Carrie Underwood Hits Homers
Run, Carrie, Run!
Carrie Underwood batters up at the 2008 City of Hope Celebrity Softball Challenge presented by the Gibson Foundation in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old singer was the lead-off batter for the Grand Ole Opry Live team at Nashville’s Greer Stadium and got a walk in the first inning! Unfortunately, Carrie’s team lost 8-1 behind the pitching of Jo Dee Messina who was dominant during the game.
Singer Sara Evans was also in attendance for the game.

I absolutely love Carrie! she is soooo sweet, beautiful, and very very talented.
You are right Don. Carrie is a real sweetheart and when people say she is boring I right away think they don’t follow her because she has a very funny personality. She was running around shooting people with a water gun and getting on the mic and talking trash to the other team all in fun.
She is a very giving person too. Her fanclub party was one of the biggest and she gave away so much stuff. She always goes back to Idol and performs to say how thankful she is for her career start. In a sea of crazy celebrities, Carrie is a pearl.
To Lacie, why would Carrie want to keep a man?!! She is 25 and very successful!!! She does not need a man right now!! Let her date a few before she sticks to only one!!!! I bet you are a very miserable “girl” for putting comments like these. Get a Life!! And one more thing, having a man does not make you any better!!!!!! CARRIE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!
Didn’t she get tackled by a guy?
Carrie Underwood rocks

Carrie got tackled last year by the pitcher and every time he got up to bat everyone boo’d him. It was all in fun. Carrie is a good athlete. She loves
football and says she watches more ESPN than any girl she knows.
Beside playing on a regular Nashville summer softball team Carrie, loves to go bowling. I think she’s pretty good too.
