OlderBrad Pitt’s Table for Two
Brad Pitt picks up a few pieces of contemporary “design art” furniture at the Design Miami/Basel fair held at the 1920s domed Markethalle in Basel, Switzerland on Tuesday.
The father-of-almost-six paid $293,000 for a hollow white marble rococo-style table by the Dutch designer Jeroen Verhoeven at the booth of the London-based Carpenters Workshop Gallery. The 4-foot-long “Cinderella Table,” from an edition of six, is hewn from a solid block of Carrara marble.
Mr. Pitt also ordered a rug made of aluminum thread from New York dealer Cristina Grajales, said director Elizabeth Murphy. The “Silver Sky” rug, created by Colombian designer Jorge Lizarazo and woven by the Colombian-based studio Hechizoo, will be priced at a rate of $175 per square foot.
Brad was also interested in a gold lacquer-coated Fiberglas sofa by Zaha Hadid, offered by London-based dealer Kenny Schachter at $300,000.

BRAD PITT and ANGELINA JOLIE’s adopted son MADDOX is a potential motorcycle champion, according to Italian MotoGP ace VALENTINO ROSSI.
Pitt treated bike-fan Maddox to a day at Mugello race track on Sunday (1Jun08) after jetting their in helicopter from the couple’s retreat in the south of France.
And the six-year-old got up close to the action and the riders, including seven-times world champ Rossi, who told Us Weekly, “Brad said Maddox is very interested in bikes. We might have another champion on our hands.”

The table was carved from a solid 1-piece of Carrara marble. It is like a modern Michelangelo art work.
Brad has a good eye for art.

Who was John Mayer ??? he was in HK last week for the opening of the biggest “Coach” boutique in Asia. Press from all over Asia were there for the opening but no one give a sh.t on him, he was not even mention. not even a single pic. taken. Even a has been like Orlando Bloom or Jude Law were stalk by the pap. when they were in HK.
Maniston could slept from one guy to another, nobody care anymore. She’s a has-been, even at the height of her career back then, she was better known as Brad Pitt ’s wife outside North America.
Stop your delusion, just saw the trailer of her dog movies, which she was reprising the role of an older Rachel again,the same hair but frozen face, she look so old despite those reconstructed face and botox, no ones talking about that trailer, not interesting , no buzz .or whatsoever. Luckily for Brad he didn’t buy taste. He bought a beautiful marble table. Unlike you some people can afford furniture made out of materials other than plywood and cardboard or that come in a box and need to be assembled at home. Don’t hate on Brad just because you’re poor.
