Eva Longoria & Tony: What’s that Smell?

Eva Longoria-Parker and her husband/NBA basketball player Tony Parker holds their noses during a playoff basketball match in Nancy, France on Friday.

Having grown up in France, Tony plays for France’s national basketball team. He is also currently the point guard for the San Antonio Spurs NBA basketball, who unfortunately stunk it up against the Los Angeles Lakers in this year’s 2008 NBA playoffs.

As far as the Kate Beckinsale/Eva Longoria rivalry rumors, the Underworld actress said, “How could Eva and I be up for the same parts? She’s tiny and I’m fascinated by tiny, little people. I haven’t met her giant husband yet.”

I read over these comments and I have to say one thing: is the hate for eva because she’s short and dark? wow, we still have these values.
it also seems as if its the girls who are hating on her more…guys don’t seem to care and actually PREFER eva.
this makes me think that girls are insecure bc we’ve been programmed to think that tall and other stereotypical traits of beauty are the way to go.
i think eva having a younger TALLER husband should be enough to make us realize that beauty doesn’t have to be that way. and tony, as well as some of the guys on this board sure seem to agree.
