Selena Gomez: No Sex Before Marriage!
Selena Gomez, star of the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place, plans to practice abstinence until marriage, reports Extra.
The 15-year-old tween sensation, who’s on the fast track to becoming the new Miley Cyrus, has declared she won’t be having sex until marriage.
Selena declared, “I said, ‘Dad, I want a promise ring.’ He went to the church and got it blessed. He actually used me as an example for other kids. I’m going to keep my promise to myself, to my family and to God.”
All of the Jonas Brothers practice abstinence and wear purity rings.

well. just saying. just because some of the other stars said they got purity rings and messed up their lives doesn’t mean she or jb will do the same. last time i checked selena and britney spears were two different people. so w/e. and don’t be so judgmental. if they try to do something right, why do you have to diss them?

I think shes smart for doing that but she might break that promise later on in her career and end up like britney spears or keep her promise… and shes way better than hannah

selena is obviously saying that yada-yada-yada she’s getting a purity ring, but she will undoubtly, follow in steps of disney stars; when it’s kind of funny, most people do not know this but her mom definately DID NOT practice abstinence because, [ you don't have to believe me but it's true] selena was born when her mom was 16,!!! mmk. now, selena , MIGHT, just MIGHT have enough faith in herself to keep these promises but just look at disney stars, then look at where she came from….

No offense to Selena, or any of her fans because I am of course one. But I think that her and demi are getting purity rings because of the jonas brothers. I mean after they had it after awhile, now everyone’s getting them. Is it actually a promise they’re willing to keep to themselves and god? or a promise to keep for the fame? again no offense, but I know the jonas brothers mean the whole purity thing, but does anyone else?
She’s a great girl and I think is good that child stars are using purity rings, that shows that they’re really mature and that thay want to do the right thing.

go selena! im not just saying this because im a fan or just because im a christian. but i dont think ot really matters what age you decide to stay pure i mean people and kids are having sex everyday so this is a great think coming from a celeb and the jo bros also have a purity ring too. and even if you use protection at sex it doent always work. now im gonna ask my mom for a purity ring.
I think it’s a publicty stunt and part of the fake Disney image ( pure flawless little angels) because why else broadcast her decison to stay a virgin until marriage to the media and the public which is seriously creepy. A person’s sex life or lack of one should be private.
