Honor Warren: Jessica Alba’s Baby Daughter!
As reported yesterday, Jessica Alba gave birth to a healthy baby girl this past weekend at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
People reports that Honor Marie Warren was born on Saturday.
“I don’t want to be my child’s best friend. I want to be a mom,” Alba recently told Fit Pregnancy. “But I do want my child to come to me when they have problems and need to talk, so it’s going to be about treading that line.”
Congrats to Jess, Cashers and Honor!

Btw, I think that people will end up calling the girl “Ho” or “Nor” which is much easier than Honor!!!

When the name was first talked about a few months ago, I thougth it was a bit strange, invites othr kids to make fun of the name. But the cobination with Marie makes is sound very melodic and feminine.

I have expected a horrible name for Jessica´s little girl because no one else except Jennifer Garner has given her child a lovely name.
Can it be that Jessica has chosen “Marie” because her middle name is Marie too?
if she named it honor b/c it was an Honor to have Cash’s baby. then she is a carbon copy cat of Angelina Joli B/C Angelina was the first celebrity to come up with Shilo which meant “His Gift” for Brad. It was to rub it in Jen’s face that she was the one to give him the child she never wanted to have with him! So Jessica is just trying to copy Angelina and act as though she is so proud!! Give me a break! She broke up with him right before she got pregnant. She was looking for better and got prego on accident her fault” He got her knocked up on purpose so she wouldn’t leave him again! She was looking for someone with way more star power! Now it’s such an HONOR! LOL
While we may say “oh how adorable- Honor” let’s be realistic- our birth names can affect our careers in later life. Celebrities get off on naming their children the most unique names, but who will take them seriously in a true working environment as adults? Honor is maybe a tad lucky she’s a girl- men seem to suffer much more for their birth names in the business world. While I love the name Maddox for example, do you think grown men will take him seriously in a competitive business environment? For sons especially, I cringe when I hear parents name them something ultra-feminine. It sets them up for years of torture from fellow schoolmates and eventual adult life. I can’t describe how many times I’ve heard people giggle at a name like Prescott for a boy. Why don’t parents think in advance how these names will be received by others? These kids better hope they follow their parents footsteps and enter the film, music, art world. At least there, diversity is welcome.

The name Honor is interesting… is it me or does it seem like almost every celebrity wants to name their child an uncommon/”unique” name? Of course, i want to do the same for my children but the name Honor seems like it would be unsatisfactory for a child and they may grow up wanting to change their name. My name is Honor! It’s an old, pilgrim name, not a trendy weird name. It’s like Constance, Prudence, Faith, Hope, etc. just not as common.
I’m glad so many of you dislike it, because I personally love having a unique name and don’t want it to become the next Madison!
Honor must be an unusual name in the states the way everyone is reacting to it. in England it is not unusual at all..its just a name you come across so often…my neighbour named her little girl Honor a few months ago..and i know a few others too. if an english celebrity called her daughter that, everyone would say she had given her an old fashioned name…its got nothing to do with honor and glory.. thats not what the name is about.
All I have to say is this, it’s there decision, but I don’t understand why the kids have to live with such a ridiculous name like that. Most of the celebs today are getting pregnant and having babies before they even get to the alter to say I Do. That name is far to old of a name, to be used in this century. I feel really bad for the poor kid. I think they should do away with the name Honor, and change it to Hailey or something that actually sounds like a girl’s name, honor isn’t a name for a girl. I am sorry for those of you with that name already, but this is the 21st century, these celebs need to come up with names that make sense. I guess there’s always Jagger Joseph Blue, but that name is already taken by Soleil Moonfrye’s new baby girl, another name I think is totally inappropriate for a girl. I do wish the couple all the happiness in the world, but that name is just not a name for a girl! I am sorry, I don’t mean to be mean, but it sounds like I am not the only one feeling that way.

what an awful first name. i hope the call the kid marie. i am over jessica. i don’t think she appreciates her success. she just seems so angry & anti all the time. i used to think she was so cute when she first came on the scene. however, her bad attitude lately highlights the fact that i don’t think she has she ever been in a movie that was actually good.
