OlderAshley Tisdale & Jared Murillo Get Promise Rings
Ashley Tisdale and her backup dancer boyfriend Jared Murillo have gotten each other promise rings, reports In Touch.
The couple apparently have taken their nearly two-year relationship to the next level. Jashley picked up rings at Na Hoku jewelers in L.A. on May 30 to celebrate their upcoming anniversary.
“They were beautiful rings, and very elegant,” an insider says. “Their relationship is going strong.”
The 22-year-old High School Musical sweetie recently reunited with her boy-band beau after he completed a 26-city nationwide tour with his group V-Factory.
Jared, 19, is now supporting Ashley in Utah, where she is filming High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
Jared’s family members are already huge fans of Ashley’s. “She’s a loving, caring person,” Jared’s father, Alex Murillo, tells In Touch. “I’m so impressed with her.”
UPDATE: Ashley’s rep is denying this story, telling JustJared.com exclusively, “The story is not true. Ashley did not purchase or a receive a promise ring.”

that’s the same exact thing i was thinking! as you said, it’s not like they’re saying she’s engaged or married! & it’s not like the media is all over them, either (such as zac & vanessa). if they don’t want anyone to know they have promise rings… why do they wear them?? ashley could of easily boughten a chain (not like she doesn’t have the money) & wore it as a necklace, so no one would see it. i find it funny how celebs & they’re reps feel the need to deny every little thing.
as for jashley copying zanessa, i will admit that i think they do. jashley went to hawaii for ashley’s b-day after zanessa went in the spring. ashley seems to copy vanessa’s style in clothing, & now the promise rings (which they DO have). & in other little details, as well. i don’t think this is any good reason to get aggravated, though. i think it’s cute! ashley seems very sweet, & i think it’s cool she looks up to vanessa like that. they’re BEST FRIENDS. you never copied something off of your best friend?? zac & vanessa don’t seem to mind, so why do you?? maybe they planned all of that. it’s not like zanessa is the first couple to purchase promise rings or go to hawaii. ridiculous people, ridiculous…

anyways, i agree, i dont know why her rep denied it, they arent getting married. but im pretty sure that she had a promise ring a really long time ago. but i might be mistaken. i think she was just ring shopping though. like the post that jared put up where vanessa and aly are shopping, V is ring shopping. but shes not engaged. oh well, speculation i guess, lol. and even if they did get promise rings, who cares? that doesnt mean that theyre copying vanessa and zac. millions of people have promise rings. so according to your theory, they could have just copied somebody they saw walking down the street. i love vanessa and everything, but “zanessa” is not the first couple ever. not everyone does stuff because they do it.

okay, well I’ve been through the whole ‘this ring means you’ll be forever mine one day’ thing. And sadly, when you’re young, it does not last forever, no matter how much you want it to. I honestly don’t know how much they care for each other, so I’ll just wish them the best. And if they’re destined to be together they will be.
well they have been going out for a really long time. I’m pretty sure longer than zac and vanessa. I think 2 years may be just in the public eye.

Dwayne Johnson is in his late thirties and he did “The Game Plan” and is currently filming a remake of “Witch Mountain” both Disney movies. My point is there is NOTHING inheritently wrong with doing Disney movies. Disney is just like every other studio Hollywood they put out some great movies, and some that are duds. If anybody needs to grow up its you.
As someone else said I don’t understand the hostility this item has seemed to provoke. If its true that’s very nice. But its nothing that should generate the level of anger we’re seeing. I mean seriously some of you people really need to get a grip.

Just because Zac and Vanessa had promise rings first, doesn’t make Jared and Ashley biters. People had promise rings before Zanessa, so that would make them biters too. It’s not like they invented the whole promise ring thing.

I don’t understand what’s with all the Ashley bashing lately. It’s very easy to skip her thread, you know. You don’t have to be an Ashley fan (I’m not) however, if you don’t have anything positive or constructive to say, just go and comment elsewhere and stop creating an unpleasant atmosphere for others.
Zac and Vanessa don’t have the monopoly on rings and they are not the only friends Ashley has. This is a free world, Ashley can pretty much do whatever she wants to do with her boyfriend, they are two independent and different couples that happen to work together and are friendly, so for the Z and V fans, you discredit the rest of us fans and Zac and Vanessa by coming here to make silly comparisons and accusations. Please refrain from doing that. If you have nothing good to say about Ashley, don’t comment here. It really ticks me off when you go to other Star’s threads and do exactly what we tell others not to do on Vanessa and Zac’s threads.
On another note, I think Ashley’s rep should stop reacting to every single rumour that is carried about by these rags. He gives them too much credit and magnifies the issue. Getting a promise ring is not a big deal, any couple can choose to get one or not for private reasons. It’s not really anyone’s business if Ashley and her boyfriend decide to get one and it should not matter whether people think they have or don’t have them. It’s their private life not PR.
