vanessa? They seem quite romantic to me. Look at the basketball photos there in Utah. As a matter of fact, all the JJ threads since he arrived in Utah from Europe where he was filming since mid-February.
OMG who cares?! It’s Zac’s life and he can date whoever he wants. We can like it or we don’t have to like who he is with. It’s all a matter of opinion. Some people prefer him with Vanessa, others prefer him with Nikki, some don’t like him with either. Big deal. We are all gonna have different preferences. That’s life.
This is a Nikki post, for fans of Nikki. FANS. People who support her, and want to know what she is up too. Why the hell it is turning into a Zac/Vanessa vs. Zac/Nikki competition I have no idea.
This just all seems like one awful cycle. People who don’t like Vanessa say bad things about her which in return seems to make some Vanessa fans say bad things about Nikki, which gets Nikki fans upset so they trash Vanessa and it just keeps going. Nobody has to like Nikki. Nobody has to like Vanessa. We all have our own reasons for being fans. It’s a matter of opinion, taste, preference. There is no need for all this crap.
Can’t we all just agree to disagree since this isn’t going to be resolved and it’s just gonna be arguing back and forth? I don’t know about anyone else but I prefer it to be peaceful, I like getting along with people.
With that said I am gonna try to stop commenting on this stuff, and just come here to show my support for Nikki because that is what a true fan does. I don’t care who she, Zac or Vanessa date as long as they are all happy.
But all the stereostypes and generalizations are very unfair.
Now onto what we all should be discussing, Nikki and her incredible talent. I can’t wait for more news on her album and her television show. The fact that it is a scripted comedy/sitcom makes me think it might be like Amanda Bynes and What I Like About You, which would be pretty cool cause Amanda managed to do that and movies at the same time. I’m still wondering what network it will be on. I can’t wait to hear more about it. It sucks when we do get Nikki news its very vague. LOL.
I hope we hear something more about this TV show. I know it can take a long time for a show to be developed to the point of making a pilot, and then if it is picked up. I would love to hear more about the premise and what kind of comedy it would be.

I don’t think Nikki needs any sort of boyfriend to prove she’s worth praise and attention. She is a big talent and she does have what a talent must have to be a star: she is persistent, confident and hardworking! Love her soprano, this type of voice is going to get even better in due course (like good wine:-). Can’t wait for her new album!

And it was our fellow nikki fans who brought Zac into this by insinuating his thanking her had a deep meaning behind it. It is also our fellow nikki fans who brought the Zanessa fans out of the woodwork by calling Vanessa names and saying they could not wait for Zac to be free of his Disney obligation so he dump Vanessa and be with Nikki.

jen….I’m not really sure where you see any of that behavior between Zac and Nikki. The pictures of them promoting Hairspray were WORK-related. Plus, good friends rub backs, hold a hand, and hug. There is nothing wrong with that, but should not be taken for anything more!! I just have no idea what fuels this fantasy people have. There have been NO pictures of them at all since Hairspray promoting finished. None. Doesn’t that honestly speak for itself?? Especially with how rabid the paparazzi is????

That is very true I am a Zanessa fan but also like Nikki for herself and her weight is her own buisness and nobody eles’s and she seems happy enough with herself and certainly ozzes confidence and talent so good for her. Nobody is perefect and we all have flaws weather your well known or not, but you should’nt be a fan of someone if there only skinny.
As for Zac I honestly don’t see anything other than two people who are former work mates and as for the hug back in January again it was from one work mate to another that you had’nt seen in a while nothing more, my daughter has a boyfriend but she has loads of boy mates as well as girl mates and has she said most of her boy mates when they see her give her a hug to say hi but that does’nt mean that there’s anything more going on as she already has aboyfriend so it’s innocent and has no hidden meaning.
People should give Zac credit for knowing his own mind and knowing who he wants to be with Disney or not have no control over that he is 20 year’s old nearly 21 so he is well past the teenage year’s. He has had many opportunity’s to be with Nikki or anyone else if he wanted so do people really think that he is that shallow and disrespectful to stay with someone for nearly 3 years just becuase he’s told to to help boost a film, I don’t know Zac pesonally but he just does’nt strike me as that kind of person to do that to Vanessa or anyone else. Nikki was at the awards and I dare say that Zac probably said hello but nothing more as there are no photo’s of them together and apparently after they spoke to the director of HS they left together.
And if you had a camera in your face everytime you went out and about I doubt that you’d always be beaming from ear to ear weather your with your girlfriend or not and there have been photo’s of Zac when he’s been on his own and he’s not always smiling. And even some photo’s with Nikki he’s not always been smiling.
I just wish Nikki well and hope your album and tv show work out for her, she loves what she does and is enjoying herself so fair play to her.

You know what I don’t understand? When people criticize you for being a little overweight. She’s not fat. She’s built a bit bigger than some and it suits her height. Get over it.
