I can see that you are speaking with passion and as teenagers we tend to hold very strong opinions. I was a teenager once and as an adult many years later,I reflected on all the things I’ve done and how I’ve changed. What I am now is definitely not what I was then,only maybe my silly sense of humour.

Only time will tell, and I do hope what you hold true now will stay with you until your adulthood. I guess, the things I’ve experienced and watched others experience makes me a bit of a sceptic.

go back to school honey. a fetus IS considered a living thing. it grows, its composed of cells, it has all the characteristics of a living thing. do some research and youll see. of course it cant live without nourishment and care from the mother, but then again, babies cant live unless someone cares for them either. do you not consider them living things as well?

a fetus has the makings of a head, arms, legs, and internal organs that, even though they arent fully developed for the most part, work. it’s not just “a bunch of minerals”. a fetus is the beginning stages of a human being, thats why some people feel abortion is depriving that human being of its option to live.

Just a thought, how many of you have broken your promise?
1) You’ve told your parents you promise to do better in your grades.
2) promise not to swear
3) promise to tidy and clean your room
4) promise not to quarrel with your sibling again.
5) promise not to break your curfew again or play truant.

As you said a Promise is a Promise, but is it a commitment enough. If you wish to remain a virgin and promise your self to save self for the one and only, it is totally fine but to make a public declaration of it at that age is something I would not encourage especially when I do expect my child to be one as she is not of a consenting legal age.
