Nicole Richie’s Stroller Safari

Nicole Richie takes her daughter Harlow for a morning safari through the jungles of Glendale, Calif. on Saturday.

The new mom looked tired, but content while drinking her Starbucks coffee.

On Thursday, Nicole met up with her manager Michael Baum to talk about future opportunities and then headed to lunch at Bossa Nova in Hollywood.

Ms. Richie is also getting ready for the fall launch of House of Harlow, focusing first on jewelry and moving into childrenswear and accessories.

Maybe the blankets are to shield the baby from invasive paps who might take pictures with flashbulbs in her face. As long as the blankets aren’t smothering the baby some air can still get into the carriage, kind of hard to tell here really.

No one leaves young babies to be exposed to the sunlight and air, OR the flashes of camera, which would upset their sensitive eyes. How silly of a comment about the blankets.

Also, the baby did save her life, literally, weight wise and health wise.

These same photo’s appeared on another site. For all of the moms worried about Harlow getting air, if you look carefully { you can see this on another website }, the big fluffy blanket, has been folded back, under the stroller hood/handle. A thin receiving blanket [ hanging out below and on sides}, is actually half covering the stroller in front of the baby’s face in front. Nicole was constantly glancing down to watch Harlow thru the partial blanket opening, on the other website. Nicole looks great, and I love her clothes. Just down-to-earth. And cute.

#16 Nicole walking to Starbucks is newsworthy because a lot of people want to see what she is wearing! I love her & she looks cute in her Siwy denim shorts & American Vintage Karen burnout tee. It is funny that she is wearing Nike socks. I would expect to see her either wearing no socks or super low ones w/ no label on them! Anyway, it is nice that she is enjoying motherhood & taking it seriously.
