Gwyneth Paltrow: I May Force Myself To Have Another Baby

New interviews bits of Gwyneth Paltrow have been released from the July 2008 issue of Harper’s Bazaar (Pictured here: Proenza Schouler sequined t-shirt, Versace shoes).

On how her pregnancy differed from her mother’s (Blythe Danner): “I may force myself to do it one more time because the result is so worth it. And also my dad said to me that his only regret in life was that he had only two children and he didn’t have more… My mother loved each [pregnancy] to bits; she felt alive and beautiful. I wanted to throw up all the time.”

On being very open to adoption: “I do feel we’re so fortunate, and we kind of owe it to humanity. We have a lot of love to give and a lot of resources.”

On her support for Barack Obama: “I don’t feel there’s any lip service with [Obama]. I don’t feel like he’s one of those jaded politicos who say one thing and are talking out of both sides of their mouth. I also feel we’ve done such damage to our reputation – and as someone who lives outside America for half the year, I overhear things that I wish I didn’t overhear. A lot of people in the West think that we’re not very sensitive to the rest of the world, and I think that having a president called Barack Hussein Obama in 2008 says that we are part of the world, and we don’t want to make unilateral decisions about the fate of all of us. I just pray to God that he wins.”

HOLLYWOOD STARS UNITE TO SAVE THE WORLD.

We must stand with them. Most of them have graduate degrees and know that Barack Obama is our ONLY hope.

Obama will stop the homeless from living on the streets. He will stop the gas company’s from charging us too much. He will bring down the food prices and milk and eggs too.

OBAMA is a true God-like figure today.

She is so right for the last part of the interview!
She looks nice :)

Love the shoes but the short, short dresses are getting boring and predictable.

I can understand her reluctance to go through pregnancy again. I was so ill during both of my pregnancies and it really does make you a little ambivalent about doing it again. I applaud her for being honest about this…not everyone has a wonderful, lovely, positive pregnancy experience.

But perhaps she will adopt. I just hope the trend toward adopting older American children will take off. We have so many children in foster care in our own country, it would be nice if those with so much to give would spread their wealth here. (Admittedly, not as ‘fashionable’ as adopting infants from foreign countries though.)

Gyn, you make me like you even more… well besides that no one can hate a woman with those legs; but to hear you support OBAMA? Thank you God that more people are seeing the light.. That man is the best hope we have for America. Funny b/c we as Americans think the world rotates around us but it doesn’t. Look at those jobs getting shipped overseas, the slumping economy, the endless wars we’ve waged. Unless we rejoin the rest of the people outside our borders and cut out the arrogance, our children will inherit a huge deficit, no healthcare and no jobs… The internet has changed the playing field. We’re citizens of the world now, whether we like it or not… so let’s get with the program and end the McBush era of ignorance and war-mongering…

Obama ‘08!

Obama is our last hope. The Repubs have ruined this for us. McCain wants back alley abortions and 100 years of war. Obama nis a constitutional attorney, community organizer and overall brilliant man. Thank God Associated Press just claimed he is the Democratic nominee. Historic day for America. Obama represents us all: he is beyond race: White mother, black father, Asian step-father, half Asian and half White sister, black daughters, and a message of unity. Yeah to America!

She looks beautiful. It sucks that pregnancy is so hard for her. Mine was hell too so I definitely sympathize.

Shut up U ******* ignorant and naive liberals!! Electing a guy who has mentors and friends who are or have been terroists sounds like a great hope. If he’s our last chance as some as you douchebags like to proclaim..we’re in trouble!

y are my comments not showing up??? ahhhhhhh

Obama will make it easier to adopt.

Let’s support Obama.

If she wants more children but hates being pregnant, it stands to reason she should adopt.

Obama in 2008 @ 06/03/2008 at 6:12 pm

Stop the

homeless
higher bread prices
fabric costs
cement is higher

Obama will bring these prices DOWN DOWN DOWN

OUR GREAT HOPE!!! NOT ONLY FOR US BLACK PEOPLE, BUT FOR YOU TOO.

OBAMA IN 2008!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

“I don’t feel like he’s one of those jaded politicos who say one thing and are talking out of both sides of their mouth”

Is she really that naive? HE’S A POLITICIAN! And he has talked out of both sides of his mouth on many occasions. On the one hand he talks about unity and moving beyond old-style politics, while on the other hand he has his campaign sending out emails to the media exploiting his opponent’s gaffes.

sCOTTISH mOVE @ 06/03/2008 at 6:15 pm

BUSH don’t allow foreign adoptions. Bush wants all infants in the world to die.

OBAMA will allow adoptions.

Barack in 2008

Choice is clear.

I actually think Obama and John McCain are both okay. I just wish Obama would have left the Trinity Church years ago. It would have been the responsible thing to do…especially since his daughters should not have been exposed to the racist off-balance rantings of that minister. What was he thinking? It doesn’t speak to racial harmony to be so involved with such hateful church.

And I wish John McCain could just tell the Republican party to stuff it on the anti-gay platform. You know he secretly wants to, but is forced to play along because he needs party support. John McCain needs to realize there are Republicans out there (like me) who are fiscal and economically conservative but are totally okay with gay marriage and other liberal social povs. He can have OUR dollars and tell the Moral Majority to keep theirs.

The “god” she prays to is not God.. Just a Kaballah idol. She should retract her last sentence. Boy, is she messed up.

That looks like a top and #4, obviously you do care!

JunoFirst @ 06/03/2008 at 6:29 pm

Glad to know she supports Obama, BUT FORCE herself to have another child, that is idiotic. IF one truly loves children, you don’t force yourself to have them. You just plain have them regardless of any sacrifice one must make.

As for “the man” @ 06/03/2008 at 6:05 pm - you are the one who is naive and ignorant. Are you from West VA??
Voting for McBush - Lite is basically replacing idiocy with senility.

She followed Brangelina foot step; Why can she be little more orginal and stop tailgate Angelina.

orange clock @ 06/03/2008 at 6:30 pm

She is very smart and has a high IQ (i think).

No Homeless @ 06/03/2008 at 6:32 pm

Obama will stop the homeless from sleeping on the streets

Your streets
My streets

Obama 2008

As a black woman, one thing I can tell you we Black folks can be quite reserved about hope - our parents teach it to us. Be hopeful but be prepared about the reality because none of us ever truly believe, EVER, that America can change overnight. We have no delusions about that. However, like Bill Clinton did in the 90’s and JFK did in the 60’s, we have to take a road less traveled sometimes. And Obama’s politics is a road less traveled. And it is refreshing. Also, being married to a white man from Boston, and I being a LA black girl - it is truly refreshing for us to see a world that represents our world. So many of our friends are in interracial relationships - my best friend is Asian and married to a White guy, etc. And so we truly believe his message of unity will resonate on some level. And I have followed his policies for years - he truly one of the most decent politicians around. And of course, he is a politician - you don’t get to go this far without being a really smart and shrewd politician - I just think he is less of one than the ones who have been tainted for the system. My hubbie and I are so happy to vote for him! Yeah to Obama. Oh, and Gwyneth is cute. Very cute shoes.
