OlderSandra Bullock Has a Proposal For Ryan Reynolds
Sandra Bullock proposes to costar Ryan Reynolds on Friday morning on the New York City set of their new romantic comedy, The Proposal.
Curiously enough, last month, it was announced that Ryan, 31, and Scarlett Johansson, 23, became engaged (in real life, of course).
In the film, Bullock, 43, stars as a Canadian immigrant who creates a difficult and complicated work environment for her subordinates at the office. When the news arrives that she’s about to be deported back to her homeland, she rushes into a marriage of convenience with her young assistant (Reynolds) to prevent such a calamity from taking place.
Directing The Proposal is Anne Fletcher (Step Up, 27 Dresses). Bullock’s handbag by Prada, peep-toe pumps by Christian Louboutin.

I dislike romantic comedies (mainly cos I find they are neither romantic nor comedic these days…) but I do like both Sandra Bullock & ryan Reynolds so I’m mildly intrigued by this film…I might just download it when it eventually leaks onto the net, lol!

I just love Sandra Bullock. I will never forget her in the movie, ” speed”. She was so cute, and still is. She and her husband would make great parents one day. I don’t care for Ryan, her co-star, in this movie, but I will see it, just too see her.

Well, the storyline sounds a bit boring and unrealistic, why the hell would she be deported back to Canada? But then, romantic comedies are always predictable, and if you just want to relax, they are great, and I think that’s Sandra Bullock’s best genre, just thinking of While You Were Sleeping (awesome) and the one with her and Hugh Grant, can’t remember the title, so I am looking forward to this.

I can’t wait to see this movie. Totally LOVE Ryan Reynolds!!! And yes, he can act! You must not’ hvve seen The Nines. He can do comedy, action, drama, any genre. Should be great in Fireflies in the Garden coming ot soon. Sandra is so good in romantic comedies. Ryan’s not arrogant–he’s pretty shy, and has a great sense of humor.
