In other Jolie-Pitt news, Angie’s attorneys on Monday warned that someone posing as her personal assistant, Holly Goline, had sent out false information about the movie star giving birth. The source for the Entertainment Tonight report was an e-mail supposedly from Goline. An executive at the show said Monday that she wanted to “see how this story plays out” before retracting a report that the twins had been born, despite a claim of an imposter and a denial from partner Brad Pitt’s manager.
As for the bidding war for Brad & Angie’s twins, the pics will fetch at least $15 million, reports TMZ. People and OK! are the only glossies left standing.
”This is an absolutely huge, huge story for us,” said Sarah Ivens, editor in chief of OK! ”Essentially you have two of the most beautiful, famous people in the world. We’ve all seen they’ve had one baby, Shiloh, and it is the coolest, most adorable baby on the planet. And this time they’re having two? It can’t get any better.”

This movie has been talked and written about for so long that I don’t think I will want to see it. Sometimes talking about something too much before the premiere is overkill. I’d rather get a good book and have a quiet evening reading it at home. People forget how to read books … they give so much more than action movies.
James McAvoy. is a good actor, though. If you didn’t see Atonement yet, go see it. A real quality movie!

I remember that she made this movie after her mother just died; so she was mourning and lost so much weight. She said that she had to do something that she could express herself like let her inner feelings come out. So she did this action movie.
She is so skinny at the time she made this movie, but looks like she wasn’t frail at all! She can kick butt. She’s a “Tomb Raider” girl. And while she was filming this “Wanted” movie, at the same time, we saw pictures of her carrying two of her kids (Pax & Zahara) when she was dropping them to their school. And there was also a time that she was carrying Z & Shiloh in both her hips. So people, don’t underestimate her in her most skinny days. Angelina is always a tough girl!

I live in Canada, and I am a big longtime fan of Angie -now Brad. Yesterday on e-talk (gossip tv show} they introduced the show by showing Angie’s VF pictures followed by X and John kissing on CC’s sundeck.
What made me laugh my head off is the way the host phrased it “”the competition continues, who will get more air time” or something like that. I laughed because as we all could tell the pictures of X were not very flattering and the spin on the story was that X is in competition with angie.
This is the first time I have seen this show made snarky remarks about X usually they talk about her as if she is their best friend. They snark at angie all the time but this was new I thought dam the tides have turned.

Ok, I guess now the whole celebrity rumor mill about Anglina and the twins really gets ugly, with some impostor pretending to be her assistant. Guess that makes research for for the mags also more difficult, to figure out who they can trust.
Wondering if there ever will be an end to the bidding on celebrity baby photos, 15 million, that sounds pretty insane to me. After all the high profile pregnancies this year, people and OK must be bankrupt, really can’t imagine they make that much money to even that one out. But I guess they now what they’re doing and they probably consider this as a long term investment or so.
The good thing at least is, we can be sure Brad and Angelina will be giving th money to charity, and taking that into account, the pictures cannot be worth enough, 15 million to the World Food Programme or whichever organization they choose is just great!

I think Suri and Shiloh are both gorgeous babies but I do agree with you.
After looking at Suri’s pics, I don’t think she will grow up to be a stunner as she has thin lips and a big nose. I also think that Suri is benefitting from her designer haircut as well. She has beautiful glossy thick mane of dark hair and her eyes are her best feature. Here’s hoping that Suri inherits her mum’s long legs and not her dads……
Meanwhile, Shiloh has got a cute little button nose and big blue eyes. She will grow up to be gorgeous with those bee stung lips. I think she looks more natural (i.e. no designer haircut). Her golden locks are starting to grow longer.

Sara Larson is reportedly heart broken over her split with George Clooney. Fox News claims she was given no notice, asked to leave right away, pack up her stuff from his mansion in LA, and immediately flew back to Las Vegas to lick her wounds.
George on the other hand…well… George is licking some other things. At least according to my source who tells me exclusively that George allegedly had a little bit of fun at an LA area hotel (a chain) last Tuesday with not 1 not 2 but 3 ladies who looked like they were of the night.
George apparently checked in under an alias at 2am, no reservation, and did not appear to be sober. The ladies were giggling, could not believe their luck at landing Hollywood’s major player. At least for one night. George checked out at 9am wearing a hat and jeans.

Thanks. A couple of other people pointed out that it was supposed to be a different scene. The scene looks very similar to the scene where Angie’s doing the donut in the Viper. I knew the silver car was a Vette…my dream car that I’m too cheap to spring for! LOL. Besides…the gas mileage on those suckers suck. And at damned near $4 a gallon a gas-guzzler will bleed your dry these days…
How versatile and brilliant this woman is !!! . Definitely no ho-hum roles for this actress. Totally unbelievable how she can transform herself from one role to another !and get rave reviews ! No actress in this generation could come close to the enigma of this woman !
Critics herein judge her to be immoral - God’s mistake. But if she imperfect, then Jolie has to be God’s most beautiful mistake. Never mind what an amazing mother she turned out to be, never mind how she can engaged the attention of the leaders of the world in her quest to find solutions to the children of conflict, never mind that she was deemed the most beautiful and sexiest woman for 2 years, never mind that she is an Oscar-winning actress, and never mind that she is the most credible humanitarian. Did I also mention that she was the 4th most influential woman of the world in 2007 ?
Jen Aniston should start looking for these kind of roles although I am not sure if the public will buy the transformation. She does have a great sense of humor - really dry wit. For some reason, fans and critics alike are not giving her the credit she deserves as comedienne. She needs to re-invent herself, otherwise, she remains in that ho-hum boring roles.

…the ex may never have this kind of roles but that’s because she’s looking for something more normal and intelligent than that. The villains will not laugh in her face because she’ll look like the girl they want to marry, not just f*** like your beloved Jolie.

Great movie! I love action movies and love all characters in the movie, Angie, John, Morgan and Common. Will be there as soon as it comes out. Going to see KFP on Friday, don’t have a kid to take but will go and see it. I love animated movies!!!! Will drag my BFF who is a school librarian with me.

I recall reading an article about Gemini having two personalities. Angie is (1) a true bad a**, can kick b*** when needed and (2) sweet down to earth person who loves her kids. Five days after “Entertainment Tonight” reported that Angelina Jolie had given birth to twins, it is starting to look more and more as if the syndicated show - which is on every weeknight, primarily on CBS affiliates - made a serious mistake.
A law firm representing Ms. Jolie says that an impostor claiming to be the actress’s assistant misled some news organizations. According to Ms. Jolie’s camp, the birth report was false.
The law firm, Lavely & Singer, sent a letter of warning to roughly two dozen news media outlets on Monday.
“A random individual has engaged in a scheme to intentionally harm my client and deceive her fans, the public and the media through illegal and tortuous impersonation of Ms. Jolie’s longtime assistant, Holly,” the letter said.
The letter did not specifically mention “Entertainment Tonight,” but it seemed to be a response to its report.
For news organizations, many millions of dollars hinge on the pregnancy of Ms. Jolie, whose partner is the actor Brad Pitt. As most people know - or perhaps cannot avoid knowing - the couple has four children, three of them adopted, and is expecting twins this summer.
The first photographs of the twins will undoubtedly sell for seven figures, and online reports say that the bidding war is already well under way. News about the newborns will also drive viewers and readers to entertainment television shows, Web sites and magazines (as it apparently has already).
On Friday morning, after seeing a spike in Google search traffic about Ms. Jolie’s pregnancy, an “Entertainment Tonight” producer e-mailed a person she believed to be Ms. Jolie’s assistant. The person responded by BlackBerry, saying she had been in the room for the birth.
The ensuing “Entertainment Tonight” report, published online just before noon on Friday, was quickly picked up by The Associated Press and myriad other outlets, large and small. Publicists for the show circulated the story widely, complete with a requirement that other outlets must mention “tune in to ‘Entertainment Tonight.’ ”
Part of the surprise came from the fact that Ms. Jolie’s due date has widely been reported as Aug. 19, so the twins’ arrival, if true, would have meant that they were born very early.
The report prompted swift denials from Ms. Jolie’s representatives.
Despite everything, “Entertainment Tonight” is sticking to its story. “We are waiting to see how this story plays out,” Linda Bell Blue, the show’s veteran executive producer, said in a statement on Monday, which was repeated on Tuesday.
But sometime before Monday, the article was removed from the “Entertainment Tonight” Web site. The show’s spokeswoman would not comment on the decision to delete the record, and the show has not acknowledged the denials.
Although “Entertainment Tonight” pumps out light fare, it does have a respected place in the world of infotainment, so the apparent mistake left some analysts wondering about a risk to its reputation. Many tabloids have a history of rushing to press with flimsy stories that turn out to be fake, but “Entertainment Tonight” has historically acted with caution.
“Entertainment Tonight” is a moneymaker for the CBS Corporation, although the company does not release financial details. The show, which has been on the air for 27 years, draws an average of 6.5 million viewers every night, twice as many as its most popular rival, “Access Hollywood.” And much of its brand is built on credibility.
The producers know how damaging a blunder can be. The show “can never afford to be wrong,” Ms. Bell Blue told the trade publication TV Week in 2004. “If it means we’re not first on a story, then we won’t be first. We make sure it is right.”
But that was before the Internet became a major player in the gossip game. Since then, sites like Time Warner’s TMZ and Yahoo’s OMG have made the format of a half-hour evening show seem sluggish.
Is it possible that Ms. Jolie has indeed given birth and that the news is being withheld for some reason? Yes, but as a person close to her said, when Ms. Jolie’s baby Shiloh was born in 2006, the event was confirmed almost immediately.

That could be…except…Porgie’s movies alwasy tank at the BO. Michael Clayton had a 93% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes and did a whole $50MIL at the BO. Leatherheads has done about $31MIL…but he wasn’t dating Ho when The Good German made a whopping $1MIL or Intolerable Cruelty thundered into the BO at $35MIL or Confessions of A Dangerous mind limped out of the BO at $16MIL.

Per producer Jim Lemley: “Fox is stoic. She’s a soldier in search of a cause, and with the Fraternity, she’s found it. The Fraternity has shaped her life and character, and Fox has become a fully formed assassin who takes her job very seriously. And she kicks ass, too.”
Angelina Jolie takes her job of inhabiting her character on screen seriously: “Fox is a believer in the Code,” Jolie offers. “I like the fact that she’s quite flat, in a way; she just believes in getting on with it and doesn’t really show any emotion. However, let’s not get too serious about this film - it’s supposed to be a fun movie, but the idea of assassinating one person to save thousands is very interesting.”
For an actress who throws herself into her work, one of the things that appealed to Jolie was that she had input on her character’s look. She adds, “Fox has binary codes on her arm, which is part of a reading of the fabric from the Loom of Fate. She has ‘know your rights’ in different languages and ‘toil and tears,’ which is from a Churchill speech. It’s things like that that audience won’t notice or pick up, but giving Fox all these tattoos is symbolic of somebody who lives by a certain code of honor.”
The director, Timur Bekmambetov, says, “We were very lucky - and very happy - to get Angelina. She is just so solid, and such a nonconformist. She’s also a perfectionist, so in everything she does she wants to be the best. She is deep and talented, grounded and specific. She knows, every second, what she wants to do in the scene. Her viewpoint is very strong, and so you have to understand it.
We worked with her on her dialogue, and she really helped to make it stronger. When we first met, we talked about her character. From then on, she was always trying to keep everything in line with what we discussed. A very focused actor.”
While on paper, the subject of Wanted sounds dark and dire, Bekmambetov injected his wry and decidedly off-kilter sense of humor into the narrative. Jolie comments, “I like that this film doesn’t take itself too seriously…It’s a little more nutty and has a sense of humor about itself. It doesn’t pretend to be too cool and there is something textured, European and a little funky about it. Timur is a very focused, deep-thinking guy, and it’s cool to see him in the middle of a big Hollywood movie, bringing something to it that is unusual.”

On Friday morning, after seeing a spike in Google search traffic about Ms. Jolie’s pregnancy, an “Entertainment Tonight” producer e-mailed a person she believed to be Ms. Jolie’s assistant. The person responded by BlackBerry, saying she had been in the room for the birth.

ROTFLMBAO. Soooooo…you know this means, don’t you? Google, thru it’s Google Ads subdivision, has made a buttload of money of this fake delivery story. Google Ads charges a per word fee for certain search words. The more popular the search word, the higher your ad fee. Look over to the right side of your search results window. You’ll see a little section title “SPONSORED LINKS”.
These are companies who have paid a fee to Google for their link to be displayed when certain keywords are searched. Not only do you pay by the words searched, but you also purchase by the number of “hits” or “impressions” that you want. For instance - you buy 1000 impressions for the words “Angelina” and “Jolie”. So when people search her name, then your ad appears 1000 times in the Sponsored Links area. If you want your ad on the first page of the results, you pay more and the fee goes down with each subsequent page of the search results. Of course most people only look through the first few pages of the search results so you pay the highest fee to get on the first 1-3 pages of results.
Sooooo….let’s say a rumor gets started that Angie has had her baby. Naturally intersted people are going to look this story up. And what’s the first site most people use to search? Yeah…GOOGLE.
Now I’m not saying that Google started the birth rumor…I’m just saying that Google is damned glad anytime Angie gets knocked up! Her search numbers are high anyway, but with a major rumor like this circulating the numbers are probably ridiculous. So it’s little wonder that ET took a look at the numbers for her name and figured the story must be true…and went running off to their “inside source” for confirmation.
The only thing that annoys me about ET getting their nuts caught in a ringer is that they actually believed that Holly would betray Angelina in this manner. Apparently they’ve been getting tips from this source for a while and have believed all this time that Holly was stabbing Angie in the back and telling her business. If I were Holly I’d sue someone for defamation of character. You know the people at ET have probably been whispering about Holly for a full year now thinking they had her in their hip pockets. For that kind of snake-in-the-grass behavior they deserve to get played.

The birth of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins is turning into the type of mystery that might make a good movie one day.
The executive producer for “Entertainment Tonight” said Monday that she wanted to “see how this story plays out” before retracting a report that the twins had been born, despite a denial from Pitt’s manager and a claim that someone might be posing as Jolie’s personal assistant to fool reporters.
The TV show reported Friday that twin girls had been born, identifying its source as a person in the delivery room, and quoted another Web site giving the babies’ alleged names.
Rival news organizations quickly shot the story down. The Associated Press, which had picked up the “Entertainment Tonight” report after talking to executives at the show about their source, later quoted Pitt’s manager saying the “ET” story was not true.
In the world of celebrity journalism, it may be the biggest story of the year.
“This is an absolutely huge, huge story for us,” said Sarah Ivens, editor in chief of OK! magazine. “Essentially you have two of the most beautiful, famous people in the world. We’ve all seen they’ve had one baby, Shiloh, and it is the coolest, most adorable baby on the planet. And this time they’re having two? It can’t get any better.”
It was “pandemonium” at the offices of Us Weekly when the “Entertainment Tonight” report was posted, said Dina Sansing, the magazine’s entertainment director.
People magazine was first to report that the story was not true. Us Weekly checked its own sources and concluded the same, Sansing said.
On Monday, Jolie’s attorneys advised news organizations that someone was posing as Holly Goline, Jolie’s personal assistant, and had sent out false information about the movie star. The source for the “Entertainment Tonight” report was an e-mail supposedly from Goline, said an executive at the show who did not want to be identified for competitive reasons.
Was “Entertainment Tonight” punk’d? Perhaps not, the executive said.
The show initiated its own contact with Goline after hearing rumors the babies had been born in France, said the executive. The person who made the contact was an “ET” producer who had worked with Goline while at CNN and kept Goline’s e-mail address, the executive said. The executive forwarded an e-mail exchange that appeared to support this version of events.
In the e-mails, Goline or the impostor said she was there for the deliveries and everyone was doing well. Pressed by “ET” for more information, the person said she could say no more.
“Entertainment Tonight” had removed its story from its Web site after the questions were raised. No mention was made of the story on Monday’s show.
“Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are friends of `Entertainment Tonight.’ We have spent years cultivating that friendship, working with them side by side on many of their projects,” Linda Bell Blue, executive producer for “Entertainment Tonight” and its sister broadcast, “The Insider” said in a statement Monday. “We wish them and their children well. We are waiting to see how this story plays out.”
Millions of dollars could be at stake. After Shiloh was born, Pitt and Jolie were at the forefront of a growing movement by celebrities to auction off exclusive rights to first public pictures of their babies (Pitt and Jolie donated the money to charity). Sometimes exclusive details on the birth come with these rights.
Ivens said OK! would be interested in exclusive pictures of the babies, but would not discuss whether there were any negotiations to obtain them.
Jolie has said the babies are due in August. Ivens said OK! grew more comfortable over the weekend that the “Entertainment Tonight” story was wrong because of other clues. There were no reports of flowers being delivered to hospitals, or grandparents flying in, she said, and Pitt was seen attending a sporting event over the weekend an unlikely spot for a new father of premature twins.

As to why J. Aniston doesn’t get the roles that Jolie gets, simple, 1. she’s not believable in a kick-ass movie, Jolie is. Number 2. Adoption is so special. My adopted kids know that they’re in our family because we wanted them to be in our family. We chose them. That’s something special that every adopted child can know. They didn’t have to be adopted by their parents. They really wanted them.
They’re just my kids. Literally, I forget who’s adopted and who’s not. It really doesn’t seem like that. They’re my kids, I’m their dad and Chelsea’s their mom. It’s just a great, wonderful way to not only have a family yourself but meet a real need in the lives of so many of these orphans.
Kirk and Chelsea are also parents to Olivia, 6, and James, 5, and with six kids in one household, there is always a lot going on.
My son Jack is 11, and he’s into music and Legos. My daughters are into ballet and singing. My littlest one, she wants to be a farmer. She wants to be Fern from Charlotte’s Web. She’d like to have a cow and a goat and a goose and a rat and a spider. And my other little guys, they love racecars and power tools and catching lizards.

Pitt, who has long had a passion for architecture, will help design an 800-room green hotel and resort in Dubai. He won’t have to give up his day job because he’ll be part of a team of professional consultants from Los Angeles-based architecture firm GRAFT.

After the Flood: Building on Higher Ground, an exhibition RECORD conceived and organized for the U.S. Pavilion at the 2006 Venice Architectural Biennale, will be on display until June 27 at the Museum of Art and Design in Los Angeles. Presented by the State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, the exhibition—which made stops in Bangkok and Panama in 2007—was expanded for its final venue by RECORD’s curator, Christian Ditlev Bruun, with the help of Anthony Fontenot.

After the Flood was based on a competition RECORD organized with Tulane University in early 2006 to offer ideas for housing as a response to the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. Schemes selected included designs by Anderson Anderson Architecture, Eight Inc., and Workshop/apd.
Bruun enlarged the L.A. exhibition by including house prototypes for New Orleans executed by architects such as Morphosis and Pugh + Scarpa for the Make It Right foundation established by Brad Pitt. Another section in this updated show includes urban and civic schemes for New Orleans by dArchitects/Gansstudio, Eskew + Dumez + Ripple, among others.

CANNES, France - When the subject is Angelina Jolie, the conversation quickly turns to children, specifically, her growing brood.
Take the animated “Kung Fu Panda,” opening Friday, in which Jolie provides the voice for Tigress. “Panda” is special, she said, “Because two of my children are Asian, and it’s taking place in China and getting to the history of that culture. But the truth is I would have done this film if I didn’t have children. It goes back to the classic animated film.”
Her character Tigress is a ferocious kung fu warrior. “I think every woman is a tiger or would like to be,” she joked.
The United Nations goodwill ambassador is the expectant mother of twins with partner Brad Pitt, 44, and of their biological daughter, Shiloh, 22 months old, and adopted daughter Zahara, 3, and sons Maddox, 6, and Pax, 4.
“I think my schedule looks more impressive than it is,” she said. “ ‘Panda’ was less than a week in the studio. Last year I worked maybe about four months total and the rest of the time I was really home.”
And yes, she does have nannies, “but nobody spends the night. We spend a lot of time completely alone handling our children. We want to be very hands-on parents.”

TIta - I was surprised, too, that the green didn’t make her fuglier than usual. Who knew. I will say that my final pic was a darker green that I started out with. I used the eyedropper tool on the picture of Angie in the green wig and there’s about 10 different shades of green because of the light. I could have gone with the lime green…but decided to give X a break…besides that lime green was so bright it was hurting my eyes to look at it…

The week began with reports that bidding on Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s baby twin photos was skyrocketing past a $15 million mark; today brings word the final sum could hit $22 million, as the tabloids feed the human trafficking frenzy. (What’s an ultrasound worth?)
No matter that the two magazines still in the bidding for the photos, People and OK!, claim those figures are wildly out of touch with the actual dollar amounts being tossed around.
But make no mistake: This sale is on track to break all previous records, including the estimated $7 million Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony scored for selling U.S. and European rights to their twins.
As for who’s going to end up on top, the smart money is on Time Inc.’s People, if only because they’re the only ones with the budgetary backing for oversized deals like this. And despite the rumor that the Richard Desmond-owned OK! is willing to pay any price to snag the pics, we’re hearing People’s Larry Hackett simply will not allow his magazine itself to lose out on the bidding war with OK!, which, privately, editors there still consider a slipshod attempt at competition.
